Thick, warm growl
Great overdrive/amp simulator pedal. My first Joyo product and impressed with sound quality and comstruction. It's not really bright, some may call it muddy, but it works great for me playing dirty blues and classic rock. If you experiment with levels it takes fuzz and distortion pedals in front of it pretty well which is good for adding a little bite. I also run a compressor in front of it for that reason. Definitely has a beefy tone by itself, maybe just missing a little bite as mentioned but for 40 bucks I am very pleased. The picture I took shows the settings I use mist often for a nice warm growl...
