Delivered June 2 and it's August 9th and this is the state of it with very little use (it's been too hot). Damage started about 2 weeks in and has progressed from there.
This would probably get five stars for me if it was labeled and marketed as an indoor hammock. But it just doesn't hold up outside. Which is a shame because it really is a comfortable and cute chair.

This is our second one of these swings because after daily use it finally got a hole in it. We have had one in our daughter’s room for the past 7 years and it’s been the most used “toy” of anything she’s ever owned. Every child that comes over plays in this swing. It’s super comfortable, strong and supportive. You’ll need to be sure it’s hooked in a ceiling stud so it doesn’t crash down.

We are bigger folks and this hammock chair is super nice. Strong. We're over 250 & we fit great. I like this kind much better than the hammock chairs with holes. Those are not the most comfy, this one is very comfortable.

Ripped after using for one month, mostly by my 9 year old who weighs 60 pounds. Would not recommend.

Large- good quality- open and not super confining! I am 5’10 -190lb and this thing has AMPLE room in it- the bar is wider so you’re not super confined either- you can get your legs up in it very easily. 10/10 recommended- I looked at MANY and the large bar sold me-

I rarely review anything but I was just scrolling past my previous purchases and seeing this one I knew I needed to review it before I forgot. I bought this for my autistic adult child and he loves it and has spent the better part of a year in this hammock and swings half the day every day. It has held up to his heavy usage in his “hang out” room. The durability has amazed me. Awesome price for the quality. The whole stand fits in his room inside the house and it’s easy to move and looks great. Great job with this hammock chair!! Love it!

We actually just bought another swing and will install in the bedroom so the boys stop fighting over it! 😂

This was a very sturdy and attractive hammock chair! Our son is 275 pound and 6 foot and this chair and this chair was able to support him comfortably. I hung this chair in our carport in our front yard so that there was some seating for our son to hang out with our chickens. We put it up and take it down when not in use, and it easily stories in a patio box. It’s lightweight and easy to move around.
The hammock chair came with an installation and use manual, so it was easy to set up and took under 5 minutes. It came with all the necessary hardware. We decided to upgrade to a 360 swivel hanging hook as we have a lot of space to use it as a swing as well. The hardware is heavy weight and sturdy. The chair is nicely constructed and ours had a nice striped blue pattern. The rope was good quality and earthy.
Overall, I would recommend this hammock chair based on its quality and weight rating, construction and durability, and large size chair.

4.5 🌟! I’ve had one like it before (smaller), but ordered this one to have more room for my legs. I’m only 5’2 and have taken several naps in it over the past week! The large pocket is nice to be able told hold a phone, book, or water bottle (my Stanley fit including the handle) . I had an existing chain from a precious hammock chair, so this took me less than 5 minutes to unbox, assemble, and hang. The 1/2 ⭐️ deduction is only because a more breathable fabric would be ideal, but we’ll save that for a perfect world. Would definitely recommend!

This is a great hammock chair. I am a smidge taller than 5'5". With about 6 inches of spare fabric above my head, the edge of the hammock hits me mid-calf. I could get farther up in it and get support down to my ankles. By scrunching the fabric up before getting in it, you can change where your backside ends up. Lying in this thing is so comfortable. It hugs and supports without forcing me into weird positions.
We hung this chair under our deck. As a ginger, the sun and I don't get a long well, and our deck is tall, so it gives me shade and a sturdy place to hang the hammock. We used a 5 foot swing strap for attaching swings to trees to hang this so we didn't have to drill into the deck supports.
I put the hammock on the bar inside out. The pocket is on the outside for me because of that. I don't care enough to fix it, but if you want that pocket next to you on the inside, double check it before you put the top rope on. The top rope might look too short at first, but it stretches out.
Overall, I am enjoying my morning time in the hammock chair. I am in Missouri and it has been too hot to be out in the afternoon and way to muggy in the evening, but the breezes in the morning feel wonderful. You get good air movement because the back is the only part that really blocks airflow.
The only downside to the chair so far is that it deposited a fair bit of lint on my clothes. I assume that will go away with time.
I got the waterproof cover to go over it when it isn't in use. It is useful to keep the chair itself clean and dry. We have birds that like to nest under the deck, so it's not just rain I want to keep off of the hammock! I know myself well enough to know that I won't use the chair as much if I feel the need to clean it before each use.

As an occupational therapist I prefer this swing to many styles because it creates a compression/hug feeling due to its design, in addition to the calming or alerting sensory input possible. This was for my daughter but I’m 5’4” and outstretched, it supports from my head all the way to my ankles.
It was easy to assemble, a GREAT value, and functions beautifully with study construction. With an identified stud overhead it hung easily and it is neutral and beautiful. We also love the book pocket, so handy! Probably going to buy myself one!

Such a great addition to put under my tree but i started seeing rust almost 2 days after it rained. That's way to fast. I added some glue to see if it would some the rust a bit more but looks like if keeps coming. Dissapointed at the quality.

We love this hammock, it is very comfortable. Purchased in mid-May. Unfortunately the hook that attaches the chair unraveled in late July and it is now unusable because it is large enough to slip over the bar. I can't find a way to contact the seller and the return window has closed. I will be replacing it with another brand.

I ordered one of these hammocks a couple weeks ago and it’s so loved that we decided to get another and I am so disappointed to see that the sizing isn’t consistent. The new one is significantly smaller than our original one.

So, I just recently moved from an NYC apt to a house with a porch...and at first I got some rocking chairs with cushioned seats, and they're fine for an hour or so; but if you're like me and want to enjoy your outdoor spaces with a good book in comfort for HOURS, the cushioned rocking chair wasn't cutting it. I always liked the *idea* of a hanging swing seat, and at this price, I thought, why not? Let me tell you, it is now my favorite part of my house. I feel like I'm in the womb when I'm in there!!!! Especially if you pull your feet up inside, it's like a kind of sensory therapy; like a weighted blanket that's compressing you from underneath (not in a constricting way-- in a cradling way). It just feels incredible. I get in there with a book and the hours just FLY by. I'll probably end up sleeping in it at some point. I can't believe how much happiness I'm getting from something that was, relatively speaking, so cheap!!!!
It's definitely very sturdy-- I weigh 250 lbs & it's bolted to the roof of my porch (and my house was built in 1888!), and it doesn't shudder or creak or anything. It feels extremely solid. I've only had it a week, but already everyone who's come over & sat in it wants one. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate. GET IT.

I received this product and set it up taking extra precautions like hanging this in a 4x4 that is attached to roof trusses to make sure no extra stress was placed on this hammock. I am a little more than 300lbs and this thing says it’s rated for 500lbs. Set it up, everything was fine, and then I want to get out of it and the middle support bar cracked. Now it is useless to me and I can’t get a replacement until I order a new one and send this one back first which means I can’t use it for what I needed it for. Totally a waste.

I looked at hundreds of swing chairs for our firepit project and I am so glad I landed on these. High quality, large size, and beyond comfortable. Super easy to put together. I put a neck roll pillow form in the little carrying bag they came with to create matching pillows, too (I won't use the carrying bags).

Great hammock chair. Better since I added cushion. It keeps shape better and easier to relax in. I did have to order a strap to hand from tree which had a swivel connector.

First off I want to say… I absolutely love my chair…. It’s big, it comfy, it’s everything I expected it to be. However the bar seems to be rusting already and my husband just installed it on Feb 5th and today is Feb 16th. It is used as an outside swing. I hope this rusting doesn’t compromise the long lasting expectations that I have… so this may be a swing that goes inside when not being used. It’s worth that hassle… it’s a fantastic swing. I will end up getting more to make a seating area. Maybe there’s an anti rust grease or something I can put on it. ❤️❤️❤️

I almost returned this because it was too long for my C hanging chair stand. I discovered that if you flip it over on itself, it shortens the length. It's pretty comfortable except for cutting into my ankles slightly when I try to use it full length. But hey on the good side our Boston Terrier seems to really like it. (See pic) I'm mainly keeping it for her.

This swing is so comfy! Most importantly as a bigger girl I feel completely supported and safe. We did not buy one of the swing stands and instead went with a more stable way to hang it. The picture is of my senior Momma enjoying a evening on our deck.

Very well constructed and is made with durable fabric. Only issue I had was that the carbinator safety clip, was to large to work with the chain that was provided. I did purchase a 1000 lb weight capacity strap, that I used to hang the hammock chair, from a large limb in our shade tree. It's so comfortable and relaxing to sit in. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

When I opened it put it together hung it up love it but noticed there’s a small hole in the sea area I hope it does not get bigger or rip hopefully maybe they’ll see this review and send me a replacement that would be awesome
