Other brands COST- TO MUCH $$$$

Very LOUD and looks like a fancy sci-fi futuristic earpiece. The BASS inside is good and CLEAR and battery last 8hrs highly recommend you must BUY IT. And it saves you $MONEY$ from buying other brand ear clip-ons.

Good sound but poor fit means there's not enough volume

These would actually sound pretty good and easily be 5 stars if the speaker reached further towards my ear canal. As they are the speaker is not close enough to my ear canal to have sufficient volume. If I push the clips towards my canal more it gets much louder and sounds good, but without keeping my hand on them they just go back to where they were. The lack of sufficient volume means these are pretty useless outside of an extremely quiet environment.

The comfort is good enough, I think. They're not uncomfortable to wear, even for a decent amount of time. The battery life also seems good. A one or two hour listening session barely makes a dent.

I did notice something odd in that the "Acefast" logo is upside down when I wear the clips. I triple checked but I'm using the correct earpiece on the correct ear; the logo is simply upside down.

I could only recommend these if you have very small ears so that you can achieve useable volume levels.

Earbuds

They’re comfortable and barely noticeable when worn. The audio is clear for music and calls, easy to connect and the open design is practical. They work well for everyday use.

Light-weight, good sounding clip earbuds with an imperfect app.

These are excellent clip earbuds, they sound better that most all of the ones I've tried. I like how they fit and their controls are easier than some others. At least a single touch doesn't advance to the next song like on some others I have tried. The fit well and I barely feel them after hours of wear. The sound is deeper than other clip styles, and they are a bit chunkier than some, so that helps with the bass. I have yet to experience a clip pair that has any real thump, though, so they're not my go-to for listing to music. They are great for podcasts and audio books. The reason I didn't give them 5 starts is because the app is a little buggy. The buds start off with the "Outdoor Boost" turned on and the sound at that level, while good for noisy environments, is a bit distorted for average listening in a quiet environment. So the first thing I wanted to do was turn that off. But every time I start the app, it acts like I've never connected the buds to it at all. I will eventually find them and try to pair them to the app again, only for it to tell me they are already paired. Other than this minor issue, they are my favorite pair of open-ear headphones. They last me most all day listening periodically throughout the workday, and don't have an auto-off unless they are disconnected from their device for a long period. So I can wait with them on my ears while I work and then just give them two taps to start my book again. The case is very slim and lightweight. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing because it feels like there's no weight to them, so how much power could that battery actually hold? But the case keeps the buds charged and ready, and I just try to remember to charge the case every three days or so. Overall, they are well-made and great sounding.

ACEFAST AceClip Pro Open-Ear Clip-On Earbuds

I really like these earbuds. They were super easy to connect to Bluetooth and are very comfortable to wear, even for longer periods. I love the clip-on design because it feels secure without putting pressure in my ears. The sound quality is surprisingly good for the price — clear, full, and loud enough for walking or commuting. Overall, they’re easy to use, comfortable, and a great value. Long battery life.

Open ear comfort and good Sound - with some caveats

I own many pairs of Bluetooth earbuds and headphones, including several with a similar design to the ACEFAST AceClip Pro. This open-ear, behind-the-ear clip style is fairly popular, and I find it to be very comfortable—even for extended wear. What sets these apart from other clip-on earbuds is the volume. They get really loud, so use caution.

The Good

- **Sound quality**: Clear and enjoyable for podcasts, audiobooks, and music.

- **Comfort**: Lightweight and easy to wear for hours without discomfort.

- **Battery life**: Very good; I was able to use them for many hours on a single charge.

- **Case design**: Slim and portable, with a built-in battery that holds a solid charge.

- ** The mic is VERY good. I made several phone calls and was told that the audio quality was perfect.

*Note*: Because they are open-ear, bass response is minimal compared to in-ear models. That’s expected with this design.

The Not-So-Good

- **Controls**: The touch controls on the earbuds barely work.

- **App**: The companion app is disappointing, with stripped-down functionality compared to competitors. The equalizer works okay, but since the touch controls are unreliable, I can’t comment much on tap-based features.

It’s possible future firmware updates could improve the controls and app, but as of now, you’ll need to rely on your device for volume and playback control.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for comfortable, loud, open-ear earbuds with long battery life, the AceClip Pro delivers. However, if reliable touch controls and a robust app are important to you, these may fall short until updates improve the experience.

Nice clip option, bit of an odd shape

Continuing my obsession with earbuds, and more recently clips, these ACEFAST AceClip Pros do a decent job of serving well. They are a bit of an odd size, I presume to jam a larger battery for longer battery life, and larger drivers for more sound profiles and volume. But charging and connecting was straightforward (I had to link them to a PC for a while at one point, then to my phone, and both were easy as expected.

The case is slick without being too slippery, but the charging port is in a bit of a weird spot leaving it at an angle when trying to charge. The profile of the case is slim and very easy to slip into a pocket.

Audio quality is fine, and battery life seems long (I have yet to have them run down, even when accidentally let playing on them all night).

Overall, they're decent. Nothing too amazing given the price and other options in a similar price point, but if the look or brand is good for you, they're a fair option.

Unique design that WORKS!

I like these earbuds because they leave my ears open to hear what is going on around me - have up to 28 hrs of use per charge - have a charging case - come with a USB C cable for charging - have an IOS app that gives me some much control over the tone like outdoor boost, shows charge level in each earbud, Subwoofer, show button selections, a game mode, a shutdown timer, a find earbud selection, and a product manual. Complete control through this app.

But best of all is the fantastic sound quality - one of the very best I have heard.

Comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The clip design is secure - will NOT fall off!

Highly recommend these earbuds.

Solid pair of "open" ear buds

Having owned many in-ear bluetooth ear buds, I was excited to try out a pair of “open ear” buds.

My first impressions are very positive. The package is almost completely plastic free - most of it is paperboard - a trend that I love seeing more companies starting to do.

While the charging case is a bit on the wide side, I really like that it’s extremely sleek and easy to slip into my pocket. The pairing process was easy to do and once paired to my phone, it reconnects quickly & easily. Both the headphones & the case feel well made.

I wore these for the better part of a day when I tested them. Thankfully, they are extremely lightweight (as advertised) and therefore, very comfortable. My ears were not sore AT ALL & they never felt like they were about to fall out of my ears. I got about 6 hours out of them before was the battery was almost dead. While that’s lower than the advertised 7 hours between charges, I did use them with “outdoor mode” enabled the whole time.

Audio quality was… OK. I’m not expecting to get high fidelity sound out of a $40 pair of headphones, let alone open ear ones from a lesser known name brand ( sorry, “Acefast” ! ), these were just alright. For casual listening of music or podcasts, these were adequate.

I would advise users to download the companion app, as you’ll be able to tweak a few settings. In addition to equalizer settings, you’ll get a “find my earbud” mode that emits a high pitched series of beeps that help you locate a misplaced bud. The other setting I played around with almost immediately was “button” settings. These buds do NOT have a physical button on them. They have a touch setting instead. This is simultaneously a great & terrible feature. Great because you can adjust double & triple tap settings on each bud (see app screenshots)... but terrible because the double tap setting is way too sensitive! These buds do not pause your media when you take them off your ears… so if you pause whatever you're playing and take off your bud, you might accidentally resume the media you're playing as the buds register a double tap inadvertently. Look at the item’s listing -> nearly the entire bud can accept a touch input. Maybe that was a great idea when these buds were being developed, it’s bad in real life use because it’s way too sensitive.

I went ahead & disabled the double tap input for both ears and currently only utilize the triple tap option, as I’ve found this to be a more deliberate input.

Also, I’d recommend turning on “touch feedback sound” as I’ve always felt that touch inputs on headphones are hit or miss, this product included.

Acefast may not be a household name but if you find that these $40 are cheapest open ear buds, these are a great option for you.

Almost perfect

The packaging is really well done, the headphone case is visually appealling, has a satisfying snap when it opens and closes. The headphones themselves clip onto your ear, takes a second to get used to, but then is comfortable for longer wear.

Tested these for work calls connected to a macbook pro, listening to music (ranged from classical, blues, pop, latin) and a podcast connected to my phone.

It was excellent for work calls. Coworkers said my voice sounded clear and crisp, no different than the MBP mic. The sound for their voices was clear as well.

The sound quality was strong for podcasts, but with music, it had a harder time separating the channels, so the end result was some songs were a little muffled vs my other, more expensive headphones.

That's the point though, for the cost, these are very well done, visually appealing, and and provide a solid value. Five starts for packaging, appearance, ease of setup, battery life, but four stars to be honest about sound performance - which is good, not perfect.

More comfortable than typical earbuds....

I wasn't sure what to expect with how these are ment to stay on your ear....but I'm not a fan of other ear buds and shoving them in my ear, and them being wax covered and inside the silicone part. Ew!

They set in ear partially, and I can hear my surroundings, but not word for word or every noise...just enough to feel ok using them around so I can hear someone if needed....like someone knocking on my door, or a car driving by when walking. I do keep the volume low enough to hear these things as well. But I wouldn't go late night running with them and feel ok about doing so....mostly because I dont run. If you see me running you better too!! But also because I wouldn't want to have anything blocking being fully able to hear while out and about late at night.

These stay in remarkably well. I do house cleaning and they have no problems staying in while bustling around. I've bumped them several times and they stayed in.

They were easy to connect/pair to my android phone. If only one bud connects i put them back in the case, and try to take them out at the same time since they pair super fast! None of my other earbuds have paired that quickly after taking them out of the case.

They are pretty comfortable in/on my ear, but I do still feel them there....which I do like, so that I know if one was to somehow come out, I'd notice.

Battery....well I haven't had to charge them yet since getting them. I've used them for listening to music while cleaning about 5 or 6 hours worth, and I've had several phone calls probably 3 hours worth, and I've watched some YouTube videos with them 2 or 3 hours with. Haven't needed to charge them yet...and thats on the charge it came out of the box with!

I did drop them a few times on the tile floor and they are still working/no noticeable damages. Seems to be good quality!

Better Than Expected from an Open Ear Design

These earbuds are amazing! Especially compared to my bone conduction headphones. Waaay more bass and fullness to the sound. They also get plenty loud and can overpower some pretty significant ambient noise. But you still get the open air advantages of the bone conduction type headphones. The only downside to the design is that people near you can definitely hear what you’re playing. They slip right onto my ear and stay there even when moving around. They don’t pinch and I forget I’m wearing them. My wife has very small ears and they fit her as well. I am deducting a star for the app though. It’s terrible! Multiple menu items are misspelled and some of them don’t seem to even do anything. It’s all very janky and it just has one star in the App Store. Fortunately you don’t need the app for these earbuds to work perfectly. I also love that the L/R markings are very clear and color coded.

The Great

Clip On Ear Buds

Good ear buds. The audio quality is great!(for earbuds) the bass has a distinct deeper sound and the treble does not peak within normal volumes.

The ear buds "clip" onto my ear. Their hold feels solid. I am not worried about them coming off. They sit lower on my ear than in the product photos. But feel comfortable. The weight is badly noticeable when the earbuds have been fit over my ear for a while. They feel like they are one size fits all. Plenty of room but does not seem like it will come off.

The "button" on the back of the earbuds is just a touch area so you tap the earbud and hope you got the right place. That make it difficult to interact with.

There is a little problem that sometimes, for a few seconds, the two earbuds get out of sync by half a second and then goes back into sync. It is a little annoying.

Sounds Great

These clip-on open-ear earbuds are comfortable, lightweight feel that stays put without pressing on the ear. The larger drivers give the sound a fuller tone, and the open design keeps you aware of your surroundings, which is great for walking or working outside. The call quality is clear with the AI noise control doing a steady job of cutting background sounds. The controls respond easily and the app adds a few useful tweaks without being complicated. The battery life holds up well across the day. Compared with similar open-ear styles I have seen in electronics stores, this pair comes in at a lower price with same level of comfort and performance.

I recommend this product.

A budget open ear that cuts some corners

Comfortable in the ear, if not a little positional. Could easily wear them all day without issue. Functionality, the touch controls don't really work consistent enough to be worthwhile, I ended up just turning it off and will use my phone. The sound is about average for an open ear. The option for an outdoor volume boost is nice, but it also distorts the sound a bit too much for my liking. I purchased thrm on sale and I think that price was worth it, but had it not been on sale I would probably be disappointed. I am not sure if mine came with poor QC, or of it is intentional, but the logo on either earbud is upside down when I am wearing them. The picture on the box shows a correct orientation, but also looks like the text is different. If you have small ears, these probably won't work for you .

It's All There BUT In An Odd Form Factor

This is now the second pair of clip-on style open-ear earbuds that I have tried. They have punchy controlled sound in a convenient sized package but lack some quality of life and obvious physical features.

The Sound: They sound great with the app! By default, these headphones have a setting on that can only be turned off using the app and it makes them sound TERRIBLE. The "outdoor boost" mode should immediately be turned off. It cranks the bass and high end making a muddy distorted mess. The default "original sound" profile is very good and I would bet that most would have no issue with it. I found no distortion on any specific instruments or frequencies. I however did tun the high end up a bit just to grab a bit more detail in the treble. With that small change they honestly sound fantastic. Only real issue here is that the soundstage is a bit narrow - so the instrument separation is lacking and these will not be good for gaming.

The App: It's easy to use, download, and doesn't require an account. You can also change the quick-tap shortcuts for each bud in the app. All good things!

Build Quality: These are built very well. Solid plastc on the buds and the case. They don't feel fragile. Solid feeling without being too heavy to wear.

Features: While not the most feature packed headphones on the market, they get the job done with some WEIRD quirks. For one, there are NO PHYSICAL BUTTONS. Quite simply, this is a huge disappointment and the largest con for me. Accidentally pausing or skipping songs when adjusting or taking out the headphones is a consistent issue. The charging case also works well - no issues with actually charging. When they are just sitting in my ears getting used however, I have no issues.

Design: They are just odd. The part of the headphone that holds the driver is straight up too long for my ears and it sits very awkwardly on no matter where I move it to. It makes these look huge. The speaker grill is also in an extremely odd location. Rather than being at the end of the bean-shaped housing near the ear canal, they are right in the middle. This results in needing to turn up the volume an extra 10-20% in order to hear more. As for the logo on these... Oh boy. When they charge in the charging case, obvioiusly the pins sit downward in the case. When charging the logo is right side up. However the correct way to wear these earbuds is ACTUALLY with the pins facing up and therefore the logo is upside down. It's definitely a pet peeve (that I double checked with a left-right test) but it is mildy infuriating.

Overall, these headphones deliver extremely solid sound quality at a good price at the cost of some odd design choices. If you can live with the oddities of the design, I can recommend these headphones. If you prefer physical buttons and a more cohesive design... you should look somewhere else.

Lightweight and easy to carry

I received these Acefast Aceclip open ear earbuds. These are the style that clips on the back of the ear. I particularly like the case these come in because it is quite slim. The small size makes it easy to throw in a pocket or bag. Pairing was easy; they paired right away once i removed the plastic covering the connections. They have a pretty big sound with good bass; i think this comes from the larger drivers. I also find them very lightweight and i can barely feel them on my ears. A good value.

Mickey O'Neill

Poor sound. Great looks.

I really wanted to like these, especially because the design looks great, but the sound quality just isn’t there. I own other open-ear earbuds with solid audio performance, so I had a good point of comparison — and these fall short right away. The sound is very thin, almost metallic, and there’s basically no bass at all. For music, the experience is pretty disappointing.

On the positive side, the price is lower than premium models, and the build itself looks high-quality. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and the clip-on design is stylish. But unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. The audio simply doesn’t match the appearance, and for earbuds, that’s the one thing that really matters.

Overall, I’d call these a 3-star product at best. They’re inexpensive and they look nice, but the performance isn’t close to what I expected. If sound quality is important to you, I’d look elsewhere — there are other open-ear options that deliver much better audio for around the same price.

Great for workouts and calls, but not for bass lovers

I’ve been using these AceClip Pro earbuds for a bit and you’ll probably love them if you want something light, comfy, and secure. They clip on with soft silicone and that bendy titanium wire so they never budge, even when you’re running or sweating through a workout. The open-ear design keeps things breathable and still gives you clear sound for podcasts and everyday music. Calls sound clean on both ends too. You also get a long battery life and the whole tap-anywhere control setup is super easy to use. Just know this up front: if you like heavy bass, you might be disappointed because the sound can get muddy and a little staticky when things get low and loud. But for casual listening and active use, they’re solid.

Amazed by the sound and design

I really didn't know what to expect from these. I purchased them for their potential in being more secure while exercising as my current ear buds tend to fall out. When I first put them on, I didn't realize that they don't actually go into the ear canal. They clip around your ear and there is a gap between the ear bud and your ear canal.

I was anticipating really bad sound, but when I played music through them it was a very full sound.

They look really nice, and feel really nice. They are great quality for the price, as they just generally look, feel, and sound very high-end.

Not going into the ear canal does add the benefit of being able to hear what's going around you, which is arguably a good thing in a public place. With that being said, if you're looking for a set of headphones with noise cancelling capabilities, these are not a good choice. I do believe they will be my go-to ear buds for the gym though, I've really grown to like these.
