This camera is very simple to use. We simply plugged it into our windows 11 PC and the camera worked perfectly. The camera mount sits perfectly and securely on top of our Samsung flat screen monitor. The camera has a nice and long cable, allowing it to reach our desktop tower with no problem. The camera has a fixed lens and no optical zoom. The picture quality is very good. It has a solid plastic housing and it feels well made and durable. The camera has built in microphones which sound good (although we generally use a studio mic). For the price, this camera is a good value. Overall, we are happy with this product.

Good for video calls
I use this exclusively for Zoom meetings and it is great for that purpose. The image is clear and it does reasonably well in low light. I always use a headset so I can't speak to the built-in microphone.
Setup was easy — truly plug and play. You can also adjust the camera angle a bit, which is handy for getting the right position.
It uses a standard USB-A connection and comes with a USB-C adapter, which is a nice flexibility to have depending on your setup.
My only initial hesitation was the monitor mount — it didn't inspire a lot of confidence at first glance. But it has stayed firmly in place for a couple of weeks now, so no complaints there.
At the current price of about $19, this is a good value. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Crisp 1080p Video, Zero Focus Hunting, and Seamless Plug-and-Play Setup!
If you need an affordable, dependable webcam for Zoom calls, remote work, or online classes without dealing with fussy software, the Kensington W1060 EQ delivers exceptional value.
Video quality is sharp and clear at full 1080p. The fixed-focus lens is actually a huge benefit for everyday meetings—it eliminates that annoying, constant "focus hunting" blur common on budget autofocus webcams whenever you move your hands or shift in your seat. Auto light correction does a solid job compensating for dim home office lighting and harsh monitor glare, keeping your skin tones natural.
Setup is truly driver-free plug-and-play on both PC and Mac; plug the USB cable in, and your meeting apps recognize it instantly. The integrated dual stereo omnidirectional microphones pick up voice audio clearly while filtering out light background keyboard clatter.
The monitor mount is sturdy with a firm hinge that grips thin laptop lids and thick desktop displays securely without sliding, plus it includes standard tripod threading underneath.
A straightforward, reliable, high-definition webcam that gets straight to business with zero hassle!

Hassle-Free Webcam for Everyday Use
Hassle-Free Webcam for Everyday Use
I picked up the Kensington W1060 EQ as a simple video setup, and it gets the job done without any hassle. Setup was quick since it uses a standard USB Type-A cable, and the included USB-C adapter made plugging it into a desktop or laptop seamless. The video quality is clear enough when I used it for Zoom calls, and the built-in mic's audio works fine for standard talking. It ultimately ended up with my teen son, who uses it to call his friends while playing online games. It is a solid, basic option if you need something that works right out of the box.

Kensington is Great!
Kensington is a premier maker of many computer accessories. They are my go-to with almost everything I've gotten, from my mouse to my wireless keyboard and now this additional webcam. This is a 1080 pixel webcam! It really doesn't get any better than that! It has a fabulous warranty on it but with Kensington you're never going to need it. It comes with complete instructions in multiple languages on how to install it and use it. But I'll be surprised if I need it since most of their products work so well they are almost Plug and Play. I would recommend them highly for anything! It's always nice to have an extra webcam just in case something goes wrong with the one on your computer. Plus it's nice if you're good with a camera to have multiple views that you can switch back and forth with if you so choose to do so.

Easy plug & play webcam!
Plug and play, no driver to install! It plugs right into my Mac's dock and attaches to my auxilliary monitor. I couldn't be happier. It has good picture and audio quality and is more than enough for my needs, mostly attending online meetings. I prefer it over the camera on my macbook because it sits higher and comes in at an angle and I think it's more flattering.

Pretty nice camera for the price, but leaves some features to be desired…
There are a couple things left to be desired with this camera, so I’ll start with that, and then tell you what I like about it.
The W1060 1080p fixed focus webcam has exactly what is in the name which bothers me. Fixed focus means this camera is purely for simple calls on FaceTime and zoom, not for using it in a production environment for live streaming, etc. You won’t be able to old up products up to the camera and have it perfectly be in focus, with the background bokeh. The audio is ok, but you are really getting what you are paying for with this. The adjustment to bright highlights or sun rays hitting someone’s face in the other room while I’m less lit is pretty bad. But it’s not the most expensive camera, so for someone looking for that budget friendly option, this one may just be your ticket!
As far as the good, I really think for the most part the color looks really natural and doesn’t add extra sharpness out of the box. Frame rate is good but not perfect. As far as it being plug and play, it sure is! But I’ll need to look at the manual to see if there is an app or drivers for windows as I do frequent that daily. It includes both the USBA and an Adapter for USBC. It also has a nice slide over cover to block the lens when not in use, which I really like. Lastly, the head moves on all tilts on a ball head I think, which Logitech does not do, so if your monitor or wherever you have the cam placed is slightly slanted, you can adjust for that easily!
Overall pretty good, but has its quirks that I wish could have been included. The stuff I get from Kensington is usually really nice quality, so I’m sure I’ll find a purpose for this webcam in my setup.

Fixed Focus Means Less Deblur In Your Background!
While I am largely back in the office these days, I still work from home occasionally, and when doing that it is important to have a webcam that does not give too much background during the call, as my home office happens to be my bedroom. And to be fully up front with this webcam, you will still have to use the blur feature on it even though it is a fixed focus. That in and of itself is a bit disappointing, however not disappointing enough to deduct any stars, because the fixed field of focus is still much better than the webcam I had, which was a earlier model from early and the pandemic.
As I attempt to show in this video, you get a good amount of movement without de blurring the background, much more so than what I suspect is a competing webcam. The video is good in regular and dim lighting, and the camera seems perfectly responsive. I was a bit surprised by the inclusion of the USB adapter cable, as I would have hoped this was natively usb-c, but I suppose at 1080p you are nowhere near the band with limitation of the USB protocol. All in all this is a solid webcam for the home or home office, and I can give this an easy five stars.

Easy to Use
I’ve been using this webcam mainly for video calls and online meetings, and so far it has been a simple, reliable upgrade. The black design is clean and understated, and the webcam is compact enough that it doesn’t take up much space. The adjustable clip holds securely on the top of my laptop or monitor, and it can also be mounted on a tripod with the standard 1/4-inch thread. The tilt adjustment and 360-degree horizontal rotation make it easy to find the right angle without much fuss.
One feature I especially appreciate is the built-in physical privacy shutter. When I’m not using the camera, I can simply slide the cover closed, which gives me some extra peace of mind. The USB plug-and-play setup is also very convenient. I plugged it into my PC and it was recognized without installing additional drivers, and it worked smoothly with Windows, macOS, Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet.
The webcam records at 1080p/30fps. It doesn’t offer 60fps, but for regular video conferencing, 1080p at 30fps is more than adequate. The fixed-focus lens stays clear at a typical desk distance of around 50–80 cm, and the automatic light correction does a nice job in normal indoor lighting. It helps keep my face from looking too dark or overly bright when the room lighting isn’t perfect.
With good lighting, the image looks natural, with decent color and enough detail for everyday meetings. In lower light, the correction helps, although some noise becomes noticeable. The field of view is moderately wide, which works well for one person without making the background feel unnecessarily crowded. For several people in the frame, I’d simply move the camera a little farther back.
The built-in stereo microphones are another useful convenience. At close range, my voice comes through clearly and the basic noise reduction helps with everyday background sounds. In a noisier room or when I’m sitting farther away, the pickup is less impressive, so anyone who needs especially high-quality audio may still want to use a dedicated microphone.
