Sounds great, convenient, extremely useful

Been using PC amp sims for years now and was never that happy with the sound of any of them, they were just convenient. It's nice to ditch the PC and have a permanent set up using pedals for my tone and the IR for the pre-amp and cab (which goes into a PRS/Waves DI box and then a mixer). The Hotone sounds great, I have a few 3rd party IR's and have not even felt the need to use them like I did with the PC sims. No more of that nasty 4k sizzle that's hard to get rid of. Closest I've got to a real amp/cab sound without an amp or cab.

So I have had this for a month or two now. I’m running it through the FX loop on my Pod HD 500X. It has really expanded the tonal option that I can achieve. Well worth the money and has improved the Pod to a point that I probably wouldn’t have to upgrade to a Helix for sometime.
