Amcrest AMC1080BC36-B 1080P Bullet Outdoor Security Camera

Spend more money and get real cameras.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CAMERA! I must have missed the FOV rating, but this tinker toy only has an 8' wide FOV! What good is something that narrow? No cameras should have less than a 150 degree FOV! (The bottom right photo shows my 4' wide basement steps and 4' wide deck steps). THAT'S THE ENTIRE FOV!!! And, if that's not bad enough, 3 of my 4 Amcrest cameras have quit working in less than 3 years! Notice that I have a purple house and a blue driveway? I DON'T! The only thing I like about them is that they are "plug & play". No smart phone or Alexa song & dance needed. I can't talk about the clarity because they're analog and they look like it.

Finally a CCTV Mount that is strong and pleasant to Install

I loved the Camera Mount on this little Camera. It was High Quality (not cheap or unreliable). The mount was easily adjusted, had plenty of strength to support the camera. The IR was very good and the picture was clear. The day I installed it I remember telling myself "This is my new favorite CCTV camera"

Worked for 6 months! Disappointed

Was happy with the product, but now after 6 months the night vision doesn’t work. Daytime still works fine but night is garbled or just a black screen.

Upgrade to 2M is worth it

My previous cameras were 720P and worked fine. These are 1080P(2M) and (as would be expected) have a much nicer image. Additionally, the newer 2M cameras seem remain in color mode with a significantly darker subject area.

The upper image is a 720P camera and is already in "night mode" while the lower image is the 1080P/2M camera and is still in color mode. The second screen grab is after I turned the porch light off and it still has a much crisper image (as expected).

The best part is that these higher resolution cameras are about the same price, or cheaper, as replacements for the older ones.

Good quality product

I have Amcrest security camera system 8CH 1080 from 2016. I am very satisfied with Amcrest products. Right now this new generation camera come out with cheaper and good quality. Love it.Amcrest Product is good quality. The seller Amcrest direct is very nice but technically support of Amcrest company is horrible. Call so many time but nobody answer. Anyway, I still support Amcrest because good quality product And nice seller

DOES NOT WORK AT NIGHT

Cameras works during day, they DO NOT work at night if you get bad ones like i did. M. at night the picture shows for 2 seconds(1st pic)then switches to blackout. Of the 7 bought 3 were junk. Returned 2 tossed one because I didn’t wanna mess with return ups store is 40 miles away. Cheap cameras. You get what u pay for
