Nice DJ set to start

This DJ pad is amazing. I got this for my boyfriend because he said he wanted to start DJing and it's very easy to learn it comes app you can download on your MacBook or your iPad. It's very easy to connect. It's a nice size so you can just carry it with you in your bag. I would recommend. Love my boyfriend.

Light and Compact

This board is great for beginners. Both my partner and my children have been having a lot of fun with this. Easy to learn the basics of djing. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to learn or just want something simple to mix with. Very lightweight, you can carry this around with you.

Good starter set up - easy to learn and use

I recently started playing with the DDJ-FLX2 DJ controller, and overall it's been a fun learning experience. It’s fairly simple to learn, even for someone like me who was brand new to DJing. The layout is intuitive, and the controls are clearly labeled, so you don’t feel overwhelmed trying to figure things out. Features like Smart CFX and Smart Fader make mixing easier, especially for beginners who are still getting used to transitioning between tracks and adding effects.

One of the biggest advantages is its compatibility. It works with multiple DJ applications and streaming services, which gives you a lot of flexibility depending on your preferred setup. I've used it with my laptop and smartphone, and both connections were smooth. The ability to stream music and integrate it directly into your mixes is a huge plus, especially if you don’t have a large music library to start with. The software/app is easy to set up on your phone and easy to use, but you will need to subscribe to a service.

It also plays music directly through your speakers and lets you monitor with headphones, which is great if you're just setting up a home studio or learning the basics. Despite being a beginner controller, it still feels solid and responsive enough for more serious practice or even small club gigs. The size is compact enough to be portable but large enough to give a professional feel.

Overall, I’d say this controller is an excellent choice for someone starting out or even for a club looking to set up a simple, reliable setup for guest DJs or events. It won’t overwhelm you with complexity, but it still offers enough features to keep you growing and learning as your skills improve.

Looks nice and it's small..

It looks nice and it looks like a DJ control board that has all the right and controls for a DJ you got loop you got pad FX you got sampler you got the two scratch boards I guess they're called. So it's got everything.

It doesn't feel very durable kind of lightweight and it's pretty small in size. Perfect for a beginner in my opinion.

I was just able to run it through my speakers cuz I was having a problem not it connecting to my Android phone, I even downloaded to the DJAY app as they said to but I'm still having problems connecting to that app to the system.

The directions are no help whatsoever it's just pictures and numbers.

But again it looks nice it has everything a DJ controller should have on it.

But right now it's not functioning very well for me and I can't even get the sound quality. So I'll come back and edit if I can get it up and going

Mostly good

Both my sons are really into music. Playing, recording, DJing, all that stuff. So thought this would be fun for them, and so far it is a hit. My 21 year old got it out, hooked up his phone via Bluetooth and started. 4 hours later he was still on it. When my 16 year old arrived home, the older shared with the younger how it worked, and he was on it for about 4 hours.

The price is very good, it is well built, light weight, works well and has lots of features. Sound quality was not great, but they didn't have all the cables they needed, so we're using the phone speaker connected via Bluetooth, which had a slight delay.

It is not a stand alone product. Ideally you input music from your computer or other device, and play it out of speakers. They also are using their phones with a common DJ application, using the board to control that program. The only complaint they had was that some of the buttons are loud, really click when pressed. It is a physical sound, so does not come through output, just the board clicks. Told me that if the volume on the music was up where it should be, you will not even hear them.

If you, or someone you know, is interested in DJing, this is a good board. Two channels, so if someone is really into it, they probably want something with more channels, and probably better quality and expense, but to start out, this is a great option.
