Great DIY panel!
This is a really good do it yourself panel!(ps you will need to buy he keypad separately) It might be a little bit hard to understand how to wire it but once you get it it’s really easy! It’s also really easy to program the panel with a Honeywell 6160 keypad! I really recommend to get a 6160 keypad to program this panel because it is really hard to program with the 6150. Please! Save the money and save up for the 6160 it will help you in the longe run with programming! Also if you don’t want to run wires to sensors you can always get the Honeywell 6160rf keypad for wireless devices!

The product was damaged before being packaged. Who ever packaged the product had to of seen the damage. The door frame was noticeably damaged. Do better with quality control. Still a good product.

If you are a professional alarm installer then I guess this thing is just peachy. If not, you are probably out of luck. I have read and re-read the book
a dozen times. I have watched hours of video online. I have beat my damned brains out trying to get it to work. The instructions are NOT user friendly at all. There is no glossary of terms and believe me there are many you must know and comprehend to be able to program it. The instructions assume that you already have knowledge of alarm systems. Everything is abbreviated, both in the book and on the panel display. You will find yourself wandering aimlessly through the book for clarification of a term, function, or device at the most inopportune times. I suggest you download the PDF manual from Ademco and read it before you buy this monstrosity. If you find yourself confused after that DO NOT buy the system. I have added a snip from the manual as am example of what you will be dealing with(see photo).

Version 9.18 from DYMS
I just received the panel today. Looks new original packaging from DYMS at firmware version 9.18 (printed on the box). I will see if I can upload a photo. Once I get it installed I will update this review and star rating. The version was important to me because I want to use the 6162, May others have ordered the VISTA-20s and got what I call (returns) with lower firmware.
