Not bad for an inexpensive camera
It's not bad for the cost. It's inexpensive, audio could be better and the motion detection playback sometimes is a bit delayed but that could be a wifi issue. Setup and connection was easy.

Reasonable basic camera
This camera does the stuff that most consumer security cameras do: Send push notifications to your phone when motion is detected. It does not store the videos that it records to the cloud, though there is an option to save them for $1 a month.
If you just want to be able to have a live view of somewhere in your house from your phone this one works fine. I’ve used Ring and Lindo security cameras before, and this one is pretty similar, although the app is less polished. The app that comes with this camera is a little wonky, with feature descriptions that can be difficult to understand. You can tell it wasn’t developed by someone who spoke English as their first language. I also didn’t like that the app has a lot of ads in it, though I can’t really fault it that much for the ads since pretty much all the big players in the camera space serve ads in their apps as well. There also is an option to turn the ads off, which is nice.
That said, the camera setup worked mostly ok for me. There is supposed to be an option where the camera will scan a QR code from your phone and automatically connect to your WiFi. That would have been cool, but it didn’t work for me. Luckily there is a manual setup option where you can connect to the camera directly via WiFi and entire in your home router’s information and WiFi credentials. I did that, and ever since then the camera has worked fine.
One nice thing — the camera comes with its own USB charger so you don’t have to supply your own.
One thing I don’t like about this camera is there doesn’t seem to be any “privacy mode” where it will turn the camera off and not detect motion. Most security cameras seem to have that feature, and I don’t know why they didn’t include it with this one. Like I said though, the app is a little wonky so it’s possible I just couldn’t find it.
Overall this camera is fine. It isn’t perfect, but it does basic camera stuff. The build quality feels a little cheap, but it’s probably what is to be expected for a budget camera. My main “issue” with this camera, if you want to call it that, is I don’t really know why you’d pick this one over some of the other budget security camera providers, like Wyze, for instance. You can get something from a different vendor for almost the same price which probably has a cleaner app with better support. That said, if you like this camera for whatever reason, it does what it says it will do, so no complaints there.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clear the images are from this camera.
__Super easy set up this paired with my iPhone right away and without issue
__Capable of saving to a micro SD card or else saving to a cloud storage at only .99 cents per week, dependent upon how busy One's area being recorded may be, either option is quite affordable. I have mine set up in hopes of finding out what is stealing my outdoor cat's food so there isn't a ton of movement to record, so I opted to use the SD card. Works great
__Night vision is good although I have not seen anything in complete darkness as where the camera is set up does have a light source at all times, though rather faintly, its still light into the viewing area...but even in that faintly lit area, the picture is very clear and not at all distorted
__Two Way Talk allows me to hear when there is movement/noise within the camera's range and then I can make noises to scare away a visiting critter to my cat's food bowl. EYE ROLLS
__The rotation of this camera give a nearly 360 degree viewing area PLUS it doesn't have a loud sound when its turning
__BOTTOM LINE: I am very pleased with the ease of use for this security camera and gladly recommend it with this 5 star review

Easy placement unit for good quality video monitoring
I often travel for extended periods, and so have tried several types of security cameras to monitor conditions in my home while away. The VSTARCAM home security camera is good solution.
The camera package includes power adapter and mounting hardware in the event you wish to install this unit with a more permanent mounting option. It can be used on any flat surface with access to an AC outlet. I find that it works perfectly on a table where I can get an immediate update on the electric power, environmental conditions and temperature in my home.
Installation is a breeze, especially if you are simply placing this on a flat surface. Supply power to the unit. Download the app, add +/ configure the camera, complete wifi settings and you are all set.
The video image is quite satisfactory, and viewing direction/angle easily controlled via the app.
Other features include motion detection/notification, two way speaker capability, multi user capability, livestream or TF card slot for record/playback.

Perfect pet (or baby) cam
I bought this for our new kitten and it's exactly what I was looking for. Night vision is great. You can change the position of the camera from the app. It's plug and play. No problems so far.

Great pet camera
This is my second pet camera, the first one I bought had the laser feature but I was looking for a basic one to put in a different part of the house to give me a second POV. I love that I can connect them both to the app and toggle between the two different cameras, there's even a little added feature so that when I give my phone a little shake, the camera view will toggle for me. I like that I can turn the motion sensor notifications on/off and change the sensitivity, and the tracking option is pretty funny if you catch someone unsuspecting who doesn't know that the camera will follow their path. The night vision works well and the speaker/mic function works great, I've often carried on full conversations by talking through the app on my phone to whomever is in the room with the actual camera.

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend and it's great. It's very easy to set up wirelessly, just remember to put your phone in airplane mode when doing so. Picture quality is awesome and there's several settings. Overall great for the price.

As soon as I opened this box where the camera is located and the Charger is located in it, this box they already had some holes in them and later on when I opened the camera there was a sticker of transparent color I removed it on this camera there are two scratches a little deep, Big is not deep at the bottom of the stains of a substance of an incomprehensible type.

Superior Night Vision without using Night Vision
Update 01/18/21: Just received my 3rd Vstarcam. At this point, I can't imagine owning any other brand.
I bought one of the 720p Vstarcams 2 years ago and I have it mounted inside my living Room Window so I can't use the night vision feature due to the reflection. Turns out, I really only need my porch light on and it is sufficient enough to see. Actually I like it better because It stays in color which can come in handy if you ever need to Identify the color of a car. Since I've owned the 720p Vstar cam I have bought several other brands and have mounted them right next to one another and have found not only are the others (which were supposedly 1080p) inferior to the Vstarcam in picture quality but the last one I bought was completely blacked out as soon as the sun set and useless without a LOT of I.R. led's blasting the area.
So I decided that I was only going to buy the VStarCams from here on out because I definitely don't want to have to use more than one app. but I also haven't found another 1080p cam in this price range that is near the quality of this 720p. So when I ordered another cam a couple days ago, it was a no brainer to order the Vstarcam 1080p... thinking, at worst, It would be the same quality or a little better. After I hooked it up I could definitely tell a difference right away in video quality but the real surprise came after the sun set. If you look at the Pictures I posted, both are the Vstarcams and the darker image is the 720p and the brighter is the new 1080p and you can easily see that the new cam is absolutely amazing looking out my window and no night vision being used on either of them. The 2 pictures were taken well after dark and the only light I have on is my 60 watt led porch light which isn't really that bright. The darker picture from the 720p cam is more true to how I see it outside with my eyes but the other camera completely surpasses any that I've tried. The camera stays on all night with no night vision and it is still in color. I know looking at the screen shots looks like there are some IR's on but I promise you it is only the porch light and the street lights and the street lights are no where nearly as bright as they appear through that camera, it's just that camera has an amazing sensor. So this is an easy one.... I highly recommend anyone whom is looking to mount a camera on the inside of a window looking out and still wants to see everything clearly in color and use no night vision to buy these 1080p VstarCams. It's also worth noting that the software is far better than the software for other cams I own and there is actually a different app for the cell phone and PC which is nice because the app for the pc looks like a professional system with a ton of really great features. Lastly, the older cam I bought 2 years ago has never worked through my Alexa Echo Show but to my surprise the new one does and it didn't require me to jump through hoops to make it work since all the software was already configured for Vstar.
Hooking up the second camera was very easy and fast, again, since my cell phone, PC, and Alexa Show was already configured for this brand, all I had to do was plug it in and open my Android app for the camera's and scan the bar code... and presto!!! Done!!

Worked great for a couple weeks but when I had to ...
Worked great for a couple weeks but when I had to unplug it and put it away, and then plug it back in, the female plug part, in the back of the camera, broke off and fell into the base of the camera. I took the base apart to see if it was a simple fix, but what I found was that the soldered connections had all broken off. I'm sure if I was more equipped, I could fix it, but for the price point, not really worth it.

These cameras have been a Godsend!!! Especially with having 4 kids and a baby, no more "he said she said" day after day! We simply tells the kids we are watching the cameras, and that we can rewatch them, and the truth comes out immediatly!!! With that said...

A few things i did not mention in my 20min review of both cams...
The Night vision is simply awesome, i included some pics below when it was nearly black in both rooms. Also, if you are recording on one cam in the app, you cannot record on the other, atleast not on the same phone/account. What me and my wife do is she will record our bedroom cam on her phone while i am recording the kids downstairs on my phone. As i stated in my video review, 2 cams can be connected as long as 2 seperate accounts are set. Also, mentioned in my review about the sound going out at times, well, i made this review almost 2 days ago, and the sound has been absolutely perfect, but i do mention in the videos how to fix this issue if it pops up.
Also, i would just like to say that these cameras work flawlessly on Android!!! Please check out my review for more info on this.

Always stay connected to your pets when you are not at home
I got the product mainly to see what my pet is doing when I'm not at home. This product come with a box and all the tools you need. You can put it on any serface or you can put it on your wall. Just follow the instructions to set up. I have set up 2 accounts so I can use two devices to open the app. You can listen, speak, and move 360 degrees with this camara. It's always connected with my wifi. Great product!

DONT BUY! Enhanced security update dropped today—cloud and SD no longer work!
1/9/19 They pushed through some enhanced security now the cloud and the SD cards don’t work. Pressing on the cloud doesn’t respond. I am still on the same system version as yesterday, so I’m not sure what they did. I’m looking for a new cam and software now and US made.
Update 8/8/18 One camera got wet. It went offline. We couldn't add it back. We tried the reset after removing it from the list of cams. I will order another possibly but will mount higher next time.
UPDATE: 5 to 2 rating - After 7 months, the cloud storage abruptly ended and it is asking me to renew! It never ask warned me. It serves limited purpose without the cloud unfortunately. You can't even renew the cloud because you have to be in the country of where it's made! I will need to research the card storage now. It irritates me they are not upfront about this. To me, this is a 6 month disposable cam unless you do the storage card option.
I love this camera! Great night vision too! Easy setup by following the wireless instructions. Night vision is excellent. We monitor two neighborhood cats and ensure there's food and water outside. We taped it with shipping tape under a patio bistro chair and got the black one. It's only gone offline once in a month. It went back online by itself. The newest update this week fixed the voice button and moved the shortcuts so they don't mess with your full screen--an improvement. They had a sale for $39 just now and I got another. Note: Ensure your wifi connection on your phone is on the 2.4 channel and not the 5 speed channel when setting up via your phone on wifi. I have an iPhone 6 iOS 10.3.3 and had no issues. In less than 15 mins we had it ready. I have never purchased from this company before the original purchase and was considering a $400-500 cam set (3 cams). This is less than half the price. 4 devices can be connected for viewing it said. We will setup the other phone next. It has a 24 hr cloud. Record. Button. Movement alerts with the sensitivity settings. Snapshots button. Voice chat. Presets are available so you can quickly see views. The range it views it amazing. Front 180 degree view. It can view straight up too, so 90 degrees up and it goes down too. It plugs in. The cord is about 3ft. The plug is a sideways one and narrow so you can still use the other plug. I recommend this one and I work in IT. Easy setup and the last code to put in is the 8 one, and not the wifi one. Follow the directions on the instruction sheet.
Recap: Write your house wifi password down. Remember to use a 2.4 speed wifi on your phone connection to your house wifi for the setup. Last code is the 8's.

I have to rescind my previous review. I had difficulty connecting to the internet, however the seller immediately contacted me regarding my issue gave me some options and the product works beautifully.We can monitor our precious puppy from work, school and while running errands. The picture quality is exceptional! Great seller, we are in the process of getting another one during Black Friday. Attached is a picture of our pup at home on video!
