Like that it is solor works great only problem I had was snow would blow and cover censors and make it continually ring. A bit irritating at 3:00 am. So I put my mind to work and built what i call my driveway chime hats made from vinal flashing i had and they work perfect gives it cover but does not block the solar panels or the cancers. Love all the different tones that are on it got extra for my shop so I know when someone comes when I am out there.

No False Alarms. Work Great! No Batteries!

We purchased the Driveway Alarm System in Oct. 2018 and have had it installed for almost a year. I mounted the units on 2" PVC pipe painted black to match our fence. They are about 30 feet apart with one unit 30" off the ground and the other about 47" high (the lot slopes). This monitors both the vehicle gate and the pedestrian gate. We have never had a false alarm. They are high enough that our dogs don't break the beam so - no alarm due to a dog. If either of the gates open or close, or someone passes through - we get an alarm. The solar power works great. About a month after installing I had to reset one of the units but it's been good ever since. It is about 120' from the base to the units at the gates. We apparently have an older unit that does not have a volume control so I can't rate that feature. Highly recommended..

Simple installing but doesn’t loose quality.

Very easy installation, it comes with great sensitivity and very long range. Laser was able to reach from the front of the house to all the way back to the end of my backyard which is around 100 feet. Our family was very pleased by this product.

Ring ring ...no more

I have a long driveway and work from home and can’t see who coming in. I get a variety of people rolling in from UPS ,FedEx and the oil truck regularly and it’s a pain when I’m on a conference call when the doorbell is ringing. I haven’t had it a week yet but so far device is perfect and was a simple setup! Setup tip I did mine alone, so power up the base and bring it outside with you as you line it up break the beam by hand and listen for the ring tone ! Saved me a load time trying to level and trying to look through that foolish pin hole sites. Has a load different ring tones from Beethoven to Merry Christmas a bit much but works great!.

We’ll see how it hold up over the winter it hits 20 below here with 5 feet of snow.

UPDATE: after 8 months the driveway alarm started sending multiple false alarm ring tones and the just stopped working. Hoped it would last longer but the outdoor sensor no longer reacts to the beam being broken. Too bad I really wanted to like this for a long while but it’s dead 💀. So revised my review to two star for not lasting a year.

The Alarm System works just as we had hoped!

We live in a rural area with a driveway through mesquite trees which tend to mask anyone entering the driveway. The HTZSAFE Driveway Alarm is a focused method for accurately alerting to vehicles or people using the driveway. Stray dogs, rabbits, birds, and the wind blowing the trees do not trigger the alarm. Opening the package to check out the new alarm was an impressive presentation. The alarm system components came complete with the brackets, bolts, nuts, and screws for two methods of installing the alarm system. The instructions were clear for me to understand (even though it took a magnifying glass for me to read them easily. The included note from Robin, the Shopkeeper, set the tone, positive and supportive, for the "adventure" of learning how to install the alarm. It was fairly straight-forward to follow the instructions and make the alignment required. When I then installed the system in the driveway it worked just as I expected it to do! Our very first "real" alert was a neighbor who walked up the drive to visit. Our days of someone surprising us by knocking at our front door are over.

Brought it for my driveway security.Solar power and no wiring makes this product really easy to be installed.Works great ,when car drive in my driveway the indoor reciver will notice me.Then I have enough time finish my job and get ready before some one ring my door bell.
