Really nice mouse I recommend it for the price great tracking the 12,800 DPI is excellent for gaming hight speed shooters like call of duty and warzone no complaints RGB is bright and some cool modes

It's a good mouse.
There's four ready to go DPI settings. If you want more you have to get the software. I'm not sure who would want their mouse flying all over the screen at 12,800 DPI but that's an option.
One of the questions I had when I bought this was "can I see this mouse in a dark room"?
The sticker area and Acer logo light up, the answer is yes.
When I first got it I thought it was rough sliding.
Turns out the bottom of the mouse had almost invisible protective plastic to remove.

Very nice gaming mouse. Can’t beat the price for what you are getting.

A great mouse if you dont want to spend an arm and leg. Its perfect if you have large hands and very comfortable. You get some DPI pre sets, RGB lighting and really good ergonomics. The wire quality is threaded as you can see in the pictures I provided. On a side note you can give it custom RGB layout if you download the software on Acers official website or check the manual for a link. Over all a great budget gaming mouse 10/10

Just needed a gaming mouse to replace the one I have, seems ok.
Just wondering about the bottom, It's like Acer and China are taking a jab at California

Absolutely amazing! I love my new mouse! From the different RGB lighting it has, to the smooth mouse movement, the mouse feels a little heavy which makes it feel high quality! I am enjoying it so much!

se siente de muy buena calidad

Has mouse ghosting, which doesn't allow you to use the side buttons simultaneously while holding Left or Right click.
An okay mouse, but even a cheap $5 mouse doesn't have these issues, definitely switching back.

Needed a mouse with wire hookup for the computer, child enjoys it, constantly lighting up and stays light up when in use.

I had the original model from 2019 and this year I wanted something updated so I got this version and it’s perfect! Super comfy and works great! Big size but accommodates all hand sizes because of the shape, nice buttons and changes colors smoothly, good weight to it, easy to use and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The cord is braided too so that increases it’s longevity.

Everything about the mouse is pretty good except it's does not seem to be centered correctly and the right mouse button catches the lip of the center piece making it hard to press down. Not sure if I just got a defective one or if it's a design flaw but not one I'd recommend if it's a design flaw.
*Received a replacement and it has the same flaw so I would not recommend this mouse, specially for gaming.*

I love the way this mouse feels. My hands are small and its very comfortable. I love that it has the extra keys for mouse over game playing. It is a bit bright but you can switch that off if it bothers you. It is very high quality for the price!

I picked up this mouse for work. Love my job, but currently the facilities are a bit... Utilitarian. Thus, I currently must provide my own equipment, if I'd like to use more than a bare laptop on a conference table.
This won't always be the case, so I wanted to find something that was both enjoyable to use, and not monstrously expensive. This mouse fits both descriptions rather well, and if the company equipment ends up being the inevitable Basics 2 button and a wheel unit, I'll keep using this.
I really like thumb buttons. I know they started out as a bit of a gimmick, but in my opinion they have proven to be almost essential, even (or especially!) for work, where I map various useful macros to it.
The mouse is ergonomic in the hand, the buttons are responsive, and you can turn the RGB off if you are an elder millennial like me who is generally uncomfortable with bright colored lights on computer equipment. It does feel fairly light weight, but I am pretty sure that is desired in this day and age. Whether I am correct about that or not, it feels great to use.
For the price, I think this is a great deal, and I am very happy with it.

I have to start with that I’m not a gamer and have fairly small hands. Just wanted to give you an idea where my thoughts are coming from. My previous two mice were the Logitech M720 Triathalon and more recently the Logitech G203. Both mice were great and really fit my hands well. The Acer OMW317 has more of the ergonomic shape like the M720. Will the Acer be a good replacement? We shall see.
First of all, there’s a lot to like about the Acer OMW317 gaming mouse. Right off the bat, you’ll notice the aesthetics and RGB. It’s eye catching. There’s RGB lights on the top, back, right-side, and the scroll wheel. There are 12 RGB modes controlled by a simple button at the top of the mouse. Want just a cool looking mouse, look no further than the Acer OMW317.
Not only does it look great, the Acer OMW317 mouse has a lot of features that I’m sure gamers will appreciate. 1000Hz polling rate, 12,800 DPI sensor, and 8 programmable buttons. The DPI setting is easily changed at a click of a button and there’s 4 lights that gives you a visual of what setting you’re on. I can’t find any information on what type of sensor or switches the Acer uses, but they feel just fine. Also, while the skates don’t cover across the whole back or front, they are fairly large. Lots of surface to glide on.
Nothing is absolutely perfect so I’ll have to point out some issues that I had which is objective so you’ll have to decide. My fingers are short and stubby so the Acer is a little large for me. It probably is not considered a large mouse, but I’m coming from a Logitech G203 which is substantially smaller. Another issue that bothers me a little is that the cable, while braided, is a little on the stiff side. Lastly, the skates are decent, but I feel the Logitech G203 was a little smoother. Skates are nothing that can’t replace though, so it shouldn’t be a deal breaker.
Again, I’m your average computer user that doesn’t really play games that requires a high-quality gaming mouse. The Acer OMW317 is a great mouse for the average sized hand. It comes with a ton of features all at a great price point. While it may not be perfect for smaller hands, it can be for the average sized hand that uses a palm or claw grip.

My 9 year old loves this Acer gaming mouse, it's very responsive and have 8 programmable buttons. The RGB lighting has 12 modes and the design is comfortable. The quality is excellent and so far the performance is top tier.

This mouse is a very comfortable mouse to use, and reminds me of the g502 in overall dimension. The sensor is very accurate and the build quality feels great for the price. The size is larger than typical office mice but more comfortable. This is a wired mouse to it lends to higher polling rates without breaking the bank. Overall this mouse feels durable and the clicks are satisfying. I also like how you can disable the rgb manually.

This mouse feels great in hand, it’s durable, and quite comfortable too, with smooth and accurate tracking that never jumps all over the place. I really like the slightly wider size since it’s easier on my wrists than my other mouse I’ve been using. I’ve had carpal tunnel, and this design feels much better than a standard mouse, so hopefully it won’t come back again since it’s quite painful when it does.
The LED lighting is a nice bonus, and overall, it’s a great choice at a good value from a reputable company I’ve known since I was young. I’m glad I picked it up to replace my wireless mouse that was giving me trouble. I wish and hope they make a wireless version since the design and look of this mouse is truly awesome.

Confused with this mouse, has no Serial number and when you good the model it doesn’t pull up on many places.
Tried to go to the sketchy website to download the software to control the mouse and my computer determined it was a scammer site and blocked the site.
Contacted acer directly and they are looking into it. But as far as on acer website there isn’t any software for this.
Also just to clarify since these reviews clump different products together this is for
ACER GAMING MOUSE (wired) omw317
Lastly after playing some games I found that the led light on the bottom (the window area bottom left) seems to heat up and my palm ended up sweating.

The mouse works well. I am not using it for gaming but for work. One thing I would like is instead of the rapid fire button having this button drop the dpi to the lowest status. There is no weight increase or decrease. That is more of a personal preference than an issue. If you like rgb it does have a lot of different settings.
At the price point it is a good entry level mouse.

This mouse has been a solid upgrade for both gaming and work. The adjustable DPI presets are easy to switch on the fly, and I like having the option to push it all the way to 12,800 for precise control on a big screen. The programmable buttons are responsive and make a big difference for shortcuts in games and editing software. RGB lighting looks great and is easy to customize without being over the top. Tracking feels smooth and accurate, and the build quality is sturdy without being heavy. Overall, a comfortable, reliable wired mouse that handles gaming and everyday use equally well.

I purchased this mouse to replace my Razer RGB mouse and I actually like this one much better! You can toggle between a wide selection of colors and animations as well as change your DPI directly on the mouse. The buttons feel very responsive and the ergonomics of the mouse are great. Even long usage does not result in any discomfort or hand fatigue. Highly recommend!

Works exactly like you would think a gaming mouse should. Got some cool colors that can recycled through every color of the rainbow. It has side buttons and top buttons and a scroll button. And it has Center buttons below the scroll button. Basically all the buttons you could hope for in a gaming mouse. I think some games you'll have to go ahead and program the buttons but for my purposes I just need the two top buttons the scroll button and the side buttons.
It is very responsive, and in as much as it is wired there is absolutely no lag time. It works on a granite countertop with no mouse pad just fine. It feels like it's sturdy you should last a long time, but only time will tell. At the price they are asking this is a good deal. It looks cool it works perfectly, fits nicely in my hand, and it's a good price what more could you ask for in a gaming mouse?.
JImw
This is a wired gaming mouse with multiple programmable keys and RGB lighting. This type of mouse is intended to limit the lag when using a wireless mouse.
It's a nice looking if somewhat gaudy mouse. The lighting isn't too distracting and it's programmable as are all the functions if you install the Acer mouse software.
I found the mouse buttons not as easy to use as claimed, especially the right mouse button. It may be due to the size of my hand, but I found it difficult to use even to pull up a context menu. In game use it was fine, but I tend to use the same mouse for gaming and other purposes.
You may not have this issue, so your experience may vary from mine.

The Acer OMW317 is a right-handed, corded, LED “gaming” mouse with 6 user buttons, 2 additional buttons to control the mouse’s settings, a high polling rate (1KHz), a fine-grained max DPI of 6,400, and 3 low-friction feet. Contrary to the product description, both on this page and in the manual, the mouse itself weighs 3.7oz (105g) and the gross weight including the cord is 4.9oz (139g). The mouse’s LED backlight is RGB and can be easily customized to match the rest of your setup in color, pattern and intensity. There is also a small bank of status LEDs along the left trigger which make it easy to see where your DPI level is set at a quick glance, and this surface doubles as a bump guard in case you accidentally clip your keyboard with your mouse, preventing an accidental click. The user buttons are all well-placed, including the thumb trigger, so they’re easy to access when you want to, but placed in such a way you’re unlikely to hit them on accident. The same goes for the control buttons on top, which change the mouse’s LED and DPI settings. Other high-end mice use premium Japanese switches for their buttons, but this one neglects to mention what type of switches they’ve used, which is particularly important for the main left/right buttons. If a mouse is going to fail, it’s usually the main switches or the scroll wheel that fail first. Hopefully they’ve chosen switches with good precision and durability over time, but without knowing the specs, only time will tell. At least the OMW317 does come with a one-year warranty (Acer claims they’ll extend this to two years if you register) so, if it dies prematurely, you can hypothetically get it replaced.

cool gaming mouse. feels good in the hand. has a nice braided cable and solid usb-a connector. has multiple RGB modes and pairs well with a Nitro laptop. recommended.

Are you a serious gamer?
Most serious gamers swear by USB-A wired for the lowest latency.
This one also has a high DPI and a laser for faster reading.
And this one is put out by Acer, so you know it is good quality.
Just get this and thank me later.
