Only worked for a couple of months then failed. Melted itself and the plug housing. There was no easy customer service.
UPDATE: The company reached out to me and offered to repair/replace the damaged plug. They seemed genuinely concerned about what happened. They mentioned that they had made updates to their product. They were interested in making things right. They reimbursed and replaced the broken plug. I was impressed with their customer service and communication.

Love this charger, way better than my stock one. I have an equinox ev and I can say this has been excellent charger.
Installation was easy, instructions was easy to follow. The quality of the charger is very well made. You feel the cable is made to stand very well. Feels heavy duty.
It included a bag, and charger. I would have love to include the option for a 120v usage. Unfortunately I had to buy an extra cable to make it 120

I purchased an EV adapter several years ago that converts a 15-50 outlet to a 15-30, and it does not decrease the charging capability. I originally bought the adapter to work with a previous charger. Not all homes have the newest dryer plug terminals, and many people prefer not to install a permanent fixture that costs thousands of dollars and cannot be taken on road trips or visits to family.
The app functions very well; it is simple and straightforward. The design is solid, and this model is significantly lighter than my previous one, which also lacked app connectivity. Additionally, the app allows users to input their electric company's information to track real-time charging costs, which provides excellent backend detail.
I believe this model has been overlooked simply because it lacks a huge marketing buzz. My only critique is the cable length. My previous model had a heavy 30-foot cord, while this one is 25 feet and much lighter. The cord could benefit from an additional 5 feet. I would suggest adding a few dollars to the price to accommodate this, as the current price is definitely a good deal. The charger holds up to what is advertised based on my testing, with the exception of the adapter section. I highly recommend this as a reliable connector, having used it for the last five years without any issues.

I opened the charger and inspected everything. It looks well made and comes in a nice carrying case. The cable feels heavy, thick, and solid. The charger and connectors also feel durable.
I have not used it yet because I am still waiting to get my EV, but I am excited to test it once the vehicle arrives. My first impression is positive.

Works great, does what it says it will and charges my EV. I’m getting 5.87kw at 24 amps and that is all I need. Amps can be adjusted up or down via buttons on the device. I run it all night and it doesn’t get hot or barely even warm. Indicator light shows when car is connected and charging. The included app is free and shows basic information that is useful.

I have been using this charger to charge my car for more than a week. I was looking for Level2 charges earlier I used level 1 which was very slow, this is fast compared to to my old charger. The wire is long so easy to connect from a distance. WiFi comparable so easy to monitor from mobile. The features are good and so far so good.

Decent charger. Works as designed. I ended up returning it for the Grizzl-e mini charger (much more expensive). This is a 40 amp charger and I need all the speed and power I can for the GMC EV huge battery. Storage bag is a little flimsy. Otherwise good for the money.

Great, simple EVSE. The app is fairly straightforward and allows me to monitor when charging is done, the bracket for mounting is good, if a little basic, and it comes with a decent cord reel. I also love the amperage selector. I have this fed off a 60 amp subpanel and wanted to normally have it operate at 24 amps, but allow for me to "boost" to 32 when I know nothing on that circuit is doing anything and I need a little faster charging. All in all, very happy with this EVSE.

So far so good. Works like a charm and has a small footprint on the wall. Very easy app setup and able to start / stop charging from the smart life app. Only on day two but seems like a solid product for a much better price than other level 2 chargers. Easily charged my Genesis GV70 from 30% to 90% in 5 hours (overnight). I will update if anything goes wrong.

I had been using Tesla home charger for more than 4 years for my Tesla Y and 3 mostly charged home. It arrived late last night, with the feel of the materials really heavy, thick metal connectors and sturdy cable in solid built. It charged my Y flawlessly, quickly depleting my new-user concerns of over-heating, and with all the metrics on the display, one can easily monitor the charging process thru the App. It could have earned my 5-star rating should a Tesla adaptor be included in the package. Hopefully the manufacturer will take it into consideration.

Not a lot of features, but simple to use and works reliably.
We got this last year after getting a Chevy Blazer EV, and have been charging almost entirely using this charger since.
The app is easy to configure (I already had it installed from other smart home devices) and simple to use.
My one complaint is that it does not play well with initiating charging from the app, but that is 100% Chevy's software causing the friction - instead of scheduling charging through the app I just leave it on all the time and do the scheduling from the EV instead.

So I bought this charger because I recently purchased my first EV, a 2021 Chevy Bolt EV. I already had a 240V outlet in my garage for a welding machine I own. I bought an adapter for the outlet so I could use this charger and installed it in around 20 minutes with the help of a stud finder. It works surprisingly well! I was skeptical because of the low price but this is a decent level 2 EVSE, it charges the bolt at around 7 kw so my car has a full battery every day. I haven’t even needed to use public charging yet and I’m 2 weeks in. Definitely recommend if anyone is looking for a decent level 2 home charging station!!! It also comes with an app to monitor charging from anywhere and the cable is quite long!

I research a number of inexpensive 32A chargers and bought the Aimiler L2 because it had UL rating and most importantly a 3yr Warranty. The charger workers fine, but after 12 months the LED screen went wacky and it was virtually impossible to view properly all the digital numbers. Since I used the APP most of the time, the charger continued to work totally fine. , (see photo). I ended up using my iPhone as a viewing medium, but this was a pain.
They replied immediately!! With multiple follow up emails, and sent me a new L2 unit the next week !!! Surprised AF!!
Anyways just wanted to share that their customer support was top notch and I’m quite impressed with the company. Their customer support gets 5out of 5! But unfortunately can only give a 4 star due to the initial LED issue.

I installed the Aimiler 32 Amp/220 - 240 Volt Level 2 charger on 1/23/25. I purchased the 14-50 plug in version with a J1772 connector for my Chevy Bolt. I charge my car every night and the Aimiler charger has been absolutely flawless. In my opinion a Level 2 charger is a necessity because you can add 30ish miles an hour with a 32 Amp charger meaning I will always have a full charge every day its plugged in.
The charger includes everything needed for installation which basically includes the mount for the charger and the mount for the J1772 plug. Installation for both mounts took only a few minutes. Once those were installed it's simply a matter of putting the charger in the mount and plugging it into the outlet. When I leave the house I put the J1772 plug into the other mount on the wall so it's not laying on the ground.
I have been an EV owner since 2011 and and have purchased and used a few different brand chargers. The Aimiler charger is by far the best and let me tell you why;
1. Safety first! It is ETL Certified meaning it has undergone rigorous safety testing and meets industry standards. ETL is certified by Intertek which a globally recognized testing, inspection and certification company.
2. Quality! The 25 foot cable is thick, strong and durable. The charger has a smaller footprint than others I've owned but has the same quality feel and look.
3. Price! This is much less expensive than others I've owned and also comes with a 3 year warranty.
4. Basically plug and play. I plugged it into the 240 volt outlet and it was set to 32 Amp charging which is what I wanted. So all i had to do was plug the J1772 plug into my car and I was all set.
5. Nice storage bag for taking it with you when traveling.
6. Multiple other features including adjustable Amp charging from 16 amps to 32 amps based on your electrical requirements. You can also download the app and use delayed charging as well as numerous other options.
Would I recommend this charger? Yes became It installs quick and easy, is competitively priced, it is ETL Certified, has a 3 year warranty and has been very reliable.

Great portable charger. It’s good to have a spare just in case something happens to the factory one. Here’s the thing if you’re installing these yourself or having a friend install it, a licensed electrician while I already know this. Make sure you have the correct 14-50 plug. There are specific 14-50 EV plugs that are designed to work with these chargers they have better insulation and are slightly bigger closer to a 2 1/2 inch circle size versus the 2 inch that most of them are, Leviton, Hubble and there’s another company that I can’t remember off the top of my head that make them, not only the size difference and how big it is, but there is also an EV symbol on the plug so whether you install it or somebody else does make sure that that symbol is on the plug itself or you run the risk of melting the plug and possibly causing a fire. Do some research and make sure you use the correct wire.

I bought this Lvl 2 charger to pack in the frunk and charge my EV9 after long road trips to visit family. I plug it into an external 240V outlet on their shop and it's worked perfectly for me. I've had no charging interruptions while using it and it delivers a consistent 7.5kW of power, capable of recharging my Kia EV9's 100kWh battery overnight. It has support for connecting to it via an app to monitor and track metrics like power delivered and temperature. I especially appreciate that it uses a general purpose smart things app as opposed to some proprietary one-off app just for this charger. I've not been able to use it in inclement weather yet, so I can't vouch for it being weatherproof, but it's endured the cold just fine so far.

This is my second EVSE since I purchased my VW ID.4 in May, 2021. The first one worked fine until I dropped the handle. There was no external damage but the old unit started working intermittently. I decided a new one was needed. I am very glad that I had a Plug In socket rather than a hard wired connection which allowed me to change to the new unit very easily.
The AIMILER unit arrived in excellent condition and well packed. The mounting hardware is robust and holds the EVSE and the cable and handle neatly.
The handle stores very nicely in the mounting rack.
The handle connects firmly with the car connection point when I want to charge.
I purchased this unit in early August, 2024. I use it at least 3-4 times per week to charge my vehicle. No faults have been observed.
I can use the WI-FI connectivity feature to allow me to view the charging status on my phone under the SMARTLIFE app. Works well. I can also control some functions remotely such as stopping the charge.
Having now owned two different EVSE (chargers), I can say that this unit works well and has been reliable. The price is very attractive.

We decided on this EVSE for the used '22 Chevy Bolt EV we just got, for several reasons: 1) it was on our county's list of Energy Star rated, "smart" EVSEs eligible for a $500 rebate; 2) it was less expensive than more popular models but still highly rated; 3) it allows you to adjust the output current (to 24A, in our case); 4) it has the longest allowable cable (25 ft.); and 5) it has a long warranty period. We've had a very good experience with it so far, though we charge only about twice a week. It's been working great hooked up to our NeoCharge Smart Splitter, which is in turn hooked up to our 240V dryer outlet on the other side of our garage. When we need to charge, we open the garage entry door and run the cable through it---and through a magnetic thermal door curtain velcro'd on the bottom as well as the sides in order to keep bugs out and warm/cool air in. Works like a charm!

We have been very happy with our Aimiler Level 2 charger in the 2+ months we have used it. When plugged into the car, it immediately announces, "charging started," 1x, so you know it is charging (also I can tell in the car and on my Kia app). The charger self-adjusts when in use and the display, when plugged in (see photo), shows the voltage used, the amperage, how many kwh, and how long it took to charge. It takes on average 1 hr. 40 minutes to charge our 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV (charging it to 32 miles range each time). We have had no problems and I love the 25' cord, and the included mounting rack to wrap the cord when not in use. Since it is portable (unplugs from the wall easily) we are taking it with us on our road trip from TX to CO since the family we are staying with his a level 2 outlet in their garage. This charger is great, in general, and excellent for the price when compared to other chargers we considered/researched.

This Aimiler Level 2 EV charger works right out of the box. It comes with a charger unit holder, charging gun & cable holder with all the mounting hardware. Installation is simple, just plug the charger to the 240V NEMA 14-50 wall socket, and it is ready to use. See attached photo. I mainly use the Plug-and-Play mode even though I can control it using the App on the mobile phone. I plug the charger to my Prius Prime at night when the electricity rate is the lowest. In less the two hours, the Prius Prime is fully charged. My Tesla model 3 comes with an adapter that interfaces with this charging gun. I plug it to the Tesla before going to bed at night, the battery is fully charged in the morning. I always set the current at 32A as the Prius automatically uses 16A (maximum current for the Prius), and the Tesla would be charged at 32A. The best part is the 25 feet cable length. It is long enough to reach two cars without moving the car to get closer to the charge station.

UPDATE #2: the seller has contacted me and worked with me to resolve the issue - I received a full refund. The seller also spoke with me about future updates and improvements to the charger. The quality and customer service for this product are great, its just not fully compatible with my Jeep Wrangler 4xe (which is why the review is 4 stars and not 5).
UPDATE: this charger worked for 2 months, then it caused a malfunction with the charging system on my Jeep Wrangler 4xe. The jeep wouldn't take a charge and I had to bring it to the dealership to be fixed.
Just to be sure, I tried the charger immediately after getting the jeep back, and it would not charge the vehicle. I then tested the level 1 charger that came with the jeep and it worked. Based on this experience I CANNOT recommend this charger, and am very disappointed that it lasted just 2 months.
The charger is very heavy duty with a thick cable. It is plug and play - I literally plugged it in to the 14-50 plug and connected to my vehicle and it started charging. It took about 2 hours to completely charge the hybrid vehicle battery (which gets about 24 miles to a charge). I think I can change the amperage on the charger to make it charge faster, but haven't messed with any settings. It is also very easy to mount with the included wall mount - the mount screws into a wall or post and the charger slides into it. Happy customer so far.
