Good price and excellent quality. Volume is great!

I do like this helmet Bluetooth intercom. Great styling and features. Had a bit of an issue finding the right spot to mount it on my LS-2 Challenger helmet but it worked out. I’m having some trouble with the voice commands but it might be operator error. Overall pretty happy. Especially with the price. The volume is great. I was on the highway at well over posted speeds and didn’t even need to have the volume all the way up. Installation was pretty easy as well

Edward

High quality and features for the half of the price of the others brands.

Excellent app, +5 miles group mode, background music, traveling I have to charge it every three days, voice commands are excellent. I used with rain dust and sun with no problem at all. The sound of the speakers are excellent. Riding with music is awesome. This is an intercom making everything like others with double price.

Great product at a cheaper price.

This thing is awsome. Right now at $ price I paid for a high end com system with out breaking the bank is great. Great speakers, I got up to 80 mph tonight with my son, he has the same system. Crystal clear vocals. Easy to connect to each other. No holding buttons to sync with same brand.

Pretty darn good!

This is my first motorcycle head unit. The good....Its relatively small and it is pretty easy install on my LS2Dragon.....My helmet comes with ear pockets and some wire management. I do with the speaker connects were a touch smaller. Also I wish the unit was designed to mount on either side. This unit is designed for the left side but my helmet comes with room for everything on the right side...go figure....Sound....Excellent clarity, voice and volume are more than enough for me. The lower frequency, bass...Its not a deal breaker because I dont listen to anything when I ride. Im too busy listening for fools running up on me etc. The intercom, voice commands...Excellent. She can understand my southern drawl just fine. The connection to my phone super easy with the app. The app also allows you to taylor your music with an EQ.....Other than a touch more bass I am not sure why you would spend tripple for the name brands.

I wanted to add I am buying a second unit for my other helmet. I cannot compare other units because I have not and will not be purchasing a $600 CARDO.....If you read their reviews vs ASMAX you will clearly see that this unit is much simpler to use. I have zero issues with connectivity to my Android Phone. I really like the soft voice they chose. Very calm...It might take a few tries until you figure out the voice commands for Navigation especially if you dont watch the video's. For my needs its a no-brainer and I struggle to understand why you would spend so much on the other brands. I would like to say Customer Service, Support is excellent. Friendly and Kind! I lost a unit riding really fast. I smoked a giant dragon fly and I lost my unit. Now this could have been the combination of the speed and the bug or I could have not seated it properly. Either way they replaced it for free under warranty!!! In the future I will double check the mount before I blast down the highway at a 140mph. Without a root cause I cannot blame the mount. Just do yourself a favor a check this before you ride just like you look over your bike before you go.

Asmax F1.

The Asmax F1. Its a great little unit, Plays music, plays GPS notifications without muting music in the background because DUAL CPU's BABY heck yeah! It has MESH intercom, Bluetooth intercom, a stupid large battery that goes like the Energizer bunny, Its waterproof and surved a 45 minute ride in a torrential downpour without even a stutter. its not an absolutely massive unit but it is still chunky as seen in photos. Its every bit as good as a Cardo or Sena (Ive owned both and will choose Asmax now every time over either of those)

* This review is for the old & Discontinued version of the Asmax F1 with the magnetic mount, Asmax just released a new version with a snap-in mount. I believe said new version will have slightly updated hardware inside, so in Theory that one will be even better, But its kind of hard to improve on perfect.

Ive attached a video of this unit paired with some Acoustix Elite 45mm speakers showing how loud its capable of playing music. (Song: Skeletons - Heartist). The stock speakers are perfectly fine, they work quite well and get loud but I wanted to show what this was capable of at its very best, Driving large 45mm speakers. The amp handles it and the Bongiovi Labs tuning DSP handles them well too.

Ease of use!

Very difficult to register on the app! This is the biggest problem most purchasers are experiencing. Took me a day and a half to finally get it signed on and only after trying various methods suggested by users and also loading and deleting the app SEVERAL times and finally turning my wi fi off to get it to work?.

Fantastic customer service and product

I ordered this product for my husband for Christmas. I got the double pack so he and I could talk together. It really helps when riding with a group, going around sharp curves and it allows you to alert your riders other riders are also coming around the curve for safety measures. Another perk is, you can add up to 10 riders on that 1 frequency and the other riders dont necessarily have to have this brand, although I highly recommend due to fantastic customer service. Another perk is he and I can listen to our own music while riding and we can still talk if we need to, it just cuts the music down to the background. It also allows for phone calls to come thru so our kids can reach us while riding. All you have to say is Hi Max, and the command. Speaking of MAX, our little puppy max is still in his chewing phase and some how got ahold of our brand new headset and helmet and chewed the microphone cord to pieces, and this is where the fantastic customer service comes in. They had a quick response and replaced the part!!!! I highly recommend this product and comapny!!!

Excellent product and highly recommend

This product was great. Has a very high-end feel and easy to use. Volume is excellent and people I talk to can’t hear any road or wind noise! The ASMAX F1 was also perfect for my helmet, the LS2 Stream 2.

I also recently purchased the upgraded F1s model and am just as impressed with quality and clarity. It was an easy install on my second helmet a Shoei RF-1400. My teammates say they can not hear any wind noise at all. I would highly recommend either model.

It’s quality

You should know that this is a very awesome product easy to install. It is quality. I have the capstone two modular helmet. Their very easy install product is really nice. Very clear. It works really well. I’ve been calling a lot of people on it and I’ve also paired it with other devices like a Harley one perfect for everyone

The best intercom of the market

Excellent product quality price one of the best on the market the very practical voice assistant

A very nice design the voice assistant is ideal on the route you don't have to leave the steering wheel to use it only with the voice you can do

jen

Water proof on point

The sound is good the best part is it is water proof- it made it through the washer / dryer and still works like a champ. The magnet clip in makes it easy to clip and go.

Buy It

i have nothing but good things to say about this unit. if you are in the market for a comms unit this is it for sure . everything provided has been great quality. packaged well, very easy to install. My bike is really loud so i have had issues with units in the past just not working whether it be the mic not picking up or speakers not loud enough but this does not disappoint. has all the features of the name brand units without the outrageous cost. charges using usb cable which is great i have not ran the battery dead on it yet sorry when i get to around 30% i feel that i need to charge it but i ride for over a week without charging and i ride daily. I have also had to reach out to customer support on a couple occasions just to have operations explained to me and they have been great every time. if you are on the fence just do it i highly doubt you can find anything wrong with this unit

Best you can buy for $100

I normally don’t write reviews but this time I needed to.

I have used Sena and Cardo. They were very pricey and worked well for the technology at the time. I only ride solo and listen to music so the mesh and group stuff does not matter to me.

However for music? Holy canoli this thing freaking rocks! So loud even with earplugs on. The voice commands work so great.

The EQ actually changes the tone of the music.

Do NOT spend $200 for another system.

This is all you need. So just buy this and call it a day!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pure Magic on Three Wheels – ASMAX F1 is a Game-Changer!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but the ASMAX F1 Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset deserves a standing ovation. I use it with my 2023 Can-Am Ryker, and the experience is nothing short of cinematic. The Hi-Fi speakers deliver crisp sound, even when I’m tearing down the highway or cruising through the mountains with the wind howling. The mesh intercom keeps me perfectly connected with my riding group—no drops, no static, just clear, reliable communication even when we’re spread out.

The AI voice control is the real MVP here. It feels like I’m piloting a spaceship—commands are recognized instantly and hands-free control is flawless. That means a lot when I’m riding solo or when my wife (a professional wrestler and part-time speed demon) takes the Ryker out for a spin. She's obsessed with it too—says it’s the first headset that can keep up with both her voice and her moves.

The fast charging is no joke either. I plug it in while grabbing a snack, and it’s good to go for hours. Skippy, my cat, is even intrigued—he sat in my helmet the other day just purring along to my playlist. If that’s not an endorsement, I don’t know what is.

If you’re a rider who values quality, seamless communication, and top-tier tech—get this headset. It’s made every ride more fun, more connected, and more Skippy-approved.

Best mesh comms for price.

Absolutely amazing product. Great quality sound quality. They sound better than my Cardo and Sena but a fraction of the price. I have all my riding buddy’s switching over. I love it. Will never waste my on Cardo or Sena anymore.

Great Quality

Product is phenomenal easy universal pairing with other devices speakers are very loud phone calls at 60mph with visor up are clear with zero wind noise

B

awesome for music, mesh not so much

Sound quality is great, comes with a thich aux port that you gotta hide in your helmet.

Sounds as good as my Sena S50 if not louder/better. Tried mesh connection however didnt seem to be recognising the Sena. Will play with it more however connectikn to others doesnt seem to be smooth

One other thing is that the buttons on the design are good however you cant really tell what you are pressing with your gloves on.

If you just wanna listen to music and do phone calls, go for it. If you constantly ride with groups you might wanna consider Sena or Cardo

Works Great, If You Know The Tricks

Updated Review:

After posting my original review, the company contacted me and asked me to perform some tests to determine the source of my control problems. When nothing worked, they sent me another unit to try. This one works much better, but it still isn’t perfect.

All the controls work, but there are a few tricks. If you are using manual controls, you have to push the buttons close to the center of the device. If you push on the outer edges, it won’t work. To get voice control to work, you call Max, the assistant. After Max answers, there is a pause, then a tone. You have to wait until AFTER the tone to speak or Max won’t respond. The problem is, the volume of the tone is too low to hear when you are riding because of wind noise. You have to call Max, wait a couple of seconds, and then give your command. You can adjust the volume of notifications in the app, and I do have it all the way up, but it’s not enough. They need to make it possible to turn the volume of the tone up higher.

When wearing gloves, I HAVE to use voice commands because I can’t feel the buttons. This is especially true with the volume controls because the buttons are too small. I’m thinking of putting a dot of silicon on each button so I can feel them. Other people may not have this issue, but I just can’t find the correct button with gloves on.

As I said in my original review, the only thing this device has, that the others I have tried don’t, is the voice assistant. For me, this is a necessity because of not being able to use the manual controls while riding. I’m just not sure that is worth and extra $100.

Original Review:

This is the third Bluetooth headset I have tried and it is by far the most expensive. What drew me to this one was the voice-control, unfortunately, that feature is hit-or-miss, as are the button controls.

There is a lot I like about the ASMAX headset compared to the other two I have used. It is not overly bulky and does not have a bunch of flashing lights. It has a separate charging port so you don’t have to unplug the speakers to recharge the battery. It has a standard 3.5mm connector for the speakers instead of a proprietary USB port so you can replace them if you want. It can easily be removed from the base to charge without having to dismantle the whole clip or unplug all the cords. The sound is decent, but not great. It’s good enough for me, though. It gets plenty loud. I can hear the music just fine at highway speeds even when the volume is not all the way up, and that’s with earplugs in. I don’t ride with others so I can’t comment on the intercom function.

Where the Asmax falls short is in the controls, both voice and manual. Sometimes when I try to turn it on or off, nothing happens. I have to try two or three times to get it to function correctly. Usually, if I am stopping someplace for a short time, I just leave it on instead of messing with it. It is the same with the volume control, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

With voice controls, I can get “Max” to answer every time I call, but more times than not, the command is not followed. Trying to adjust the volume sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Pausing the music is the same. I have never been able to get Max to restart the music after it has been paused. I have to pull out my phone and manually restart it.

I still like the Asmax more than the other two I have, even with its problems. However, at $100 more, I’m not sure it’s worth the additional cost. At that price, it should function more reliably. If I was going to spend that much money, I would probably buy a Cardo headset instead.

Mesh capable with its own assistant

This Asmax helmet communications unit is on the cutting edge of new motorcycle communications devices for two reasons. First, it's Mesh capable for up to 10 riders. This is a different (and newer) technology than the vast majority of helmet comm devices use. Bluetooth is the name (and communication type) used to power the previous generation's abilities, and I'm glad to report that this unit is backwards compatible with the Bluetooth only systems, so it didn't obsolete my riding partner's comm unit just because I upgraded to this Mesh capable one. I easily paired this unit with his (a different brand) and using it in the intercom mode with my non-mesh capable partner's device works very well with clear voice capabilities out to about 200 yards. The second reason this a is cutting edge product is the onboard voice assistant. Not Hey Google or Siri from your phone, instead it's named Max and comes with this Asmax unit. There are 4 buttons on the face of this unit and Max can do almost everything you can do by pushing buttons, just ask and she (must be short for Maxine) makes it happen. There's volume to spare and after pairing my phone to it, music, navigation and phone calls are all part of Max's capabilities. Why bother with buttons is my new 2-wheel motto thanks to this new headset. I can't report on the Mesh capabilities because I don't have another Mesh capable device, nor do any of the people I usually ride with. I'm excited about the increased distances that Mesh is supposed to be capable of maintaining communications over, but that will have to wait for now. What I can report is this unit sports the latest greatest tech involved in helmet communications these days and I can't wait to explore the Mesh capable side of it. I'm fairly sure, judging from how it works so far, that it will be equally as impressive as it already is.

High end headset

I've ordered a few different headsets recently that way I can communicate with my kids and wife while we're riding together.

This headset definitely has the highest quality feel of all of the headsets I've ordered so far, of course this headset also costs about twice the cheaper options.

So what do you get for the premium?

-Clean and clear audio thanks to the use of the AAC code, meaning music sounds excellent.

-Higher quality speakers that don't distort at higher volumes.

-Definitely more power because they get loud, stupid loud.

-Very nice spring pin connection instead of the cheap USB-C plug.

-3.5mm audio jack so you can change/upgrade the speakers if you so choose, cheaper alternatives don't have this feature.

-Multiple mounting options.

-Longer battery life.

-Better asthetics.

-Easy to feel buttons.

I'm jamming out to them while writing this review and this is a huge upgrade on my helmet, I don't own any high end headphones but these definitely sound better than some of the $200+ gaming headsets I've owned which is something I didn't expect.

The only audio complaint I have is the mids are quite harsh but this can be fixed via the eq or by buying a different set of speakers so it's not a major deal.

I'll likely be buying another for my dirt bike helmet, probably never going to mess with anymore budget headsets as I've now been spoiled.. I'll give my other ones to the kids 😂
