I like how cheap the cameras are they last a long time battery wise and good quality picture on them. The motion detection going off every move me or the dogs make is sorta annoying tho & the subscription price is too much.

Fast delivery, product stated it was battery operated, well it is rechargeable with usb cord provided which was a great bonus. Once it was added to my Wi-Fi setup was a breeze adding it to my Arlo app. It has two mounting options, it has a mount bracket that I didn’t like, but it has a threaded hole which screwed onto my previous Arlo camera mount. Very pleased with purchase. Been using Arlo for my property for many years.

The worst product they’ve ever put out! The stupid back doesn’t ever click in, you can’t easily just remove the cameras to charge them. A complete waste of $$$$$$ garbage enginerring!

Love our Arlo Cameras. This HD camera did not disappoint! Crystal clear recording and easy setup. It literally took me like 10 minutes. I love that it notifies us if we have a package or who exactly is in view of the camera by name and if it’s an animal, the battery life lasts extra long and the value is absolutely there with these Arlo cameras.

I've had these cameras up for about 9 months now and they've worked out great! The image quality in both daytime and night time is good. I have attached screenshots of one of my cameras at day and at night. I love that they have a light on them you can toggle to turn on at night. When it senses movement. It gives me a little more light when I need it.
Setting up was very easy in the Arlo app. I had no issues with that.
Battery life is great if you don't use the cropping or masking function in the app. When I first set them up my backyard camera was full fram and no masking. My side camera was zoomed in a bit and my neighbors yard was masked out. I was having to charge my side camera about twice as much as my backyard camera. After removing the zooming and masking the battery life is about the same. A battery chard will last a couple of months.
The other reason for taking off a star is because the bracket supplied wouldn't let me angle it down the side of my house very well. I had to create a wedge to mount it to so that I could angle it better.

What a great upgrade. No more batteries to change out, these have a wider field of view, a siren, a spotlight and you can talk to the person who is being recorded. I’m buying 3 more!

This cameras are probably the defective ones from the pros production they are wireless but the battery drains in 2 days i called costumer service 2 times i did what they told me and they still not working i anjusted the detection zone the stuff i wanted detected and the person fix was for me to move them to another spot like really there is exactly where i need them. I guessing i will be putting my menards cameras back up. Look how stupid the zoning is they are 4 points that dont work for crap they have the 6 point for the pros but not for this?

Do not waste your money in these cámaras. They get damage quickly. This is the third one that gets damaged in less than 6 months.

This is a camera system that deceives consumers. I bought a set at Costco for $399 and they said I could record without a subscription. A few days ago, the camera stopped working. I contacted customer service and they said my camera was too old and didn't work. After I bought it, they said I had to subscribe to record. If I didn't subscribe, they asked me to buy an integrator. This is a very bad business, they don't keep their word and keep asking me to spend money.

For the price of the camera is the quality of the cameras to keep an eye on our dogs and what they’re doing & our chickens outside works great, the only thing I really don’t like is you’re gonna have to take it off the amount and recharge it every so often I wish we had the option to wear if you were going to use an indoor that you can just run a wire and plug it in the outllet as a option other than that well pleased they were great no issues

After the first charge on one of the cameras, it won’t even turn on anymore. Arlo is absolutely horrible in general, I have had 6-8 of them break.

My first purchase was in 2017 at Costco for five cameras and I’ve been happy ever since. However, I recently purchased a set of two. Arlo gives you 30 days of recording to the iCloud and after the 30 days you have to purchase a plan. Without a plan, you cannot get any recording for motion detection. The cameras that I have purchased back in 2017, do not need a plan and I have motion detection recording, plus a seven day archive of videos. If you look at the screen shot I posted, during the trial period the feature “zones” is active which means motion record, however in the other screen shot “privacy zones” appears and this does not record any motion. I will be returning these two cameras as they do me no good after the trial period is over.

Absolutely love the Arlo Essential Outdoor Camera (2nd Gen)! Setup was a breeze—everything you need is in the box, including the mount, charging cable, and screws. The video quality is super crisp, even at night thanks to the color night vision. I feel a lot more secure knowing I can monitor everything from my phone, and the motion detection is accurate without being too sensitive.
