I installed 2 sets of these in my doors. I have them in parallel, 2 ohm, on 100w per channel class AB amp. These not only are not loud but don’t sound good either. My cheap Chinese MB Wuart 4x6’s on the stereo are louder and actually sound better. I would not recommend these and I’ve been a loyal Infinity customer since the late 80’s

Great sound got the money
Works well in my work truck source unit is a Pioneer AVH-2330 and the small pioneer amp. I have a 6.5” tube the handles the lower end.

Get these
If you want to upgrade your stock speakers, buy these. They sound amazing compared to my stock 5 1/4 coaxial speakers (2000 Cherokee). No amplifier yet, just “22 watts” coming from my Kenwood head unit. 4 x 45 watt amp inbound, should make these sound even better.
My install was probably harder than most, especially if you will be using this setup in a more modern car that already has a tweeter location. I had to mount the crossovers in the doors and had to modify my interior side mirror trim pieces to accept the tweeters. I also had to modify the tweeter mounts to fit the tight space. While I was in the door I added killmat and closed cell foam to reduce rattles and road noise.
My only complaint is that while the tweeters came with wires, the woofers did not. Pretty stupid to not include the wires when they know the speaker wires that used to go to the speakers will now go to the crossover and you’ll have nothing to connect the woofer to the crossover.

Nice crisp and bright sound. Missing some bass.
Very crisp and bright sound. Far more superior than pioneers or Kenwoods I have installed before. To me they sound better than the jbls I replaced in my old Acura. I put these in my Lexus is250c and they sound great. They are just missing some bass. The sound is clean with the tweeters and they never distort. Even on full blast they don’t sound bad.
