Where's the Connector pin?

Did not receive a signal at all. Maybe i'm wrong, but I didn't see a connector pin? The magnet worked though. But that's about it.

I thought I would be able to use it on my way from CA to NV but heard nothing there and back. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️. Going to hope that if I buy another one, it'll work.

Maybe I could get a job doing Quality Assurance/Quality Control if the company needs another pair of eyes? 👀

Poor reception due to faulty connector

This was a gift for someone who also got a cb radio. You can see where the connector is, that part of the metal is MISSING. It is defective. The reception is NOT what it should be. I have seen many others who purchased, had the same problem. The connecting metal is poorly made and incomplete. Would like a refund.

Missing parts from the factory

Well I paid double thr price of a no name to get a cobra to match my new Cobra 29 and straight out of the box this antenna did not have a copper stud on it to enter the CB ..it has clean perfect solder but looks like it got skipped..sent it back and I hope thr new one comes fast and complete

Not Durable

Worked well until it didn't. Mast fell out on I-20 thru Atlanta. Reception and range was ok but durability was not. Only had it for about 1200 miles before it bounced out. I would recommend putting blue loctite on the set screw.

Shipping method was rough.

Need to start taping close the original packaging because now I’m missing a tiny retaining screw for the antenna because everything spilled out of the original packaging and was bouncing around inside the box

Outstanding for a mobile mag mount. I have been running this antenna for about a week now. Magnet is strong and hasn't moved at highway speeds of 80mph on the trunk. It barely catches the garage door. Tuned very low SWRs right out of the packaging with the whip all the way in. I just had a conversation with a local base station 21 miles out. RF gain was peaked out and squelch was turned down, but I could talk to him on my barefoot Cobra 29 and he could hear me just fine. Hands down, this beats (IMHO) a fiberglass antenna any day. It looks good because of the black finish. If you are riding the fence between this and a fiberglass such as a Firestick or a Skipshooter, get this. You will be very surprised at the performance. I do not know if it will handle the advertised 300watts.

Great antenna for a Road Trip hobbyists

Simple design, quality parts and a magnet that could use a little more heft and grab (reason for the 4 Stars). Mounted on the trunk with only 1" of cable exposed out of the trunk (try to minimize that distance in case it breaks loose!), and over 400 miles of sustained 70+mph...Zero issues. Hasn't budged at all. I ditched the rubber boot...instead used Oracle color matched vinyl to protect the paint. SWR readings were 1.4 across the board with a few clips (small bolt cutters work best) off the whip itself. Mated to a Cobra DX19IV cb.

Decent antenna

Firstly, let it be said that this antenna is not intended for permanent use. It is meant to be used temporarily. That said, it works great when I need it.
