Be it known. I bought this Driveway alarm June 24, 2025. It came with a 24 months waranty. June the 5th of this year, I sent a email message to the company and JUDY TAYLOR responded the same day. SEE THE RESPONSE

I sent her a photo of the (1) bad sensor and after several emails requesting a resolve--NO RESPONSE

It appears they DO NOT HONOR their warranty. I bought another set from them before this warranty request and I am considering sending it back... I am considering buying the unit from some one else!! Just be aware.

Up until today, 5-days later, NO RESPONSE.

Driveway alarm

Said it is waterproof it's raining and will no detect motion so it's not waterproof

These are great as a doorbell/alert!

These are still operating since my purchase back in September 2020! At first, I use them for driveway alarms. Later, when I moved, my new home did not have a doorbell and now I have a sensor at the front and the back door to alert me.

They get a bit overly sensitive and start chiming when it’s windy out and it senses “movement” and will get activated by birds or other wildlife or neighborhood kitties! They have yellowed some like white plastics do, being in the elements.

I have not had to replace batteries much at all. I use the chimes, although they do have various choices if you would like to have tunes instead!

I’ve been pleased with them and would buy again

Duck Doorbell

So we are the shortcut from the pond to the creek, and the ducks like to forage under the bird feeders on their way to the creek. With the drought, I put out little “pools” for them to enjoy. I never know when they are here, so I added this driveway sensor and now have the doorbell chime letting me know we have guests. It works great! You can have various songs play, but I prefer the chime. Have not had any false notifications. I did not make this video for this purpose, but thought it would show what it’s like in action and maybe give you ideas of a different use.

Works well but sensitive

Works very well but sensitive. Detect shadows from sun and clouds which can cause false detection. I add a 86type rainproof box wall lamp switch socket protection cover. Fits well over the sensor and has stopped most of the false detections.

Doesn't work after 8 months..

I bought the alarm on recommendations from the reviews and friends. Suddenly, It started ringing occassionally with no one around right before it stop working. I tried new batteries and re-pairing but still doesn't ring when motion is detected. Very disappointed since I know a few of my friends that have the same alarm for several years with no issues. I will considered another brand next time I order an alarm.

So I had an issue in regards to having my shoes stolen from my porch so this alarm notifies me if there’s anyone coming up the stares so I can check my camera and see who it is also it rings when I get packages I love it !! It comes with 2 I put one high and the other one low just in case .

Animals and driveway

A poopy Alert

This is a great alert sytem and easy to install. We live on the edge of the open desert in Arizona. Lots of predators. I have a very small dog so I have trained her to go potty in the laundry room on a washable pad. We especially love the idea of her going in the laundry room especially when we have monsoons in the summer. A plus all around. One little problem is sometimes she wants to eat her poopy. So now when she goes into the laundry room the song goes off and I go check on her. She will never eat her poopy again!!! Yeah!!!

Electrocution risk due to thin plastic around power pins

Just never unplug it!

I never do reviews but this one I had to do. I have had this sensor for about 2 months now. While it’s better than having no sensor (i.e it works about 70% of the time and ignores stuff sometimes)

My main issue is that the cheap plastic is so thin and fragile you can’t unplug without the risk of breaking it apart. Mine cracked between the pins after only 2 months!

Once the pins are separated from the casing by the crack like that, it’s only a matter of time before you get electrocuted while trying to unplug it and the plastic separates and leave the pins in the power socket.

Almost Perfection!

Since package/mail thief is very common everywhere I installed this on my front door to pair it with a security camera at the overhead. Works fine as expected on the spec of sensitivity range it triggers almost every single vehicle or human walking on the street. That's 50' from my main door at least. Good melodic alarm choices but with a busy day its going off every time so I chosen a non-annoying knocking alarm using the side buttons. The only reason its a 4 star is it share only one melodic alarm of choice for two sensors. I was wishing you can program two different tones so you may identify right away which area to look first and convenient. Made of cheap materials of plastic and its over priced a bit for this kind of quality. Over all its a good buy for the purpose.

Funciona de maravilla

Lo uso para cuidar mi auto y es fantastico.

Works as advertised!

I used metal strap to mount it to the outside wood area. Easy to adjust that way-more range of motion.

Lo primero que me gustó es que es muy fácil de emparejar la verdad no he sabido como ponerle tonos diferentes a cada sensor pero es realmente buena la detección de movimiento pero lo que mas me gusto de todo esto es que sean compatibles con otros sensores de diferente modelo de 1byone aquí les dejo la foto para que vean si tienen este tipo de sensores les van a la perfección tienen muy buen rango de alcance otro punto que me gustó mucho es que se conecte directo a la luz y sobre las baterías de los sensores yo les puse AAA duracell llevo aproximada mente como 2 meses sin quitárselas y aun me funcionan perfectamente les recomiendo este producto

Residents alarm

I like it

Terrible disappointment

I had high hopes for these motion detectors. It seems whatever motion you’re trying to detect needs to happen smack dab in front of this thing and 6 inches away. I am glad I decided to test before putting holes in the walls. These are junk and the tones are laughable, at best.

Great detection. Easy setup! Lots of options!

This is a great little motion detector. I actually thought it was a light when I first ordered it. However, it still serves its purpose in a different way. And we like it.

It is extremely easy to install. It comes with two screws and two anchors one for each motion detector. The receiver/transmitter can be plugged in anywhere.

We have our motion detectors downstairs in our house and we keep the receiver/transmitter upstairs in the master bedroom.

We plug it in at night as we're going to bed and the first person up will unplug it.

We've tested it in many spots and many different heights of people from small to large and it picks up all motion.

The transmitter has numerous options of music there's even a Christmas song. We wish you a merry christmas. Couple of old Kitty songs and other piano classics. Huge selection. You're able to turn the volume off or increase it or decrease it. you have the option to use only the light detection instead of music. So the blue light on the transmitter will flash. Or you can have the blue light off and only the music on. Or you can have both.

we actually didn't even end up mounting it to the wall even though it's still super easy. We just sat them in the two places we felt we're going to catch what we wanted.

if you need this for your driveway or your backyard or inside your house in place of window sensors or whatever it's a great buy.

Very satisfied with this product!

The motion detectors were easy to install. The volume control is a plus since this was for our business.

Great buy for the price

So, we live out in the deep woods (lots of critters and wildlife) and I wanted something to alert me not only when someone enters my driveway, but when all the deer walk by and this does it and more. It was so easy to install as you can see in the pic, I used zip ties and attached it to a metal pole. It is very durable, we have had several days of high winds (super sensitive to the wind and tall grass around it) and lots of rain and its held up. I love all the different tones it makes and the volume adjustments. This is definitely I great purchase for the price.

We bought two of them and set up one one the patio, one on the front porch and one by the back door. Now we know when the delivery people arrive. No more little rascally squirrels can get near the house. The house and barn are filled with a melodic tone that we can change at will to alert us of any activity outside. Great tool to have. Get

Great product at an excellent price.

Had a little problem paring but 1byone customer service were excellent with their help. Hoping this will help to minimize the chances of theft of our catalytic converters.

Very easily installed

Very easy to install. Variety of alert sounds come I handy when you have multiple alarm systems. Good pick up range. Able to monitor both ends of the house with one unit. No one shows up to the house without me knowing that they have arrived.

Used for package delivery alerts.

Great item. I use it to alert me when a delivery has been dropped off on my porch because drivers don't use the doorbell. It also lets me know when the mail person comes.

It looks and feels cheap but it does a good job and I have it under a covered walkway so it's limited to the elements.

I gave it four stars mainly because the installation of the sensor has only one notch to hang it on a screw which makes it easy knock off if bumped or to steal.

Money well spent

Long driveway, like being alert of arrivals. Placed on a small post, very easy. Works well in very cold weather. (Had another brand that didn't. Very happy with purchase. Like having a backup. Worth the money.

Works great!

Great motion detector! They were easy to install and worked as expected. Comes with two motion sensors, so we were able to use one near the porch which helps alert us when packages get delivered and one near our side yard. Includes different sound and volume options.

Worth the cost!

Product works great. Motion detection is sensitive. I loved all the chime options, picked one for Christmas and a New Years one. I would recommend it.

Driveway Alarm/Motion Detector

This product is exactly what is advertised. Setup was almost "out of the box" easy. Detector works all the time anyone goes past the electric sensor including our "pet Roadrunner bird". This is a nice addition to my burglar alarm system which is definitely does not replace, but does compliment.
