After years of not dj'ing, I was asked to do some music and announcements for a grand opening. I was skeptical about the rather compact size. But while doing my sound check the day before, I had a neighbor from a quarter mile away come over to complain. I asked if she could hear it clearly, she angrily replied "every word"
I thanked her and apologize d at the same time.

Might wanna look elsewhere...
I'm using these for a wall mount jukebox that puts out 250 watts per channel, so these, rated at 800 watts, should be fine. They arrived yesterday, and upon hooking them up, I noticed the woofer on one of them only worked when the speaker was held upside down. I pulled the woofer out, and the negative wire was not soldered to the terminal. Resoldlering that fixed it, but it really didn't help these sound much better. These produce very little bass, and turning up the bass only makes everything very muddy. I have a set of Peavey speakers that have almost the same specs, but the Peavey's sound MUCH better.
