.. Needed a chair and got the Throne! Use this every day for my guitar playing excercises it's fairly comfortable and definitely awesomely high or low to suit what need your at, for instance on days you spend many hours playing and your back isn't agreeing that's when you lower and lay back with the guitar facing you like a table 😂.. very sturdy for sure this thing isn't breaking unless of course you're overly set against breaking it which would obviously be your own darn fault. Broke
The pneumatic rod broke through the bottom while playing. I’m not a professional just a hobbyist. I would think that this is something that could have easily been prevented with a little bit better engineering. There’s no way for me to get it back and to place.

Very Solid Chair for the Money
This is a great chair. For those of you not wanting to spend money on a Roc n Soc, I get it. I have both of these side by side you can see the difference. In terms of just sitting on them both, they feel similar. I would say the Aklot is a tad firmer, and feels slightly less deep than the Roc. Comparing the backrests alone, the Roc is a winner since it’s bigger. Just my opinion. Where the Aklot falls behind simply comes down to the quality of parts underneath, the knobs, the type of black vinyl they use, etc. The rivets on the back look pretty sweet though. All this being said, they feel similar when sitting and it’ll be just fine. If you feel like you need the cream of the crop, go with Roc. Beware though, the lever that came on my Aklot does not work, and will be sending it back. I got a dud, unfortunately.

Comfortable, sturday, and easily adjustable.
I just received the Throne. Full disclosure, I am a bass player, not a drummer. First thing, this is built solid, sturdy, and stable. A friend has a Roc & Soc, and I get it, he is a drummer. I couldn't see paying that type of money for a seat I only use for practice a couple of hours a day. The throne for me is very comfortable, supports my back, and is priced right. It is more comfortable than some name-brand options at Guitar Center and costs less. The seat is like an alcatera leather fabric, so if you sweat a lot, you may want something with a different surface. With the gas shock, it does adjust easily.I will recommend this throne to friends. I had to sit on the stool to the left because the throne arrived a day late. It was a two-Alleve type of evening.
In the second pic, my Roscoe Classic Custom, 1979 Ibanez MC900, and my Fender P.

Good sturdy throne with QC issue
My only complaint is that although this appears to be brand new in original packaging-this plastic piece for the height adjustment lever just fell off after the first adjustment and looks all sorts of chewed up inside. It’s otherwise very comfortable and feels incredibly sturdy for the great price

Great throne AFTER you remove the cap!
Extremely comfortable, with a solid lift. But be aware that the tripod legs comes with a protective blue cap covering the white button that engages the gas lift. If you leave the cap on, the lift will not work. There’s no mention in the enclosed instructions to remove the blue cap. Once I removed it, all was fine.

$$ Best bang for your buck $$
Stylish and very comfortable, and also incredibly sturdy- I would consider this throne as good or better than any of the big brands out there, at a fraction of the cost! The hydraulic lift allows for easy adjustments when switching snares or moving between kits.

Very comfortable and stable solid sturdy
I honestly love this throne more than I’ve loved some very expensive namebrand thrones it’s very comfortable. Definitely gives you the ability to play as long as you want or as long as your body can keep up for us mid age guys lol only problem I have is that no longer adjust and I’ve only had it for a few months whatever the hydraulic is popped and liquid came out of the bottom of it and now I no longer has any attention so it doesn’t adjust. I figured I’d post a review and ask if anybody else has had the same problem so it would help with the warranty situation. Other than that I hope that their company is as good as their thrones because they’re awesome.

You’d think this would be more expensive!!
Really comfortable throne! Comparable to expensive well known name brand thrones, swivels easy, and big fan of the hydraulic lift, legs are sturdy and feet are wide and grippy so if you move a lot in your chair, it’s gonna stay put! The blue matches really well with my shell so as far as images go for colors, I’d say they are spot on. Great bang for the buck!

Very comfortable and quality product
Bought this seat to go with the drums that we bought of the same brand. It’s absolutely top-notch quality just like the drums. Super comfortable, no issues at all.

Very beautiful throne!!
I am a band director and our previous drummer’s throne would no longer lock in any upward position. We had a big performance in two days so after some research, I chose this throne. It was a plus that it was delivered overnight (with prime). My student was able to sit high enough and he said it was very comfortable. This drum throne offered choice of colors, and we picked the wine color, which was closest to our school colors. It was very sturdy and good quality. The back rest is removable. The hydraulic lift offers quick movement up and down without having to rotate the seat. I’m very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.

Great price meets quality.
TLDR: this throne punches way above its weight without sacrificing quality.
The throne arrived at my doorstep and I was a bit apprehensive because I wasn’t sure of what I would find. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the throne was built with quality commensurate to their much more expensive rivals.
The build quality of the base appears to be well designed and made. It feels sturdy and the range of motion is smooth yet controlled. The swivel is smooth and unimpeded by any quality or build issues. It feels like a drum throne should.
The base is built with heavy gauge, chrome plated, steel which passed the magnet test; except the bottom ring that connects the leg bracing to the base shaft. That part appears to be made of either aluminum or heavy duty plastic. If something breaks because of normal wear and tear, my bet is that part would be it. However, it appears to be sturdy, so I don’t expect to have issues with it in the near future. Overall I give the build quality a 9/10.
The seat is padded with firm foam at the base and soft padding at the top. The fabric appears to be quality, doesnt feel thin, and it looks like it will hold up to my intended light to medium duty wear and tear. Only time will tell if the fabric and synthetic leather will hold up.
The color, well that is what caught my eye, and it meets and exceeds the vibrancy found in the product photos. Beautiful.
This throne isn’t going on the road to be used while gigging, it will solely be used for at home practice. All in all, I’m pretty happy with this purchase. I didn’t want to spend double for a name brand, I just hope it lives up to my initial subjective assessment.
If you are in the market for an affordable throne, aren’t interested in buying a name brand, and want something that is well made, this throne should suit your needs.

Super comfortable drum throne!
I have been very happy with this drum throne! It is super comfortable & the seat itself is so much bigger than the one I have been using for years. Also, the price for this item was half of what you would pay for the Roc-N-Soc. I would definitely recommend it!

Quick height adjustment. On the stiffer side.
Overall its a solid drum throne. I love hydraulic thrones since they are super easy to adjust and find the perfect height. The lower legs are nice and heavy and feel solid. The gas cylinder is very responsive and goes up and down quickly. The hardware feels solid.
I found the throne cushion itself to be a bit stiff and hurt my tailbone after playing for about an hour. Even though it does have a slight bounce from being a hydraulic throne, that still didn't help the stiffness. Perhaps overtime it will break in. If im drumming for hours I need my throne to support the workload. Im under 250 lbs. This throne does feel like it can hold much more weight.
The fabric is excellent! It's beautifully stitched and has a nice velvet look to it. It's super easy to use as its just 2 pieces, the seat and the legs. It really does feel like a solid contender for a hydraulic drum throne. If you like your drum stool on the stiffer side or you're just used to the standard circle leather seat, this would be an awesome, solid, and worthy upgrade. My current seat is the Ahead Spinal so I prefer a softer seat but this is a perfect backup throne. This would be great for those gigs that have a house kit. I can adjust the perfect height on this in seconds.

Hydraulic Throne Saddle Seat Blue
Super comfortable so far after using my portable hard seat for years. This is very cushy, well padded and comfortable. It has a thick lower base tube for the air piston. Easy to set up. The manufacturer recommends tapping the seat off after 2 to 3 days with a rubber mallet. I asked them why but had no response. I figure if I need to tap it off I can if I ever move it. The thinner upper tube is greased to up and down with the hydraulics so grabbing it is a sticky mess. I guess if you leave it set you could wipe the tube down. Great seat overall for the price especially.

Beautiful, Comfortable, Heavy-Duty Throne To Match My Kit
I love this throne! This throne is the same quality as Roc-N-Soc, but for less money. I like all the colors, but I got this blue one to match my transparent blue stained Pearl Session Custom Maple kit. The beautiful blue velvet/suede seat is soft and plush enough to play for hours with no butt pain or excessive sweat puddles, like happens with leather seats. The pieces are heavy-duty double braced steel, and they fit together easily for assembly. The gas piston seems solid and stays where it is set, and the throne is very sturdy with no seat wobble. The seat height can be adjusted from 16.7" to 22.5" with the gas lever, so it's good for younger/shorter or older/taller people. This throne is a jewel and a bargain. It completes my kit.

Fragile backrest
UPDATE: Company reached out and refunded me, upping the rating to reflect that
Leaned back on it once, ONCE— and the backrest snapped and tilted to one side. the way the backrest connects to the seat is extremely flimsy, and thanks to leverage it doesn’t take much weight to make the edge of the metal rod punch through the plastic shell around it, and once that happens it’s useless as a backrest.
I spent twice as much to get a throne with a backrest, so I’m pretty disappointed by the cheap construction

Very functional and comfortable but not light weight.
First the good features. The throne is comfortable and very sturdy. The adjustable height works very well and I am a larger person near but not yet over the 300 lb capacity. It also looks good. The picture is on my porch for better lighting. However there might be some aluminum parts, but it seems heavier than my other two Gibraltar thrones. But the other great features more than out weigh the one knock.

Comfortable for big and tall people!!!👍
I'm just a tad over 250 lb and this throne is excellent I don't think I really needed the back support but one thing that I really appreciate is I can be going hard for several sets and by the end of the night that drum thrown has not dropped down at all. It does have the gas shock so it allows for a little bit of bounce movement but it's very well calibrated so The rebound feels natural. As far as how warm the rear end gets while performing is a bit complicated It really depends on the venue. If you are in a well-ventilated temperature controlled facility For example an indoor venue absolutely no noticeable rear end heat that was increased due to the throne itself. I feel that this has also reduced fatigue as well. I absolutely do not mean to sound crude for this suggestion, I feel like there should be an optional throne cut so if you are of male genetics instead of having an increase in the throne a nice pocket of decrease would be off the chain straight up excellence because that is an area that with a lot of movement side to side face it percussion well it is labor intensive again depending on the venue. I feel this was worth every penny, I feel that the functionality has surpassed my expectations, just add an optional recessed area near the groin of a male genitalia in relation to the design of the throne please for the love of God please! Oh I almost forgot to mention for the people who have large muscular thighs the cut out design on this throne allows for very nice movement no numbness or tingling after many hours and like I said it's decreased fatigue.

Decent “firm” roc n Soc replacement.
Look, roc n soc is the industry standard. But at 225 new, you could buy a new crash or something else if you spend less on the throne. Is this good? Yes. It’s pretty good. I’m 235 lbs and it feels solid. The roc and soc probably is better, but I play drums in short intervals anyway. I don’t need a perfect seat. Will try to update if I have any problems
