"Vintage" but functional
This thing is so dang cool. If you want a functional tape measure for everyday carry that also looks and feels cool, this is it. However, it has no lock and the spring does not feel as tight as on a Stanley. So, this isn't for major heavy-duty use. But I love the vintage aesthetic, the all-metal casing (it's weighty at over 60 grams), and the attention to detail. It's a very nifty little 2-meter tape that will be handy to have within reach. It feels like something from the 1950s in a good way. (Also, made in Taiwan, not that big country that's over there.) Docked one star for the faceplate being a little rattly.
