Anpviz IPC-D3683WD-RB 4K PoE Turret Security Camera

Full Color Night Vision 🌙

Plug and play with hikvision acusense NVR

Quality Image. Easy setup

Decent camera that I ordered to add to my Unifi system. I initially set it up with the Anpviz app. Setup went pretty fast using the QR code on the camera. After creating the account the camera was ready to go. Picture quality is good. Audio is clear. Night vision is acceptable. I have zero complaints.

Excellent sound pickup and great daytime view

I installed this Anpviz 8MP PoE Camera, Strobe Red & Blue Light and Audio Alarm on the corner of my house replacing an 11 year old 3 megapixel camera. The daytime view is much better and slightly wider than my old camera. This camera also excels at picking up audio sounds better than other newer cameras I have. It also has a built in speaker which can sound a loud alarm. However compared to my other newer 8mp cameras, the nighttime view is not as good and the included IR lights and white lights are not very bright.

I was able to power this camera with POE and I ran a redundant 12v power line as if power was lost on POE, it would still keep recording to its onboard microSD card.

The built in webpage for setting up the camera looks very similar to a Hikvision camera I have making it easy for me to set up. It does allow many adjustments of settings. I have one issue where if I use the person, vehicle or pet detection, it will notify me via email hundreds of times within a very short time. Even it sensitivity is set very low. I found it was best if I use these features that are built into my recorder.

This camera has be running now for a month on my house and overall it does a good job. The recorded footage has been useful for me already.

Works well, even at night. Blue Iris compatible!

Sorry for the zoomed out image, it doesn't do justice to the camera quality. That said, it performs well in day and night settings. Setup is super simple, as Blue Iris found it as an RTSP stream right away. Not a whole lot else to say, really. It's a decent turret camera for the price and I expect it to hold up for probably about a decade in the semi sheltered area it's currently in under an eve.

Cutting edge technology, great price

Great overall 8MP POE camera, with crystal clear images.

Installation was super easy as it integrated seamlessly with my Anpviz NVR (true plug and play), I do appreciate that the camera also works with other brands of NVR / DVR.

I mostly appreciate the advanced active deterrent feature that triggers camera's alarm mechanism when the camera detects a possible intrusion. Due to the intrusion deterrent capability I installed the camera in an elevated positioned in my backyard so as to veer off possible intruders.

Pros:

- 1. Cutting edge Intrusion deterrent that lets possible intruder aware that he/shes is being watched

- 2. Enhanced vehicle and Human detection so eliminating false alarms

- 3. Clear and unhindered 2 way audio, allowing real-time 2 way communication

- 4. Exceptionally clear night-time picture quality

- 5. Strong and sturdy waterproof metal housing

- 6. SDcard storage capability

- 7. Professional and expensive look

Cons:

None to report, however the active deterrence capability would be more effective in a PTZ camera that has monitoring capabilities.

Conclusion:

Excellent cutting technology and very low price. This camera does well for one that would want to enhance their security system and to be proactive in deterring possible intrusions.
