Poorly contructed, cheap knock off
EXTREMELY disappointed in these head seats. I ordered two of them for my crew, opened the first one and proceeded to install batteries. The battery cover broke off at the plastic "hinge". These headsets usually only last a year or two before they get destroyed or lost on the crew anyways so I simply put a piece of tape on the cover (Which I shouldn't have to do in the first place, NOTHING like the 3mTEKK work tunes I've used over the years). Started tuning them and could not pick up any of the very common, strong stations that I could pick up with TWO other headsets and a small AA powered radio in the same location (I tried this after I was unsuccessful in tuning in on a station). So I switched to AM and got one there. Sound was clear and louder than most others I've used and it muffles sound better than some. But the FM side could not be used with much success. The second pair had similar problems, battery cover fell apart on the first install of batteries, couldn't receive FM stations clearly, and the silver metal wire, that goes over your head (there are two of them that run through the top of the head strap), came out and now will not hold the muffs on your ears any more. I will not ever buy these and will be returning them! Both sets had the same battery cover issue out of the box and inability to receive FM stations clearly. They were used for less than 4 hours.
