Solid industrial wide-angle camera for scientific applications and monitoring
An excellent quality high speed webcam for monitoring and scientific applications. This is easy to connect to any system. Tested on Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu. All were a snap to get configured and streaming, including on the web; no drivers were needed. The build quality is superb; the camera has a full metallic body with attachments for a variety of applications including standard tripod mount.
The lens is wide angle, so there's some amount of "fisheye" effect, but at the same time, it's able to capture a wide region.
A really positive experience. A highly recommended product!

A good security camera.
This little fisheye camera (with metal housing) would make a great security or camping camera. The camera itself, along with the case, feel very solid and rugged. While it is USB, I am sure it would work fine with a USB 3.0 extension cable, the one cable provides both power and data transfer. While connected to my PC, Windows 10 detected it without issue and immediately worked with the default Windows Camera software. In the images attached, the lower light picture of the PC case is a bit grainy, however. This camera would work best with more light than not. In the attached image of the keyboard, you can definitely see the fisheye effect in all its glory. If this is something that bothers you, this isn't the camera for you. However, knowing it does take decent pictures, runs on a single cable, and has a good frame rate you'd might consider this one. For the price of $110 at time of review, the price is a bit steep but you get something that should be able to withstand a beating, if needed.
