Not sure if product is stale, ends are hard to get off .Totally not worth the price!

This is not worth the money and replacement is not an option. There is no instruction on how to use. Poorly made. Wanted to give no star!

Tara

Not worth the money

The blue and pink markers are dried up. The orange tip is frayed. Apart from that, the designs are okay. However, I think that if you're selling dual tipped markers, both sides should be working properly.

Fun Colors & Smooth Writing

I’m definitely a pen snob, so I’m a tough one to impress when it comes to pens and even tougher to get 5 stars from. That said, I actually enjoy these more than some other colored pens I’ve tried.

I really like the variety of colors, and they’re great for adding a little personality to my journals and calendar. They write smoothly and, most importantly, they don’t bleed through the paper, which is a huge plus for me.

They are dual-tipped, with one side being a writing tip and the other a rolling stamp. I’m not a huge fan of the stamp feature because it can be a little difficult to control and keep in a perfectly straight line, so I honestly don’t use that side very often.

I was also disappointed that one of the pens ironically my favorite color arrived with the writing tip dried out, even though the stamp portion still worked.

Overall, though, these are really fun pens with great colors and smooth writing. I’m enjoying using them and would definitely recommend them if you like colorful pens for journaling, planning, or calendars.

Bartika

Disappointing.

I really wanted to like these pens, especially because I bought them specifically for doodling on cards. Unfortunately, they didn’t quite live up to my expectations.

The box doesn’t close securely. The pens themselves write words reasonably well,

but using them for patterns and doodles is a different story. You have to hold the pen at a specific angle to get the intended pattern, and most patterns don’t come out clearly or consistently. To make some of the patterns look complete or even, you may have to go back over them again, which rather defeats the purpose of having such pens.

If you’re buying them primarily for creative doodling, I’d manage my expectations.

Disappointing

ink is light in pens and non existent in the orange pen! Should have been wary of the product quality - it was a good price, but a good price doesn’t mean it’s a good value…

Not worth the money

These are terrible. they do not write smooth or in a straight line. Many of the colors are barley visible when they do write. I don't usually do reviews, but this was a huge disappointment.

Cheap Garbage!

Garbage! Don’t waste your money. I bought these thinking they would be cute to use as highlighters for school and that even if they didn’t fit for that, they would still be cute to use in other ways. Nope! They don’t even make the advertised shapes. I used two different ones, just to be fair. They were hard to roll on the paper and when they did roll, it was inconsistent and skipped a lot. Boo!

Cute Idea - Low Quality

Unfortunately, about half of these are either damaged or dry. Cute idea though.

They’re neat but not amazing

If you’re not careful the ink doesn’t apply across the roller evenly leaving patchy application. The cap on one of my blue pens doesn’t seal so the cap just falls off and the fine tip came dried out already. But the variety is great and otherwise work well.

Becky

Would be good if I would use more often. I just didn't care for the consistency of the design.

Really cool concept but not consistent enough for me. See video.

Pattern dual tip pens not great

Not great. Some caps are loose others are so tight you can’t get them off. The colors are a let down and the lines are faint.

Excellent product.

Excellent product.

Design side not smooth

The design side is clunky and not smooth. Won’t be using that side at all, which is why I originally purchased them. The other side if like a felt tip which isn’t bad but the pen has to be at the right angle or the metal tip touches the paper, the felt isn’t long enough for me, and science I just got them, I’m not sure how they will do in the long run. I would not buy them again.

Take some getting use to

These are fun! However it takes some time to get used to the roller on the curve tip. This is a double sided pen with a fine tip as well. Very enjoyable once you get use to the accurate pressure to use on the roller side.

Kane

Dollar store quality

Some of the markets came broken on the stamp side (the rolling mechanism was broken and I got ink stains everywhere)

The rolling mechanism is poorly built and takes a lot of force to get a clean stamp-roll. If not it’s patchy. The pen side works fine though.

Great markers, stencils a disappointment

I tend to take a lot of notes and thought this would be nice to color code and underline in different colors and prints so certain notes stood out. It was a good attempt but these markers failed.

Both ends of each marker have a top. One end is for normal writing and the other for the stencil print. Writing is fine. It has a felt tip that writes with a smooth even finish. They don’t bleed too much so it works nicely for adult coloring books that have a lot of detail (as long as there are not pictures on both sides of the same page). The other end of the marker is for underlining in different stencil/pictures. A few are for a series of dotted lines and the rest have a picture that when you roll across the paper it is supposed to make a continuous print.

When I first received my order it was rough to roll the markers across the paper. I thought it was because they were new. I’ve now given it a couple weeks and I use the markers daily. The markers still wrote smoothly but the stencils are still very rough and hard to roll across the paper. You can’t even tell what kind of print some of them are supposed to make. I had high hopes for this because my notes are typically very organized and this could have really spruced them up but the stencil part was such a disappointment.

Bought for a stocking stuffer

Bought as a stocking stuffer. I like the fine tip pen part of this it writes very nice, it is like a marker tip so it does bleed through notebook paper.

The stamping portion is a little lighter.

The only thing I would change is that the stamping portion of the pen has the larger cap while the writing portion has the smaller cap that's more difficult to remove it.

Nice Color Variety

Shipping was super quick (next day). I love the color variety...not too many repetitive colors. One of my pen (yellow) tips doesn't work, but the "doodle" roller does work. You have to find the right pressure to get the roller color to come out consistently or else it will skip. Overall, fun to use as I take notes and get them to stand out.

Unreliable ink

I thought this would be a great idea for underlining instead of highlighting for a colorblind friend, but the ink is too uncertain and doesn't go in a straight line all the time. They re cute if you just are getting them for a child to play with, but otherwise the ink is not always a solid color (lots of gaps) and it often goes in a direction you don't want it to go.

So as a novelty, it's great. But for actual use....it's not the best.

Perfect for planners!

I read most of the reviews prior to purchasing was convinced I’d probably be returning these, but I love them! They are super useful for my planner especially with the little stamp ends.

The pens themselves are great and have been writing well with no issues. The stamps are adorable, albeit a little finicky at times. You can see it takes a second to really get going in the pics.

For value for money I did give it 4 stars because I don’t think we need two sets of very similar colors. I could’ve done without the darker orange color and would prefer a straight up red.

Fun idea

They are easy to use. Colors are fun. I've only 'played' with them today. I think I need more practice. Getting them in a straight line is harder on some than others. It pulls. The flowers and hearts are my favorite but they don't fully "ink-up".... the pattern only partially prints. As I said I might need more practice. I'll update as I use them more.

Arrived leaking! (And still leaking)

I immediately threw these away. Multiple of the underliner parts of the pens arrived busted and continued to leak everywhere. Stained my floor!!

MB Boston

Just ok

I bought these to use in my work notebooks and found them to be just ok. It’s hard to control the patterned ends and go in a straight line. Also, the ink isn’t very strong. The pen end works fine.

trippydooda

cute concept but poor execution

i was in love with the idea of these markers (pens?) and wanted them to work probably as well as the developers did, but alas. i included a bunch of pictures where you can see how:

1) it’s impossible to get these to go in a straight line

2) some of the more involved designs don’t transfer well

their saving grace is that on the other end there is a regular ol felt tip marker (pEN??) so it’s not a complete loss

i would say skip these ones bois, they ain’t it. or i just have the motor skills of a squirrel

Tristyn

Not the easiest to use

The ones that just draw a line are pretty cool. The ones that are supposed to draw flowers or hearts are really difficult to use; basically impossible to get an even line with the entire image stamped. Probably fun for a kid who’s young enough to not be worried about the line looking perfect?

De

Mostly. Cute and fun pens.

5 of the 9 pens work great. Leave the pattern exactly as you expect. 1 Heart pen is hit an miss. Sometimes works. And somtimes doesn't The 2 flower pattern. Are more miss than hit. Ya may get about 50% of the pattern about 50% of the time. . Not sure why. If it's a design flaw. An issue with getting ink onto the stamper. Or maybe it's me?. The yellow is fmdifficult to make out the patter. But that's more of a color choise. If you look closer you can see the pattern transfers well. They are difficult to make a straight line with, free handed.

Caps are very difficult to remove on the marker side!

All the markers work as shown, once the caps are off, with the exception of the Pink “Love Line and Line Double Headed Pen”. The roller must be off a bit, as the line is not straight, and a random heart center will glob up with ink. I tried using a toothpick to clear out what was in the center of one of the hearts, but it made no difference. Would prefer they all “glob”, or “do not glob”. It isn’t exactly as pictured, which sucks, because the heart one is the main reason I purchased these!

**UPDATE to REVIEW** I contacted Aechy customer service, and they immediately sent me out a full replacement pack of pens… expedited delivery, with no hassle or fuss. The pens in the replacement pack all work perfectly! VERY impressed with their customer service…Harold was great!

Great pens!

Easy to use- fun to play with. My daughter loved them!

fancy schmancy doodads!

these are fancy schmancy little doodads markers here! super colorful and fun to use; a little learning curve to get the hang of how to use "the curve marker". i bought both color sets and look forward to card- decorating and calendar highlighting with these aechy double headed porous pen curve markers.

Savoy Truffle

Fun, but not perfect

These markers are really fun! The colors are bright and bold, and the designs are cute. I like that the majority of the designs aren’t childish and are patterns like waves and dotted lines. They could make a fun addition to a journaling arsenal. Having said that, they’re not perfect. The roller for the designs wants to veer upwards or downwards, it’s really hard to make straight lines. These would probably be a nightmare for a perfectionist. If you’re someone who just likes to doodle or make cute notes, I could see these working out well. But if you’re looking for a reliable, uniform way of making a perfect pattern in a straight line, you’re going to waste a lot of paper getting to your end result.
