Not for Average/Small Heads; Lots of Vibration

First, the good points. These headphones are packaged well, look nice, are easy to pair with a smartphone, are easy to charge with the special dedicated magnetic charger & charge relatively quickly, & are simple to operate.

Now for the bad points. These headphones are huge in that they are not for people with small or average size heads at all because the band is simply way too long going around your head & sticks out/protrudes a couple of inches from the back of your head making the headphones loose & not keeping the speakers in front of your ears in the proper place as illustrated in the pictures in the listing & the models on the box. The band needs to be either much shorter or adjustable so that it is form fitted around the back of your head & over the ears securely & holding the speakers in the proper position. These, being huge, are loose, slide down & not fitted properly so the sound can go into your head. I have a pair of Shokz minis bone conduction headphones (for music & phone calls, not an amplifier) that I love which fit properly & securely against my head so the bone conduction quality can work properly & no vibrations on my skin. These PulsZen headphones vibrate terribly when it touches your skin even when turned low, this shouldn't be. My Shokz (music) bone conduction headphones do not do this because they fit properly for 1 reason. These PulsZen headphones are so loose & not fitted it causes the sound to actually sound muffled but when you press the speakers onto your cheek/ear area where they are supposed to properly rest by themself the sound is pretty good while trying to listen to music on your phone. While using the amplifier function, the sound sounds canny, not quite tinny but like in a can. So when you turn the volume down to stop the vibrating, you can't hear well. So it is a catch-22. Way too big of a non-adjustable headband on the headphones & way too much vibration for this expensive investment.

This really works! It is comfortable and effective!

I have been experiencing some hearing issues that are likely to be temporary, but it has been a bit difficult to deal with in the meantime. When I saw this product, I ordered it but I didn't know exactly what to expect from it. When it arrived, I set it up and put it on. I was surprised at how well it works! I could instantly hear the other people around me clearly.

This product is very simple to use, and the controls are easy to operate. It is more comfortable to wear than I had anticipated. Since it hooks over the ears, it stays in place even when I move around. I have not had it fall off even once since I have been using it. It is very lightweight. I can't even really feel it too much once it is on. It is comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time.

It charges up very quickly, and one charge lasts most of the day. It is very versatile as well. It has different settings for use in relatively quiet settings, and also in louder, noisier environments. I wore it out to the mall for shopping and lunch, and it did a good job of letting me hear my family members while filtering out the background noise.

I think that this is a really good value, considering it can enable you to hear! Being able to hear what is going on around me is a big deal, and worth much more than the price of this item. I think that this product is a really good option to try for people experiencing hearing loss, whether temporary or a more permanent type.

Balances My Ears While Keeping Me Connected

TLDR: These open-ear sound amplifiers work excellently for my noise-damaged hearing, especially equalizing my weaker right ear, while keeping me aware of my surroundings. Solid Bluetooth functionality for calls, music, and videos makes them versatile for daily life, though the fit sits closer to the canal than expected and mode-switching could be snappier. After a week of daily use, I am genuinely pleased and would recommend them for anyone with similar hearing challenges.

I have spent my whole working life in loud industrial environments. Even with consistent hearing protection, it has taken a toll. My right ear hears noticeably worse than my left, making conversations, videos, and everyday sounds a constant struggle. These open-ear devices promised natural listening without blocking my ears, and they have delivered.

The open-ear design keeps my ear canals unobstructed, so I can still hear everything around me while the built-in HD microphone and amplification bring distant or muffled sounds into clear focus. It is a huge relief not to feel isolated like I do with traditional earbuds or headphones.

What surprised me most was how well they equalized my hearing. For the first time in years, sounds come through balanced between both ears. My right side finally keeps up with the left, making dialogue in podcasts, phone calls, and TV shows much more enjoyable and less fatiguing. The 32-channel optimized audio with dialogue noise reduction shines here. It cuts through background noise without sounding artificial and feels like a natural extension of my own hearing.

The dual-mode versatility works well. I switch into Bluetooth mode for phone calls, videos, music, or podcasts, and it automatically returns to Voice Mode when there is no Bluetooth signal. Battery life easily lasts through full workdays and evenings. At just 35 grams with skin-friendly silicone and an ergonomic shape, they stay comfortable for hours of wear.

That said, they are not perfect. The fit is not very adjustable and sits closer to my ear canal than the product photos suggest. More customization would help. Mode switching also takes several seconds after pausing media before amplification resumes, which feels noticeable in quiet moments.

After wearing these daily for a full week, I am impressed. They have made a real difference with my hearing limitations. If you have similar background noise exposure or uneven hearing, these are worth trying for their strong balance of awareness, clarity, and convenience.
