Poor quality

I got this to play retro pie. It's terrible. There is a white ring arohnd6the whole screen. I bought this a month ago. The first one didn't work at all then I got a replacement and I opened and plugged it in and it's has this ring. Terrible.

Nice picture but very annoying noise from controls

I purchased this little monitor to use as a small desktop TV in my home office, via a Roku stick and YouTube TV. The screen brightness and resolution are nice, and the small, unobtrusive footprint is ideal for my desktop. That said, I am unfortunately returning the monitor after less than a day of use because of the controls. It emits a very loud BEEP anytime a button is pressed. Turn on the monitor: BEEP! Lower the volume: BEEP! Turn off the monitor: BEEP. The touch controls on the front of the monitor are super sensitive. If you accidently brush them with your finger the shrill beep will go off again. The beep is so loud that someone elsewhere in my house rushed to my office to see if there was a problem. Turning the monitor's volume off only shuts off the speakers, not the beep. There is no menu option to disable it.

Other things I didn't care for, but that would not have been deal breakers:

1) As other reviewers have noted, the stand doesn't hold the monitor securely. I used a phone holder instead, as shown in my picture. It held it securely and also looked better.

2) The remote control does not come with a battery. You will need a C2025 battery to use it. I should point out that the monitor beeps whether of not you are turning it on/off or adjusting it with the buttons or the remote.

3) The speakers are very tinny sounding. That's to be expected for a monitor that is so inexpensive, so I'm not complaining. However, the audio was louder that I would have liked at the lowest setting just before turning the speakers off.

Pros:

1) As mentioned, the picture is bright and clear. If that's all you need, this might be a good choice for you.

2) The 9 inch size is great. There are a lot of 7 and 10 inch monitor choices, but for my desktop, 9 inches was perfect.

3) I like having the HDMI port and power connector on the side instead of the bottom so that the monitor can sit low.

If not for the loud noise of the controls, I likely would have kept the monitor and connected a mini external speaker to it for YouTube TV. But the the beeping noise is so loud that I don't even want to turn it on in in my office when I'm having my morning coffee and checking my emails, for fear that it will wake up others in my house that are still sleeping.

Useing this screen

Using as a Flight Management Computer display for my B737-800 flight deck. Works great. As one reviewer stated the power adapter cord is short, but I've go mine plugged into an extension cord behind the computer.

Good quality monitor

It's a good monitor. The screen is very high quality and the buttons on it feel more like sensors than buttons, which makes it feel very nice. I would recommend this. The only con is that it the remote it comes with feels cheap, but it isn't even needed so it's fine.
