Only one works

Only one works . Am returning this. Has anyone else got that issue . I opened it carefully to taste it and only one is useful. Would love both of them working for my jogging.

2.5 years and still working!

I waited for two years to write this review. You can't know if a product is reliable until you have owned it for a while. These ear buds are still going strong. Great battery life, sharp crisp highs which are excellent for listening to my PDFs, and won't come off your ear in any situation. The price was more than competitive.

I use these every day driving a limo for GPS directions and telephone calls.

This is my third set. I drive a limo. I use the left earbud only for that, to allow me to hear GPS directions and take telephone calls.

I like the over-the-ear mounting as being very comfortable and easy to mount/dismount. For the left earbud I wear everyday, I prefer to remove the soft insert in the ear. It makes it more comfortable, doesn't impact the sound quality, and blocks out less background sound (of traffic and customers).

On occasion I use them for business calls at home, or team communication when virtual bicycle racing on Zwift. I use both ear buds then. I like I can use either or both easily.

The batteries including the case last a long time - weeks for me. Seeing the power level of the case (4 white dots) when I put them away provides an easy status.

I lost the first two sets, so I am on my third. I find these are a good value for the job I need them to do.

First because it has a sound, second because I can walk with them without them coming out of my ear and third because they are very easy to wear or run on the bike, perfect

Great Value

They sound clear and they’re easy to use, so comfy I forgot I was wearing it because I didn’t use my phone for 20 mins. The “red” is definitely a hot pink but that doesn’t bother me but it is misleading

Good but only lasted 7 months

I bought these 11 January 2023.

Pros: + sound quality, + noise cancellation, +STAYS IN during workouts (jump rope, running, etc.)

Cons: < automatic pairing is annoying (couldn't figure out how to disable it)

< you need 2 hands to put them on. this may seem like a small thing but it can be annoying.

< case is too bulky to carry along (when you just go out for exercise)

< 13 Aug 2023 Left headset simply stopped working. Stopped charging, won't turn it on.

Customer Service IS responsive BUT they send bits of info on each email, so you do exchange 8-9 emails and seems they don't read the previous exchanges.

They offered me a refund of what I paid in Jan (a few dollars cheaper).

Would I buy the same ones again? Sad to say - unlikely. I like them BUT don't want to deal with the hassle in another 7mos time.

The left ear one stopped working. They were fine and then on Sun 13 Aug I tried them and have zero luck.

The Right ear one - works well, but the Left one won't charge, it won't turn on.

True wireless earbuds

They are very reliable and has great sound quality I love them don’t have to worry about losing them

Single button control is an extremely frustrating experience!

If you like the feeling of total frustration and lack of control, then these are the earbuds for you.

The sound was good (but, the left bud quit its working audio after 35 days, but controls still function) and they are comfortable, BUT….

The controls are all in ONE BUTTON and dependent on number and length of pushes. It says to read the red/blue lights for confirmation but the buds are in your ears- duh?

Read the “Control Function” page attached. The notice:

1. @Press and hold” works for both on/off and increase/decrease volume - hold the button to increase the volume and WOW - they turn off. I can only cause them to increase the volume, never have been able to decrease the volume.

2. Next double click to go forward/back a song - only does to the next song, never back , never repeat.

3. The function “Click the MFB on either earbud once” will either/both send the album to the end or send you to the phone function. True one-touch total confusion.

4. Double clicking for an incoming call may work if you find the insensitive MFB button but it may pick up only one click and send you to the end of the album.

5. Triple clicking does SOMETHING related to a microphone and audio control back on your smartphone screen - but too hard to be reliable when pushing unseen buttons on the side of your head.

Just poorly designed botton functionality that TOTALLY FRUSTRATES the user in the field.

Finally, the sound has quit working partially on the left earbud after 35 days of ownership. It sound will always pair to the right earbud but only occasionally to the left and then the left audio goes deaf after 5 minutes.

In summary, the one button control is a design-for-user friendliness problem. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Great earbuds

I'm really enjoying these earbuds. They fit well, they have a nice sounds and I appreciate how you can just choose to use one at a time. The only real issue I have with them is that multifunction button on each earbud requires more pressure than I like. It feel like I'm trying to force them deep into my ear when I use them. So I don't. I control everything through my phone. Problem solved. If I could give half stars these would be 4.5 stars instead of 4.

Amazing

I've spent money on ear buds, and have never come across one's that have truly won me over like these. The sound and weight of these are the best light weight music, light weight in my ears..super soft and durable. Sound is incredible. I'm in love. Cherry on top is they are waterproof, and can switch up on their design.

Good sounds!

These work well with good sound quality and they definitely stay in your ears with the fancy ear hooks. I had a little trouble in the beginning but the seller was extremely responsive and helpful ~ thank you seller! They came with several different ear pieces that provide nice options based on your use. I'm not keen on LED lights shining from my ears. These have 2 LED's on each earbud that bugs the daylights out of me. I cut small pieces of black electrical tape which effectively extinguished the LED's. Now I'm grooving and smiling. I'd recommend giving them a go if you're looking for earbuds like these.

These are some of the best wireless earbuds I’ve owned and I have had a bunch of them they are so nice and stay in my ears which a lot of them is where my issues where they are loud enough to cancel out any noise or quiet enough to listen for someone or for me I have to hear when my dog goes out he barks at everyone and I would rather him not so I don’t have to stop listening to music so I can go check on him. They go pretty far from the phone as well which is nice

Sound GREAT! Comfortable fit, Value for money, Non-fading Black Color. Recommended.

I purchased these headphones in October 2022. They've held up well to my teenager's abuse and misuse. Sound is great! They fit really well with no complaints of ear fatigue from being worn for extensive hours each day. I only buy black accessories, and the color on this set has not faded at all. I use some alcohol wipes (70% Isopropyl alcohol) to clean them when needed, and at least once a week. No color fade. Charging case is durable. It keeps them charged (in-built, long-lasting battery) even when away from an electricity source.

The only feature I'd like to see added to the earbuds is an audible "find earbuds" feature (such as a chirp-chirp) to help locate them when they're temporarily misplaced. No other issues. Highly recommended!!

Earbud Tips Fall Off - Dealbreaker

I received these as a gift since an earbud from my previous headphones from another brand stopped working. I like the sound quality, the ease of pairing with my phone, the general comfort, the button functionality, and the look. However, the earbud tips stay stuck in my ear whenever I remove them! I did not read the reviews before selecting them, but after this experience, I found another user had the same issue. That has never happened to me before, and it should never happen with any sort of headphone, no matter the price. It is a nuisance and a safety issue, since I have had to use pliers to get them out of my ear every time. I have tried three earbud tip sets, two of the sizes included with these headphones (one of which did not provide a good seal, so the forces on the tips should have been minimal) and another set from another set of earbuds. Since a good seal is required for optimal sound quality and noise isolation, this is a major issue with the design. It is a design issue since I have looked at the connector for the earbud tips versus another set of headphones I have, and there is a clear difference, with the other ones never giving me this problem. The issue becomes more obvious when removing the tips from these APEKX headphones takes significantly less force than any other headphones I recall having. See the photo for the design difference. I will be returning these but I wanted to leave a review first to help those considering buying them. If the company fixes this issue, then they will become a valid competitor to other brands.

One of the best headphones l bought.

I like this for a couple of reasons, the material that it's made of is soft around the earlobes, and fits comfortably without any irritation to my ears. It cancels out noise and sound clear and crisp. Works well with my phone and it easy to connect to my Bluetooth. Would recommend to family and friends.

Great for the money

Here's the deal guys and girls.

The fact that this is completely wireless and comes in a great little magnet box is awesome.. the noise cancellation is superb. The highs are very meticulous clear and crisp the base is disappointing....

Here's how to fix that.. those little rubber caps that stick in your ear, are too small for any kind of bass, go grab those caps off your favorite headphones that died.. and put them on these and then you will have your base.. I'm not sure why they didn't include optional sizes for the cats to stick in your ear like every other set of headphones does maybe this is the only way they could keep the price down

My suggestion is put a few sizes in there because everybody's ear is not the same size

Other than that folks for the money these are really good headphones similar name brand ones will cost $150

Comfortable sports earbud

This is a great affordable little sports earbud. I use it for biking every day. I choose this unit because I like to need the loops around the ear to secure it while riding, so Airpods are not an option for me. The loops are comfortable and secure properly, and I'm able to wear them while using my glasses with no problem. The audio quality is nice, with decent lows and no discernible noise. The maximum volume is too loud, but it is decent and satisfied my needs. The battery life is decent, and I was able to go a few days without charging with mild use. As for features, I like that it turns itself on and off as you take it off the charging case. The one change I would like on a future unit is to use USB C instead of micro, as I'm trying to reduce the different types of charging cable in my life, but other than that I'm very happy with this purchase.

Not for tiny ears

I have very small ears for a 27 year old female and I thought with all the extra ear pieces it’d be okay. The piece that goes over and around the ear doesn’t even touch my ear so it’s not secure when running or exercising. I’m disappointed because it really is great quality for the price!

They fit my ears!!!

I've always had a hard time finding earbuds for my ears that will fit. I have finally found them these are perfect for my ears. The fact that you can remove the hook and just put the birds in alone using them that way is very good I need a hook for my ears because my ears are small but the fact that they are convertible "" perfect. I can't hear any excess noise there's no extra noises the people that I talk to tell me that they don't hear all of the background noises that they used to with my old headset wonderful pair I do recommend. The one thing that I have not done is worked out with these headphones yet so I'm not sure if they'll be slippery due to the sweat or if they'll fall off but this is something that I will try soon.

Great if they'd stay in place

I lost the left one within 24 hours. These randomly fall out of my ear with no warning. The silicone ear piece is too flimsy to offer hold. Even when I first put them in they balance on the very tip of my ear. I tried the different bud sizes, same issue. The battery lasts, the sound is pretty good but I can only use it if I'm sitting in place and even then I have to push it back in every so often. I really can't use this.

Finally, earbuds that do not fall out

I have always had trouble keeping earbuds in place, especially the wireless kind. No matter what size earcaps I used, they would inevitably fall out. I recently bought a pair that came with 7 different sized earcaps, I tried every one but none stayed in for long. I ended up returning them. I still really wanted wireless earbuds to wear at work so I could walk around and still hear my music. I saw these APEKX on sale during Prime Day and decided to give them a go. I had never tried a pair of earbuds that hook over the ears, but I thought they might work for me. Fortunately, I was right! These are very comfortable, once I get them set they don't need to be adjusted. The sound is fine considering the price, certainly good enough for my purposes. The battery life seems to be as advertised. The control functions work well, and I have not had any connectivity issues. One thing to watch out for, when reseating the earbuds in their charger, make sure each are connected. If you don't see the red light(s) then the earbud is not seated correctly and will not charge. Also, I bought the pink set, however, the extra pair of earhooks that came with it are grey. I don't know if that was a mistake, but the advertised picture shows all of the earhooks as the same color.

Pros:

-Comfortable

-They don't fall out of ears

-Decent sound

-Battery life is as advertised

-Good connectivity

Cons:

-Pay attention when seating in charger or they won't connect

-Extra earhooks are a different color

Great performance and value!

I'm going to start with the negative: the audio quality is slightly less than what you might get with something like Jaybird headphones. There is some depth missing from the audio. But these are also in-ear headphones, not over-ear headphones with the space to support the tech needed for full, rich, deep sound.

That's the only thing I could consider to be wrong with these headphones. Otherwise, these have been a wonderful pair of headphones. When I wear my over-ear headphones (Mpow and Bose QC), the noise cancellation is good but not perfect. I can still hear some overflow noise from the rest of the people in the house now and then. With these Apekx earbuds, I don't hear a noise from someone speaking to me from a foot behind me! Utter silence.

The battery life is quite good. I don't really have any specific comments here. I haven't had much reason to push them to the limit of their battery life...we can thank coronavirus for keeping us all at home and not needing to be away from our chargers. But I've also never had them die on me!

By far my favorite thing about this set of headphones is the set of different ear molds included. I didn't realize this when I purchased, but while it's standard for earbuds to let you swap out the actual bud part for smaller sizes, APEKX went a step beyond and included a set of earhooks and earloops, each with 2 different sizes. They all look and feel great to use in terms of texture and quality.

Overall: Good purchase. Very pleasant notes in the package as well made it a pleasure to open.

Didn't last as long as I wanted

I ordered these in August. They no longer charge and they have consistently had issues staying connected to my phone after the first 3 months. They could have been worse, but could have been better.

Wearing them is awkward. Maybe I have small ears? I used the smallest clips they come with and they still don't hug my ear they way I think they should. I have an industrial piercing in my right ear and that is actually what helps these stay in my ear. . Which can irritate my piercing. Lol I also only wore these at work and I have an active job as a housekeeper in a hotel. I am very active at work, but am not bouncing around like I would be in the gym.. so it can't hold up to activity at work.

Lastly, it does stick way out from the ear lol. See in 3rd pic.

NOISE CANCELING 6/5!

I LIKE TO sing out loud n the shower and I can't hear anyone complaint... Completely blocked out the haters 👌🏿😂

Water proof 5/5.. Idk what water proof rating these are but I washed my hair in the shower with these on.. I wouldn't submerge them in water but they can handle the shower and sweat...

Cons?

I owned another pair of these in the past and the reason why I shopped for a different brand is bc after 5 months the volume wouldn't work on them.. they would play really low.. so I gave them to my boyfriend.. YALL TELL ME WHY THEY STARTED WORKING RIGHT WHEN HE GOT THEM🙄.. HE wouldn't give them back so I bought me a pink set lol..

These are the best ear buds I ever had.. TRUELY NOISE CANCELLING..

Love It Connects with Computers for Video Editing or Blasting Music too!!!

These Apekx Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds are the best earbuds I ever owned. I had other ones where the earbuds would fall out. At the gym I'd spend more time adjusting earbuds in my ear just to get the right balanced levels. The quick synching with my iphone was the first test I did and it was super fast. They are comfortable for long-wear time. They are soft, they charge super fast and are waterproof. I love the Ergonomic design with flexible ear hooks and silicone earbuds ensure your headphones stay snug fatigue free and tangle free for prolonged enjoyment. This is amazing that it will connect with any bluetooth device such as phones, tablets or computers. I am a professional video editor so being able to edit without the tangle of cables to video edit is impressive! Love this product! I give it a 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend!

Don’t let the price fool you - these sound GREAT

I bought these for my wife as she listens to a variety of music from HipHop to EDM. She also watches lots of tutorial material online. These fit the bill in every way. While I figured they would be bordering on mediocre due to the price point, when I tried them I was ridiculously blown away. The mids were clear and nicely separated from the punchy lows. The isolation is excellent as well making the sound quality even better. Honestly, I am so surprised that I am sending back my Powerbeats pro and just getting a pair of these for myself. I’ve been an audio engineer for decades and own my own studio so I understand audio and the limitations of small speakers. That being said, I didn’t expect these to sound THIS good.

We tested the call quality as well and that was fine. Admittedly, we haven’t owned them for long so I can’t speak to the battery life. However, I did reach out to the company on another issue and they were extremely responsive so I’m confident they will stand by their warranty.

Keep these in your list of considerations and give them a go!
