Great Product!!

I am extremely satisfied with my Aosu cameras. I now have 3 floodlight cams setup around my home's exterior. My entire home is well monitored thanks to Aosu.

Best cameras and best price!

I have two xameras now and I love them. They show a vlear video resolution (day and night). Simple and quick setup process. It has a 360 motion, the alerts sent right to your phone. It also has storage options (like a microSD card) so you can avoid monthly fees. We highly reccomend these cameras

Light is bright

Bad seals ruined the camera from rain. It should be made to handle rain....

Failed after just 24 months. Lets see if they stand being their product...

Questionable Weatherproofing

Not very weatherproof. Factor in replacing these every few years.

I bought 2 of these floodlight/cameras, a doorbell and 2 indoor cameras. I went with Aosu for all of these as they seemed affordable but still good quality and the main reason was that I could add SD cards to the cameras and not have to pay a monthly subscription like most of the other brands require.

One of these I installed above my garage which is fully exposed to the weather, the other in my backyard under the soffit overhang which is more protected.

I was happy for a year but ~15months in the garage lights started acting up randomly by not turning on. It would stop for a day or two but then work for a month. After a few more months the lights stopped completely. Reached out to customer care and they tried to troubleshoot it by having me power cycle it and ultimately remove it from my system, factory reset it and try to reconnect. That didn’t work and when up on the ladder I realized why, the lights were full of water! See picture. Of course at that point it’s out of warranty so they could only offer a discount on a replacement. The camera still worked so I left it up but it too has stopped working recently so I’m in the market again.

One night last summer the other light, that is protected under the soffit, didn’t work and I looked closely and those lights had condensation/moisture inside as well. I presume it was condensation since its not exposed to rain but I don’t really know how it got in there. Once it dried out it has been working since.

I have family members with Aosu brand solo cameras and they haven’t had any issues so the camera’s appear to be good. It seems like this issue may only be related to these floodlight combos.

I really liked the combo since I could control the lights from the app, but going forward I may go with separate lights and cameras.

A great Floodlight Camera - Sometimes strange things happen - yet, AOSU Support was Great

Purchased March 2025 - worked great for a long time. Worked great - amazing motion tracking, as I have rabbits living under my deck, sometimes they run across it and it would follow them. I bought this both for the tracking and picture quality after one day seeing the gate on the very back of my fenced in yard open - I have never opened it, and it opens to a local wooded in area, not easily accessed... I feel a lot safer with it now.

Then, sometime after August, forgot the day . . . one night, it was raining hard, just bright enough for the camera motion to detect it so I wanted to stop the 'motion notifications' - went into the app to disable it - but whoops, I clicked the wrong button and accidentally removed the camera from the app. Days later I attempted to re-add it, but it wouldn't add back in.

I called AOSU support, though I was working and could not try stuff for them. I forgot about it, and weeks later called again. I finally got assigned to Daisy - a support representative there. Daisy did her best to help and all attempts to re-add it kept failing. Simply, I am a nerd and thought only way it would block is if it was still in system. I wrote Daisy sharing the serial numbers in the app for all my devices, and asked them to check to see if my Floodlight serial number for my Floodlight was still in the system thus blocking being added again. Daisy replied and confirmed YES - the exact same serial number had been assigned to another unit, registered to a different email address belonging to someone else. My guess is some flaw in their system issued my serial number twice, or maybe saw it was deleted from my app and assumed I threw it away and reissued it to a new device, then someone else registered it - blocking me from re-adding it.

I believe my situation is unique, and found a flaw in their system or manufacturing? AOSU apologized and shipped me a replacement. Got it, was a bit difficult to replace when it was 15 degrees F outside, but I got the old one removed, and new one installed. Added easily into the application and has been working same as before.

Would pick 5 stars, lost a star because of the hassle, their fault for issuing the same # twice, resulting in my serial number going to someone else. I dropped to 4 stars as AOSU is an honorable company for sending me a replacement - even if it took so long... after all it was a 'new' bug they've never seen and I'm happy again!

My only advice for new users (and this could happen on any camera with motion sensing) - remember the motion sensor may send an Notification warning if it rains or snows hard, and then wake you up at 3am, 3:48am... My only advice - don't accidentally remove the camera from app - go into Settings and either disable notifications OR use the Notification time setting and re-enable when snow/rain is expected to stop.

Last fall I caught the rabbits running around the yard and deck many times :) Sadly, since I had to move the memory card to the new one, I never got the chance to download my wild rabbits... These photos are old camera, and new snowy morning... Now to hope for rabbits again :)

It’s Ok for a mid range Security Camera. See my video

I really wanted to love this camera, but the constant warnings that a person is in backyard are driving me bananas, not to mention that i can barely watch a video without errors.

It doesn’t know the difference between a person, a pool cleaners or a bamboo tree swinging with the wind, constant “people” warnings in my backyard, unless it’s detecting spirits.

In the video I don’t know if it thought that the bamboo was a person or the bug the flew by was a person. Very aggravating, also if the power goes down the camera stops as it has no battery. My google camera does a better job detection people from trees and animals.

I think they want you to upgrade.........

I was very pleased with this camera when I first purchased it. Now it won't stay online and it's only a year old. I bought a Wi-Fi extender in hopes that it would help. My connectivity obviously isn't the problem. The Wi-Fi extender performs at 100%. I can shut down the power to my house, remove the camera from my app, and start all over. It will connect for less than 12 hours and then it starts the same cycle all over again. Useless.

Amazing, professional level monitoring camera.

This is an excellent, professional quality camera! The camera detects movement and tracks it side to side, up and down as it records. This means it doesn't have to be a super wide-angle fish-eye type image. The image is not only super clear and high resolution, it is sharp enough to easily read license plates and recognize people. Also, this motion is disconcerting to potential thieves, as it indicates very clearly that they are being watched and recorded!

The range of detection is adjustable in 3 directions - straight ahead and each side. So I was able to set the sides for high sensitivity, but straight ahead not as sensitive so that it doesn't record every car going by on the street. Anyone walking along the sidewalks is recorded clearly.

Finally, the floodlights are super bright LEDs that really light up the driveway area beautifully. They are set to only turn on when the camera detects someone, and turn off after a few minutes.

The camera is designed to be mounted on a round light fixture junction box, so I mounted one of these and ran the cable into the garage. Electrician is recommended, but I was able to do it myself with some effort. I also sealed the J-box with caulk.

Night vision is nonexistent

The infrared on every single Auso camera is useless. Night time vision is about 5 feet away from the camera. So if you want a camera you can actually see at night time but a different brand. I literally bought every single one of these and am so disappointed.

Affordable Home Security

We were using another brand at our old house. When we bought a brew house we needed to buy new cameras. This brand has wonderful reviews. We were skeptical because of the affordable price, but took a chance. I’m very pleased with the quality! Surprisingly so much so that I have told my neighbors about this brand. No issues with WiFi, no lag, beautiful design, great bright white light for viewing at night/night vision enabled as well and exceptional value. We loved it so much that we bought another for the side yard and the front door. The app is extremely easy to use as well! No more expensive ‘name’ brand.

Great camera and customer service

We purchased this camera and our experience with it has been great. The quality is clear and the app is easy to use. After about 6 months the camera stopped rotating left in right. I contacted customer service and they tried to help configure and fix it via phone. After it wouldn’t work they ended up sending us a new one right away. The whole process was quick and easy. I definite recommend getting this.

Great product even better customer service!!

I first purchased one of the security camera/lights back in Dec. 2023 and I loved it so much I purchased another for the backyard and another Solar panel tilt for my garage, their doorbell camera and also the indoor pan/tilt camera they have proved valuable many times the app is very easy to use they make installation of the camera so simple... And the customer service is unbelievable... I just recently started having problems with the lights on the first camera I ordered,... I sent them a text about the problem and they responded immediately and walk me through some possible quick fixes. When it was clear that this was something they couldn't fix over the phone they told me they were sending out a brand new unit something I never expected,... If you're thinking about buying one of these cameras or any of their products don't hesitate buy it now you'll be very happy you did!!

Awesome product.

Bought the 4 pack solar cameras and was amazed with the quality, ease of setup and installation. A week later I ordered the powered flood light camera to add to my system. Again took less than 10 min to unbox and setup. The biggest job was setting up the ladder to switch lights.

A week later one of the lights stopped working. Used the chat option to communicate issue and they are shipping me a new camera. Old still works with just 50% of the light not illuminating.

Very easy to deal with and excellent product for home security.

I've also added a couple interior cameras that I've scheduled to be on only at night but enjoy turning them on remotely to aggravate my wife who works from home.

Flood Light Not working .. submitting warranty claim …

Within 6 mo of the purchasing/ installing product, I experienced flood light operation (not working) issue. I called Aosu tech-support USA number & explained the issue ( LED light power driver bad, according to my opinion). USA tech-support obtained my information and forward it to the China tech-support & informed me that I will get an email from China but didn’t receive any email from China. It took about two weeks to resolve the communication issues but finally I send additional information thru email and did receive the replacement unit. Installed it & works fine so far. Have about 5 Aosu camera installed at two different location & it works perfectly. Would recommend product … Wish their customer service respond more efficiently…

Great customer service great product

This camera is exceptional! The video quality is excellent, and the 24-hour recording feature is a standout. It offers top-notch security at an incredible value. Setup is quick and user-friendly, and the customer service is outstanding. I’ll definitely be recommending this to my friends and family!

I waited a long time, this was the right one for sure!

I waited a long time to get this camera and I am glad I got the one I did. I read a lot about monitoring etc and whether it met my needs or not and in the end, having a system with SD Card was really all I wanted but I can have both if I wanted to easy enough. The installation was a piece of cake, well documented and startup connection was super easy. Only surprise was it connects a 2.4 G connection not 5 G connection but not a problem, it doesn't need that connection so it is fine the transmission is compressed enough it doesn't slow down the response. Amazing how after only a few days I am learning that I realize I can see how many times a day my wife and I leave the house in the cars or on a walk etc. Ease of use, from startup and turn it on to fully operational was less than five minutes, I expected it to be much harder than it was. Fine tuning was another 5-10 minutes and I was done. Great product, never even had to reach out for support but it seemed to be easy access if I needed it. Yes I would absolutely buy the AOSU again!

3k floodlight by AOSU

I had no light in my backyard so I installed the 360 3K AOSU flood camera and it does an amazing job lights up the backyard. The sellers are very good, they help you with any issues you have I have six cameras and I’ve had no issues with any of them.

Price is right, audio and video are great, very easy to connect with WiFi. All I wish is more than 4 live views with app.

Water in the spotlights.

Bought this security camera about 4 months ago. Worked fine starting out. Could never get the uhd or 3k to work during the daytime so I had to run it on sd. Nothing to do with wifi because it is close to a router. Started acting up overtime. Four months later water is leaking into both spotlights. Camera is starting to do whatever it wants. Turned off motion tracking the other day and it's still motion tracking. Sometimes I will have it set on a certain spot in the the yard and all of a sudden it's facing the wall stuck. This was like a month ago. Going to have replace it soon. Wouldn't buy this spotlight camera again.

Fantastic Unit !

Just installed five Aosu units throughout our home including two outdoor cams.

Replaced a driveway floodlight motion sensor with this floodlight cam unit.

What an awesome improvement !

You will not be disappointed, if you follow the basic steps and the one that is most important is having the wi-fi strength as high as possible.

Starts to give slow response when below 75% or less.

80% to 86% works well, and everything above that is excellent.

Best to read the requirements before you buy.

I put Micro SD cards in all , and SanDisk Max Endurance (Temp & Water proof) in the three outdoor units.

I love these things and I decided to include a video of what might be an unexpected event that could happen this spring !

Easy to install-good support

I am very satisfied with this product. Very easy to install and connect to internet. It is a very sturdy product. I did need to call support for some adjustments because of the sensitivity of the sensors. ie birds flying. I initially installed it wrong on the soffit and the picture was upside down like above. I then left for Florida and was working with AOSU customer support by email. I dealt with two ladies from customer support and they were excellent. I use my own local storage. When I got home 3 months later, something did happen to the lights and it could not be fixed but they supplied me with a new one.

Very well designed

This unit works very well. It pivots to follow motion, which is very useful for my setting (2nd floor mounting above a deck and needing to view 180 degrees) and the software interface is well designed, it is easy to navigate through saved videos and selectively delete them, too. A suggestion for future software updates is to add ability to distinguish snow/ rain and not send constant motion alerts during snowfall when flying snowflakes trigger it.

Only reason did 4 stars is that, while it does connect with Google Home as advertised, I can't access the camera through the Google Home app--all it did is show the device in the list. You need to go to the Aosu app to view camera. Since the app is well designed it's not a deal breaker, but it would be nice if a future update corrected this.

Before I installed several kinds of security cameras. This products are the best. They have clear and high quality video and pictures. I love it and recommend it to you. You deserved it!

Very impressed for the price!

No monthly fees. Amazing customer service. I bought 4 solar and 1 floodlight. Almost everything you can ask, great User interface.

August 2024 Update: Working great. The worst of the hot desert summer has passed (120° to 125° F). If you are concerned about heat, do not worry. Also we got a bad storm (Hillary) and they survived also.

Will keep it at 5 star if the cameras last at least 3 years. We would not mind to change them every 3 to 4 years.

September 2025 update: no issues. They are constantly updating the firmware. Solar panels working good. Just like the first day. Happy camper here!

The best one I ever used. High quality and easy setup.

Love it. I bought many different Security cameras before this. Those did not even come close to this AOSU camera with alarm and light integrated. It gives a clear picture, the motion settings are awesome, and it’s easy to use with the app. Great price and quality compared with the ring. Highly recommend!!

Great coverage, cool features, standard installation:

I really love that this product doubles as both a security light as well as a surveillance camera. The combination of active lighting and passive recording is a great one-two punch to keep someone from entering the property. The app is pretty simple to use overall and comes with some cool AI detection features that are pretty standard on a lot of newer models, but the fact that the head can swivel and cover a larger area is a big plus, as most competitive cameras I've seen do not offer that feature. The installation was a bit more involved than a typical PoE connection to be honest (since you still need to wire in the power supply), but connecting via WiFi helps simplify the data transfer aspect. Also, the video installation guide is just excellent and a great walkthrough if you're having trouble or just want to watch it done before attempting yourself.

Overall, this is a great unit and I would recommend.
