Fantastic!
The image quality is great for meetings and videos. No issues with weird lighting or shadows. Sits perfectly fine on top of super thin monitors

Acer Full HD USB Streaming 2MP Webcam, ACR 100, is a plug and play webcam that works the way that I hoped it would.
I got this to replace the Acer QHD webcam that has a great video picture but a very poor microphone. I decided to go with Acer again because I have been mostly pleased with their devices and I hoped that the ACR 100 webcam would have an improved sound.
The sound on this webcam comes through clearly without any distracting type of static. I am happy with this upgrade. Now the other party can hear me without asking me to repeat things numerous times.
The picture quality is good and I know that I don’t want to sacrifice audio quality for a higher picture quality. The point of a webcam is to have good communication so both audio and visual are equally important elements.
I also like the fact that there is a simple cap cover rather than a slide bar. It’s easy to see at a glance when the lens is covered. There is also a choice of photo resolution and aspect ratio. This camera can also be used to scan documents and read QR codes.
Overall, this Acer FHD, ACR 100, is a good choice for a reliable webcam that lets one communicate effectively on video calls, etc. It is a definite improvement over the Acer QHD microphone and I am glad that I upgraded to this one.

This webcam functions well. The camera has a 1920x1080 resolution, and the video image looks excellent. The microphone works perfectly. I asked the other party at one meeting. He can hear me clearly. I use this webcam with a mini Windows 11 PC. It was able to find the driver by itself. I have no problem with its functions. However, the product design is dull. My old Logitech looks more stylish. Furthermore, the lens cap is a separate piece of rubber. I bet users will misplace it soon.

My oldest child recently started college online, and since these are accredited classes, the exams are proctored. I picked the Acer camera as the price seems reasonable, and it is a brand I am familiar with.
We ended up testing the camera sooner than we planned as my middle child had an impromptu Zoom meeting come up. I was a bit worried about how the setup would go but was pleasantly surprised that this was truly a plug-and-play with no drivers needing to be installed. We had it up and running immediately. At first, I was hoping for a crisper image, but we all agreed the smooth look it gave us, was more pleasant, like a built-in photo filter! Either way, this camera is superior to my lousy built-in laptop camera.
The first thing my middle child said after coming out of their Zoom meeting was how our webcam was the best one being used – so a win there!

This camera is easy to set up. You can either clip it to your monitor or sit it on your desk. Then plug in and use. It is great for Google meetings. I recently used it to record a short introductory video for a college course. The picture quality is fantastic, it is sharp and clear. The microphone works well. I like that I can adjust the camera, tilt it. I wish it would have come with a cover that was somehow attached to the camera with a cord or something though as the cover is easy to misplace. Overall, great camera.

Review for : 'Acer' HD USB Streaming 2MP Webcam
When it comes to a 'Webcam', I prefer to stick to a name brand, and Acer is a name that I trust. This is basic webcam that is about as easy as you can get. Simply plug it into a USB port on your PC, and it should be recognized. On our Win10 laptop, Device Manager indicated it was a 'ACR100 USB Webcam" and Zoom also recognized it as the same thing.
We got this for the kid's schooling, and for that it should work great. The video and audio quality is excellent. I also have a Logitech 'C922 PRO HD STREAM WEBCAM' which costs over twice as much, but it is just too complicated for the kids to use. (You have to use the Logi, app, and then you need to use the software to zoom in and get the picture just right). With the Acer webcam 100, it just works. Easy Peasy. The privacy cover (rubber cap) does seem to be an afterthought, it is easier to just unplug the cam

I purchased the Acer Full HD USB Streaming 2MP Webcam | 1080P HD | 360° Rotation | Digital Microphone | Plug & Play for Desktop or Laptop PC | Stream for Zoom, Skype, Facetime, YouTube | Conference Calls & MS Teams webcam to set up and use at my place of business. I will often jump on to a video call with clients and sometimes post a live stream video to social media. This webcam allows me to do both and quite easily.
It is small, sits nicely on top of my (Acer) monitor and it was also pretty easy to set up and use…plug and play...and the picture quality is great too. I attached to this review a photo of myself that I had taken using the webcam along with a quick video I that I had shot. Everything looks great in my opinion. I should note that I’m sitting facing a small window where the afternoon light was shining in, and it was easy to send both the photo and video to my phone using Bluetooth and the camera app on my mini pc.
The only slightly negative thing I can say about this webcam is the cover. It doesn't attach to anything. My concern is that I'm going to take it off to use the webcam and set it some place and never find it again. Other than that, this webcam perfectly meets my small business needs. I’m quite happy with this purchase!

I got this camera to replace my other junky work one. So glad I did! This is one of the best webcams I have used, picture wise. Here are the things I like and don't like...
PROS
++ Excellent image quality
++ Very easy setup (plug and play) on Windows 11
++ Can sit on the desk. Doesn't need to clip to monitor
CONS
-- Lens cover works, but is janky. It is just a little silicon cap. I wish it were a flap that was attached to the camera body, like MANY other ones have. I see no reason why they couldn't have added it.
Overall, love this webcam. I don't see any reason I would have to use any other camera for working from home. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice webcam and it seems to work well. It includes an unneeded simple manual, a couple of warranty cards, and a push-on rubber privacy cover. The attached base can be used as a small stand on your desk and also can be opened and sits properly on the screen of a laptop or desktop. The base also includes a standard screw mount for use with a tripod or other mounting brace (which I consider a major plus). I also like that the camera itself can swivel and tilt on top of the base, making it even better suited for screen placement. The cord is of adequate length for most installations and installation was completely plug and play with no drivers necessary under Windows.
The camera was immediate recognized by Windows and the included Windows Camera app. The image quality was excellent at 1920x1080 and color reproduction was quite good with no noticeable over saturation. When used for a quick recording, audio was also captured properly and played back clearly.
After that, I also tested it for the application I am most likely to use it for: OctoPrint/OctoPi on a 3D printer. When connected to my Raspberry Pi, it was immediately recognized but only came up at 640x480 resolution with pillar boxing. To enable full screen all that was required was adding the appropriate camera_usb_options line ("-r 1920x1080 -f 30") to the octoprint.txt file in the boot folder and it worked perfectly after rebooting.

This is my new favorite webcam and what I use daily as my MS Teams camera for work. Everyone will have their own choice given their setup but this is mine.
Webcams are stuck with rather poor image quality with minimal differences between models and revisions. I have a cheap 'Aluratek' brand from BestBuy that could not handle me painting my wall navy. I also have the Logitech C922 which I have comparison shots of in my first image. The Logi camera has the exact same issue the Aluratek did though. It sees my dark wall and assumes its shadow, which causes the camera to boost the lighting and blow out my face when I have my key light turned on.
You can see the Logi camera that everyone says is the best definitely has better color (warmer) and I would say produces a sharper image overall. However, I have my desk against a wall so my down lighting does not really reach my face all that well. I built a custom faux window next to my monitors that I use to trick myself into thinking my office isn't in the basement and to illuminate my face.
The Acer camera, for whatever reason, does not auto expose my face into oblivion. With my front lighting off it certainly produces a darker image but with my light on (aside from the cooler color) it produces a much more pleasing image in my opinion. The fact that this camera has swivel and angle adjustment is a huge plus as well. The lens cover is a nice touch but not something I plan to use.
