Perfect hard cover book for 2nd grader

I've been looking for hard cover books for my grand daughter and found it here,for a reasonable price. I prefer these over paperback. She'll love this book as she's into Amelia Bedelia right now.

Won’t read again for 5 year old daughter

I didn’t love this book. My daughter starts K so I wanted to get something fun for her and I to read before she started her first day. Amelia Bedelia’s behavior, I wasn’t fond of reading. My daughter knows (hopefully) not to act that way. But when reading, “Amelia felt like flattening Clay’s frog.” Another classmate whole doing something creative in class. I just didn’t love it. I don’t want children thinking any negative thoughts while being excited about their first day of school. While the book’s pictures and things were nice, it wasn’t something I’ll read again to my daughter.
