All Arlo outdoor product is worthless. I bought a lot from them and every time they assure me that it is weatherproof and they never are. The charging contacts the housing the camera resolution on and on they stink. Never ever buy an allegedly weatherproof product from Arlo. In fact, I’m no longer going to buy any products for from Arlo

Purchased this about 11 months ago, and it worked just OK. The app never impressed me but it functioned. Now, the camera will not record any video without a monthly subscription, and one of the best features about this camera was it had "activity zones" you can set to trigger the camera to record so it wouldn't activate if a mail truck went by or the neighbors cat etc. With the recent update, the camera has to be plugged into ac power for this feature to work? If I'm hardwiring power, I'm going to hardware a real security system. Not this consumer level junk camera that has the resolution of a 2000's flip phone camera at night. Steer clear of anything Arlo. Their whole ecosystem is trash now.

Nice bright light. Works great with all my existing cameras. Catches all kinds of stuff. If it will get a couple foxes, it will get a person.
