Reassuring for pet owners

Exactly what we needed to keep an eye on the dogs when we ate out . We can follow them around the house if need be . Reassuring to see they mostly sleep !

A NEW FAMILY MEMBER

The new robot has become an official member of our family, and we have even named him "Eustaquio."

It has been a wonderful addition. With twin adolescents, I used to have to shout to get their attention for dinner or other matters. Now, I can easily use the robot to check in or call them without losing my temper. They also use it to reach out to me when they have questions, allowing us to communicate without being intrusive. Even their friends enjoy playing with it and find it very cute.

I love this little robot.

I love it. Driving it around and seeing through the camera is a blast. One of my cats is absolutely fascinated by Ebo. He follows it around and will gently paw at it from behind. When Ebo stops, my cat walks around to the front and noses at it. It’s hilarious.

We have it downstairs and I love it so much, I’m considering getting the Air 2 for upstairs.

The 2s was quick and easy to setup. I haven’t had an issue with battery life, but I always either navigate it back to the charger or tell it to go home when I’m done driving it around. I plan to setup a patrol soon, because we’re going out of town for the weekend. I’ll be able to test out more features while we’re gone, since I mainly got it to check on the cats.

People complain about Ebo’s ability to find its charger. This one found it flawlessly from five feet away. The charger is also under a shelf, so Ebo had to navigate between the legs. It did it with no issue while going backwards.

I love the design. It goes over our tile, up on a rug, and over a crinkly cat toy like a champ. It’s absolutely adorable with its big eyes. My cat hasn’t given it a big whack yet, but as soon as he does, I’ll update how Ebo handled it.

I think it’s absolutely worth the money for what you get - peace of mind about my cats, a fun way to pass the time when I’m upstairs at work and want to take it for a spin, and a way to startle my roommate by sneaking up on her when she’s downstairs. I highly recommend!

Fun home robot for pets, family, and remote check-ins

I love this little robot. I actually own a Loona petbot as well, but the EBO Air 2S works much better for home monitoring, entertaining pets, and staying connected with family or friends. One of my main uses is checking in on and entertaining my girlfriend’s cat when she’s not home. We’ve set up multiple profiles so we can both access it anytime. It’s also surprisingly fun for video calls — instead of just calling, I can drive the robot over to her on the couch and talk through it, which always gets a laugh.

The 2.5K video quality is very good for a mobile home robot, and night vision works well in low light. Battery life is solid, and the customization options — facial expressions, voice changers, and other features — add a lot of personality.

That said, the app can feel a bit clunky and isn’t always intuitive. You also need to program routes if you want autonomous movement or reliable auto-docking. Photo and video quality isn’t cinematic, but it’s more than enough for monitoring and interaction. For under $300, it’s a great value and a genuinely fun, futuristic way to stay connected with pets and loved ones.

Fun and cute little remote control camera... a little wonky though.

This Enabot EBO Air 2S "FamilyBot" remote control camera (2.5K) works as described. The setup is super easy and you will be driving the CameraBot around with your phone in minutes. The bot moves around on tank like rubber tracks and is a little wonky to control with the app along with the bot itself. It is best on hard flat flooring only... not good at all on carpet and cannot go over any obstacles such as a slightly raised door threshold. My dog Orbit is terrified of it so far but maybe he will get used to it... he won't even walk past it in its charging base currently unless I turn off the eyes. The camera is decent and has a fish-eye look but has a wide field of view. It doesn't seem to have a problem going back to its base either providing you are near it (pointing at it) when you send it home. It will do some looking around and thinking and then eventually back right up into the charger. I tested it in a few random locations and did not seem to matter where it was as long as it could see the base when told to go home. I have not let it roam around until it thinks it needs to go home on its own so that may be an issue. I don't think this is a smart as the robot vacuum cleaners though. Either way it's a cool little remote control camera you can control, see, and move from anywhere as long as your WiFi and internet is up and working.

Affordable well engineered home robot.

We are enjoying this when we are away from home. I love the interaction with our cat, who is VERY curious about this new addition to the house. First of all, it is easy and simple to set up. The instruction manual is well written and understandable, and you simply follow the instructions to hook up to your WiFi network. The battery lasts all day, even when interacting and moving it around. The look and feel of it is stellar. The build quality seems excellent, as it is solid and exudes quality. The tracked mobility works well on hard floors and low nap carpet, but does struggle on thick carpets, especially when turning, as the tracks tend to bind as one track is stationary while the other is trying to "pull" the robot around through the thick carpet. For tracks this small, this is expected. We simply keep from turning it much when on thick carpets! One thing I don't care for is the semi-sticky pads on the back and bottom of the charging dock (see my pic). I'm assuming they are there to keep it in place. However, they are not sticky enough to really do a good job of that, and sometimes the dock does move a little when docking, and those sticky pads just collect dust until they no longer can do their intended jobs. Nice idea, but I ended up using very thin double sided carpet tape to hold the dock in place. The video quality is great! Even in low light, you can see things clearly. At this price this is a good buy.

Fun and useful

Super easy to set up and works great. Video quality is clear and it moves around smoothly. Fun to use but also helpful for checking on the house or pets. Really happy with it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
