I decided to buy this Antenna to replace the old one that fell in a storm. Total upgrade! the setup and installation instructions were easy to follow.
Minimal assembly required.
I aimed it in the direction of the the transmitter which is 50 miles away, plugged it into the back of the TV and did a rescan. I found 86 Channels!!
It picks up all the free-view channels.
Going this route save me quite a bit of money rather than hiring someone to replace the aerial.
All in all very pleased with this Antenna!

Apparently Omni-Directional means something different in other countries
Installation went well with the included hardware. I ended up putting on top of a 24’ tall mast made of 1” galvanized pipe braced against my house. Pretty clear line of sight in the direction of the TV towers more than 40 miles away. I used double insulated professional grade coax and very expensive end connectors.
But wait.
I installed with the saucer pointed north, in the direction of all the broadcast towers in the large cities to the north of me. I got abismal reception. However, the reception of signals to the south were pretty strong. I Had a friend crawl back up the ladder and rotate the saucer to point to the south and viola! I got many more stations to the north of me.
Now in my world (electronics & technology), it should have made absolutely no difference by moving the antenna to another direction since it is purported to be Omni-Directional.
FWIW, I tried an old amplified antenna from my camper and got pretty much the same reception.
I am disappointed in this as I feel I was sold something different than what was advertised..
The picture with the saucer on the left side of the mast is pointed due north. The other picture is after we moved it 180° to the south.

Put it on my roof and connected to my Dish Network receiver (not a very sensitive tuner). Got my locals and more from all directions.
The stand is very sturdy and lifts it just enough to get over my roof line.
