I honestly like this controller better than my Xbox Pro Controller. The fit and grip feel great in my hands, and the buttons and triggers are very responsive. It’s easy to use and feels like a high-quality controller without the premium price. I also really like the extra customization options. Best of all, it was cheaper than an Xbox Pro Controller while still feeling just as good, if not better. I’ve had no issues with stick drift either.

Love the Asus Ecosystem!
If you have any other Asus gaming products then you know what I am talking about when I say they just work. Together that is. Very well as a matter of fact. The entire Asus Gaming ecosystem, be it Rog, Strix, TUF, whatever it is their products intelligently know each other and play well together. I can compare it to the Apple ecosystem. Great controller, easy to set up. I use as an external controller with my ROG Xbox Ally and it works flawlessly unlike the Turtle Beach I just replaced. Its got a nice weight to it, doesn't feel cheap at all. Recommend!

Broke in 1 month!!!
Had this controller for literally a month and a day. The left stick now inverts input and drifts. Tried every channel. Tried every fix. This product is defective and now outside the window of return. Very dissatisfied with this purchase. Avoid at all cost. I paid >$100!!!! Huge waste of money.

Very good controller with minimal drawbacks
The controller's build quality is great. It's plastic, but doesn't feel cheap. It also looks great. The Asus branding is all other the place, but it isn't prominent
The buttons are responsive, but they're not mechanical, so there's no sound when you click them. I do prefer clicky controller-buttons. The thing that sets this apart from the non-pro version, the OLED screen, does add functionality as you can change profiles and connection settings without having to connect to a computer.
This controller does have 3 connection methods: USB(wired), Bluetooth, and 2.4Ghz wireless via the USB dongle. In my experience, the Bluetooth connection does have noticeable latency which would make it unacceptable for fast-paced games, but the 2.4Ghz dongle connection has almost no latency.
The battery life is pretty good. With RGB on, I get almost 6 hours of playtime

the worst thing I've ever bought
Llegó con signos de manipulación y lo peor de todo llega sin el dongle. Que decepción

Received defective item, Instead of dealing with asus returned and purchased another.
Rgb controller is burnt and only half of it works, ordered another and will request refund. See the attached picture, i did troubleshooting and tried different methods to see if it would work. The 2.4ghz dongle doesn't work with amoury crate as it should either, doesnt sync with aura sync at all unless pluged in via usb and the rgb still only illuminates partially. The quality of the controller is nice, coming from an elite 2 it will take some adjusting to. The programmable bumpers/triggers on the back are not what I'm used too and seem to not be where your fingers rest. Some might prefer this, most do not... This is a light controller, much lighter than my elite 2 from what I'm accustomed to and used for 4 years. I moved to this controller for esthetics as was let down due to a defective pos. If the controller wasnt defective i would give it 4 stars, -1 star due to placement of back programmable buttons, seems very odd, as if no one tested the design before release, I can already tell you it wasn't tested in qc before being sold. Anyone could tell is was broken.

It feels great in the hand
I love the OLED screen, and the back buttons also love that you can choose the triggers like their pool. Also, the controller is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Also, it feels great in the hand.

Raikiri Pro review

Pricey for a mid level controller
I’ve never owned an XBOX type controller before so it’s to my surprise how comfortable it is when you hold it. I’ve used a PS and Switch controller and I can absolutely say that an XBOX type is the far superior controller out there.
Get this if:
1. You’re a fan of flat type d-pad. This one is awesome.
2. You want a customizable light. (Needs to be wired to the pc and download a program to set it up tho. Minor inconvenience.)
3. You want 4 macro buttons in the rear.
4. Want an aux jack for headphones.
5. Wanna be extra and have an OLED screen on your controller that tells you how it’s connected to the device (usb, dongle, bluetooth) and battery percentage, as well as having a pixelated wallpaper that’s customizable.
Do NOT get this if:
1. You want to remap the 4 macro buttons with keyboard keys, a sequence combo, or RT LT Select Start. It does not do that. You can only use it for XYAB, d-pad, RB LB, and joystick sensitivity. What a letdown.
2. If you’re looking for a controller with a turbo mode. This one does not have it. Cheaper controllers have that option. This one doesn’t.
3. If you won’t be needing any of the Pros I mentioned above. It’s just not worth it for its price.

Great Gaming Controller
Ive been gaming for about 20 years and have owned almost every controller on the market. The Raikiri Pro is one of my favorite so far. It has lighting fast responsiveness, quality buttons, countless performance features, 3 way connectivity, and a battery life longer than I could ever play for. The OLED screen is a very clean, helpful upgrade. The app for the controller could use a little fine tuning, but other than that it's perfect for new gamers and pros alike.

Garbage
I bought it for the rear paddles. Upon first touch I already knew it was garbage when my fingers couldn't reach the paddles(buttons really). Gimmicky, basic controller. Returning it. Waste of time.
A note to designers. Maybe think next time? It's a simple controller, put your hands on it, you'll see. And no one cares about the lights and OLED screen. I want a good controller that doesn't look or feel like garbage, but not gimmicky.

Early review. Good so far, but instructions book is used?
The instruction book and warranty book looks used since it was like dirty and pretty worn out, which is weird... anyways I barely got this yesterday so this is a very early review.. but so far I like it on my ally.. you do have to turn off the embedded controller setting on the ally to use this. Was a little hard to pair this controller well learning how to pair this controller when switching it to Bluetooth because you have to switch in the oled screen to Bluetooth when trying to pair it to your handheld or computer.. when thats done then everything else is easy to use and later on ill write a full review on how overall I like it or don't like it. Will update in probably a few weeks to a month

No fair reviews...smh
I normally don't do this but I see this gamepad on sale. However I already got one of Asus official website. I've seen some reviews on here that just tells you buy a competing gamepad. No explanation. I'm going to try my best to give this a fair review.
Right out of the box you see a good looking gamepad with a small screen. But does it hold up to expectations. Yes for some and no for many. First it is a smaller game pad and you might be able to tell but it's slightly smaller. The game pad has three options to play wired 2.4ghz dongle or Bluetooth. I tried only Bluetooth and the dongle out to see if there was a delay. I believe 2.4ghz had the edge. At time other Bluetooth devices in my home might have caused a delay or a cause it to disconnect and reconnect. Setting up the game pad was simple plug the dongle in and download armor crate to configure to you hearts content. From RGB color scheme to on screen animations. Bluetooth setup was a bit weird as there didn't be any real direction on how to do it. But I figured it out.
As far as gameplay the gamepad felt good as a regular gamepad. It felt as good as a default gamepad that comes package with an Xbox, mind you I don't have an Xbox these game pads are for my PC. I didn't like the D pad and seldomly used not that many of today's games required me to use it often. The design just felt weird overall, but works. I didn't get a chance to do any Hadoukens with the D-pad it was mostly menus and maps and change gear and weapons.
The analog sticks felt good. They didn't feel loose like other knockoff brand gamepads they had a nice amount of tension/resistance that made some games feel like it was made for it. The gamepad biggest downside for me is the mappable back buttons. As you can see in my photos they are oddly placed and did not feel convenient and sometimes made me feel like I had to over stretch my fingers to use them. The buttons were unique as the had a matted finished which you don't find on gamepads. I definitely like the smooth glossy buttons more. The share/screen cap button was conveniently placed and is big plus over the Elite series gamepad that everyone wants. Yes a screenshot button is important to me because as a photographer in real life I like to shoot a lot in video games. Which is something to consider if you're the same way. Yes you are reading correctly the Xbox elite series 2 does NOT have a share/screen shot button. On PC currently there is no way to map the buttons to do screen shots on the elite series 2 pad without a third party software/firmware. I am not a fan of custom firmware I like things to work immediately. The lack of screenshot button on the Elite Series 2 was a big disappointment for me but the Raikiri pro gave me that option when I feel like shooting. The triggers are nice they felt great and if you feel that pulling a trigger takes away button pressing time you can disable the trigger and make it another bumper button which I didn't use but when I did it felt good and a nice chance of pace.
The OLED display on the Raikiri pro is a great addition. I always wanted a screen on my gamepad. However there is currently no advantage to having a screen. It's not like you can have an health bar or any in-game information sent to the gamepad screen, yet. The screen is an eyecatcher and makes it easy to switch between profiles on the fly with a visual confirmation other than having a colored LED dot.
Overall I like the Raikiri pro but it's not my every day pad. And for the current (11/30/2023)sale price $109.00 it is a great find for what it is. So don't be discouraged and give this a fair chance it might surprise you.
