Works, but painful after a week

There's no denying this product works. I struggle to breathe through my nose even during the day, and this mitigated the problem while I slept.

However, after a week it is very painful. There are concave protrusions on the sides of the device that come into contact with the inside of your nose, and they are not smooth. In fact, even just feeling them with my fingers i would describe the protrusions as bordering on sharp. The sections of my nose that contact these protrusions have become raw with continued use, and further irritation every night has basically made the device unwearable.

Made in China, doesn't last.

Comfort: good

Easy to use: yes

Durability: no. See the picture of what happens after 3 weeks of use. I suspect that since manufacturing was moved to China, quality went south.

Will not stay in while sleeping

I found the Nozovent to be useless for sleeping.

It is essentially a plastic spring that you put under tension and stick up your nose.

The tension presses against the inside of your nostrils to hold open your nose.

This works ok while standing still, but if you toss or turn at all in your sleep, this spring will fly right out of your nose.

Unless you sleep like a rock, it will pop out.

That was my experience anyway.

I could only see this being useful for resting if you have trouble keeping your nose open.

Note that the lady on the box is not actually even wearing a nozovent.

p.s.

I'm uploading a photo showing the "silent sleep" adult and the nozovent side-by-side.

I Cut them Down To Fit Without Pain

I'm female with a standard size nose. These are for a LARGE nose. I don't snore, I wanted them to breath better during sleep, so I wouldn't be completely drained of all energy the following day.

These were very painful, hence unusable for me. Then I thought to cut them down to fit my nose. Now they only hurt if my nose is touched. It's nearly impossible to sleep without your nose being touched, by movement/pillow.

PICTURE - I have uploaded a picture. You can see the original size and the cut down size next to a ruler.

I hope this helps you make an informed decision.
