non magnetic, looks great though

negative

- not magnetic, and only super light erasers or light pens will stay

- lost template, eyeballed it and looks to be okay. (wasn't easy to find a template to download)

- 6 mounting holes, make sure to hit at least 2 at the bottom and 1 drywall anchor in the middle to keep it looking level

positive

- it's glass and looks stellar

- easy to erase and very little ghosting

- don't throw away the 2 foam paddings in the back as it gives it support when writing on the board

- by far the nicest whiteboard of the many i've bought along the years (others way smaller)

- packaging was great coming in and was easy to remove and take to new house

Markers show up dull and poor magnet capabilities.

I ordered 5 of these for work, 4 of the 4X6 and 1 of the 8x10. The boards look great. Easy installation and were sturdy on the wall. Unfortunately the markers show up kind of dull. I think it has to do with the glass. Also the magnet function is just about useless. I have purchased 4 kinds of magnets and none of them will stick just the 4 mini magnets that were supplied. However for a sleek look they are great.

Update 5/11/17

after purchasing 7 different sets of magnets from standard ones to neodymium magnets we have had very little to no luck fining a magnet that sticks well to this board. the rare earth magnets work ok but thats about it. I love the look of the board and its very sturdy on the wall being its glass but the claim of being magnetic should be very loosely interpreted.

Beautiful and professional looking board, but "magnetic" feature is seriously lacking.

The board is very attractive and adds a touch of class to the office. Unfortunately, the "magnetic" feature is pretty useless. I had purchased a number of magnetic accessories designed specifically for use on magnetic display boards (display holders, dry-erase marker holder, red/green status indicator magnets, etc.). However, the magnetic holding power of the board is about 10% of the holding power I feel compared to applying the accessories to the side of a filing cabinet or cubicle cabinet. Nothing stays in place! I can only assume that the 1/8" thick glass puts too much distance between the magnetic accessories and the metal on the back of the board, because every accessory I have adheres firmly to the side of a filing cabinet, but either slowly slides down the magnetic board or doesn't adhere at all. Anyway, the board really is very attractive and looks professional enough that I intend to keep it and use it as a regular dry-erase board. However, if you're looking for a "magnetic" display board, this isn't a good option.
