A Curious Case of the AT-03

The concept behind the AT-03 is undeniably appealing: a single pedal offering a spectrum of modulation effects. The idea of toggling between chorus, flanger, tremolo, and more, all within one compact unit, is a musician's dream.

See the attached video showing how the sound doesn't change. I try pushing the switch again during the middle of the video, in case that's what it needs, but with not indicator light or anything, who knows. I know that my power source is new. I'm using good Fender guitar cords for both the ins and outs.

However, my experience with this pedal, particularly when paired with my Stratocaster, has been perplexing. Despite adjusting the various knobs and settings, I've struggled to discern any significant sound differentiation. It's as if the promised symphony of effects remains elusive. I've even referred to the provided video, hoping to glean some insights, but the desired sonic variations remain stubbornly absent.

Other people seem to have it work for them... It's a curious case, indeed. Perhaps it's a matter of user error, or perhaps there's a specific nuance to unlocking the pedal's full potential. Nevertheless, the promise of a diverse modulation palette has yet to materialize in my setup. It feels a bit like having a book of blank pages; the potential is there, but the story remains unwritten.

Good Variety of Tones

This is a good addition to an affordaboard pedal setup. Multiple mudulations for a good price. The small, compact size is a bonus as space on a pedalboard tends to get limited.

The tones I use most are the Chorus, Rotary, and Ring as they give my clean tone a nice-full sound, each in their own way. Other mods like the tremolo are good, a few are just ok. The Low Bit is the only one I do not care for.

For the selections and price I find this to be a good pedal addition to my pedalboard.

Well Recommend, great, especially for the price.

The pedal offers excellent sound quality and is user-friendly, ideal for enhancing your guitar with some amazing effects. It's well-sized and has awesome control of speed and depth. It is built great for the price and it only takes a little while of messing around with it to get the hang of how to use it. The 11 different modes offer a good variety of different sounds.

Tiny but powerful electric guitar pedal.

This is a small guitar pedal with multiple functions built in. It is powered with a regular 9-volt battery or an external adapter, which is not included. There is a standard audio input on each side, one connecting to your guitar and the other to your amp. It has a unique digitalized foot switch that lacks the satisfying click of other pedals, but provides a very fast activation.

The pedal includes a flanger, vibrato, tremolo, as well as chorus and other effects built right in. There are also three dials for speed, depth, and control, as well as a serial and parallel button.

There are a lot of digital effects packed into this small, very lightweight pedal. The hardest part of using it would be keeping it on the ground flat and accessible to switch on and off. If you can do that however, this one box can replace multiple pedals and do it in a reliable, digital manner. This plus a few other personal favorite effects could be all you need for a diverse rig and unlimited sound! Truly a great pedal, reliable and expansive.
