This keyboard is reliable and durable no matter gaming or working and the leather wrist rest is durable as well,I’ve used wrist rests from other brands before, and the leather started peeling after only a short time. this one feels much better made and has held up really well so far.
the only thing that took me some time to get used to was the arrow key layout. since this is a compact full-size keyboard, I would sometimes accidentally hit the number keys when trying to use the arrow keys. after using it for a while, though, I gradually got used to the layout. other than that, this is an excellent keyboard.

Absolutely loving the ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless! The layout gives me a great balance between a compact design and having all the keys I actually need. The typing experience feels smooth and satisfying, and the wireless connection has been reliable with no noticeable lag while gaming. The build quality feels premium, the RGB lighting looks great, and the battery life has been impressive.
Overall, this is an excellent keyboard for both gaming and everyday use. Highly recommended!

Overall the scope 2 is a pretty good keyboard. It has the robust build quality that you would expect from Asus and it has the versatility of being able to be used plugged in or wirelessly. It's heavy and it feels pretty sturdy. Where it fails is the software. It does need software to change various settings and the issue with that is that the software fails often. If I use it, it will normally hang then crash. Yes the keyboard can function without it but if you ever plan on changing any settings you can and will need to interact with the software at some point. At the time of writing this the software is in a bad state. Do I recommend the keyboard? Yes. Is the software crippling it? Also yes. I managed to get it on sale. I don't recommend picking it up for more than 135.00 until they can remedy its issues. When your keyboard is that software dependant you can't afford to make mistakes.

Best Keyboard ever!
All the good things:
1) Super easy and blazing fast wireless connection
2) It sounds beautiful, so satisfying to type on.
3) comfortable ergonomics, especially with the provided wrist support. Comfortable for long sessions.
4) Rgb is easily customizable and is bright and neat.
5) Heavy and feels premium.
6) (my favorite) custom button, and scroll wheel on top right for easy volume control or assigning shortcuts.
Cons:
A little pricey.

It is one of the best of the best keyboards out there! It connects to armory crate and has lots of settings in that. It has shortcut keys in it. I definitely recommend it! It's just ASMR! Pretty durable and keys come off easily. Also it's not too big, meaning it's a perfect size for a gaming keyboard!

Gaming performance is strong, with very low latency and customizable RGB lighting that can be controlled via hotkeys or the Armoury Crate software. The keyboard can last for hundreds of hours on a single charge, so you won’t find yourself constantly plugging it in. I’m using an ROG PC case, and the keyboard’s RGB effects match perfectly with the lighting inside my case. Def worth it to buy!

Keyboard is great. Responsive, low latency, and multiple modes of connection. Only problem I have had with it is the USB charging connection. Yesterday I turned my computer on and within 2 minutes the cord got liquid hot (literally) and fused itself to the charging port. The keyboard began to swell and now I can’t charge the keyboard. It does still work in hyper-polling and Bluetooth somehow (until the battery goes dead). Pretty frustrating for something as expensive as this was. Trying to start the warranty process with Asus is a headache to say the least. If this hadn’t happened, I would give this keyboard 5 stars all day long. Now I’m out a keyboard until I can figure out how to get it repaired or replaced under warranty (hopefully)

Tried it out and got stuck playing for 4 hours. The keys are lit up, easy to see, spread out just right, they have a really solid press to them. The size is perfect being 80% size with 100% Functionality. The legs are 2 sizes and the wrist wrest will hook You right away. It has a ton of extra Macros built in. It can control multiple screens at once. I was running Steam, Browsing, and YT Music. The Big Eye button on the corner lets u swap the roller to music, volume, or screen scroll. I used the USB plug in and it synced up right away with no Drivers needed. I would highly recommend and purchase again. It came in a sealed clean and safe box. It comes with a key puller, USB to Type-C cord, 2 extra key bottoms. Give yourself some time with it amd you will start noticing all the unique features that make it so awesome.
If you choose to swap the space bar you have to be careful with the risers on the sides of the bottom of the space bar. They will come out with the bar if you don’t pull it off right. Of they do pop off, you can put them back inside the bar and push it down. They will click back in.
I started with a 30$ MageGee 100% keypad, Then I UGd to a 60$ MSI keyboard. I had a hard time typing with the letters so close. They were both wired and the keys weren’t back lit. They were also 100% size with the number pads. I really liked having the keypads but wanted something shorter for more mouse room.

Excellent keyboard, colors and the sound on each key are really good, a great option if you want a keyboard with an excellent quality to play your favorite PC games.

Lasted two years before some of the switches decided to stop working while I was in the middle of an expedition on clair obscur.
I may have lost my sanity for a second and the keyboard lost its... functionality.
Some notable things from the two years that I had it.. This thing has weight. Loved that about this thing. Doesn't slide around as easily. The switches suck. To be fair.. The actuation points are so low that it is noticed after I jumped to an older keyboard.
Most other features weren't used at all- the button to change what the scroll wheel did was in all honesty more of a hinderance than a benefit.

Why do I like the ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless keyboard?
- First and foremost, the sound and typing feel are fantastic. If you're into quiet, linear switches and enjoy the smooth, satisfying feel of high-end custom keyboards, this one delivers that experience at a more accessible price point.
- The hot-swappable switch feature is another big plus. It allows you to experiment with different switch types easily. I’m currently enjoying the pre-installed Snow switches, but I’m planning to try out a few others soon just for fun.
What are the downsides?
- One minor issue I’ve noticed is the RGB light under the spacebar. It becomes slightly distracting when viewed from a certain angle, especially at night with the brightness turned all the way up.

This is the best keyboard I have ever used or owned. Well worth the money. The quality and feel is among the best, its nice and heavy and stays put where you sit it. The magnetic padded armrest is a great bonus and helps prevent fatigue in the wrists. The mechanical buttons have the perfect amount of click for me, without being too loud. The Battery life is great! The RGB works really well and I like the illumination when the room is dim. I have this paird on the same 2.4 dongle with the Strix impact 3 wireless mouse, the two together are a great combo. Utilizing the 2.4 dongle over bluetooth makes for smooth near zero latency. I would recommend this keyboard.

I thought most people are just praising the asus because it’s an asus. Waited 2 weeks before I post this. I do play a couple of games but I write a ton of code. I did not expect this at all to be honest. Love the click sound as well , as I am typing if there is no click it means I missed something before I continue typing the rest of a possibly 1000 lines php script. It’s such a joy to use. So this one is a keeper and just ordered the higher up one as well for my second desk top. So the Azoth arrived tomorrow. Can’t wait. Seriously. They are pricy: you get every penny’s worth. Had the Logitech x915. Great keyboard. Slim. Awesome. The asus is just better in my opinion. I may buy another 915 dut to its incredible high grade contraction and slim style but will go with the G G X 915 (usb-c not the micro usb) and have the best of everything. Can do three? Get this. The azuth. And the gg x915.

What I Love:
I’ve been using the ROG Strix Scope II 96 Full Size since October/November 2024, and after six months, I can confidently say this keyboard is top tier in terms of build quality. Every keystroke feels super satisfying—the clickiness is just right, and I can actually feel the difference in pressure when gaming, which is a huge plus.
It’s also my daily driver for work. The ability to seamlessly switch between Bluetooth and wired mode with the small toggle switch in the back is super convenient. Battery life? No complaints—easily lasts a full 8-hour workday without breaking a sweat.
What I Dislike:
If you’ve used any ASUS gear before, you already know the struggle that is Armoury Crate. It's honestly a bit of a nightmare. That said, I do appreciate that for this keyboard, ASUS offers just the AC module directly from their site—way better than having to deal with the full software suite.
Overall Opinion:
Despite the software headache, this keyboard delivers where it really matters. Solid build, amazing typing and gaming feel, great battery—would definitely recommend!

Build quality is sturdy and premium, and I love that it looks sleek without being over the top gamer-y. If you're looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard that delivers on both performance and looks, this one’s a solid pick. The snow keys I got sound amazing, almost makes me want to type just to hear how satisfying it is. I tried the storm keys as well but I didn't really like the clicky sound that some gamers love, so i kept this one ( though the feel of the storm was still very nice.
I paired it with a ROG Keris wireless mouse and I can pair them both to the same Omni Dongle that is included, so its super convenient to only have to worry about one usb port being used on my laptop (though i can easily flip and switch on the back and go fully wired with the provided usb-c when a competitive game calls for it. Also has a Bluetooth mode if you aren't bothered by the slight latency that it inevitably happens with any BT device.
At this point I've only ever been impressed by Asus's ROG line and I will be sticking with them for years to come. I cant speak to the longevity of the battery life as I've only been using it for about a week but I can say that a single charge lasts me multiple days of heavy use and I'm sure if it could go for a week or more with less usage and lower rbg brightness.
Each of the 5 stars is greatly deserved. I'm sure Ill be using this keyboard for years.

I've been using the Asus Rog Strix Scope II for months now, and I have to say that I've enjoyed every moment of it. Here are some of the key features that I love:
- It's a full-size keyboard in a new compact size
- There are no compromises on build materials
- It has built-in hotkeys and a multi-function button
- The battery life is long
- It comes with a comfortable wrist rest for long gaming or productivity sessions

Seems like a nice keyboard.
I have a Varmilo with MX Blacks, and I had a K70 with MX reds, but it recently died.
This feels like a very nice in between with smooth key strokes, minimal noise, no click, but firmer than red and much softer than blacks. Blacks are nice but they get tiring. Reds bottom out if you are a fast typer.
This seems nice overall for both a lot of typing, and gaming as the keys are somewhat stiff to type which makes it not too fatiguing, but responsive enough to provide a good feeling while gaming.
I'd consider this again if I had to go buy another.

Definitivamente, el mejor teclado que puede existir, no me arrepiento de haberlo comprado.

I'm old school. I need, require even, tactile touch. Click click click. It's the sound of commerce. It's confirmation the user completed an action. It's so important for humans, billion$ are spent getting haptic feedback to feel like the real thing. It can be a bit hokey.
The keyboard came professionally, if not lovingly, packaged. Like a presentation gift. Any graduate would love it (with mouse, too). No wrapping required. It's significantly sturdy. It's art. I won't comment further because I'm not familiar with it yet and the functions it has, which are many.
Integrated connection options are a gamechanger. I tried the options and didn't notice any change in performance. You might not even see the USB receiver storage slot for months because Bluetooth auto connected. (It's on the back edge).
Note: I've been cut, and I'm sure as some of you have, too, by items we'd never think would or could have sharp edges. Plastics even. So, It's the first thing I check, running my index finger, with significant pressure, around the edges. They aren't rounded, but definitely not sharp. It's quality work. You can even feel the quality before opening the box. It's heavy. It'll stay put. I feel like I'm back on my old Data General Dasher keyboard picking parts for defibrillators . It's welcoming and satisfying to "hear myself working". If you go long enough at an even pace, it's soothing.

Excellent support over missing parts. Happy customer!
Missing one of the adjustment legs from the keyboard chassis. The USB C cable and alternate space bar were also not present, but I’m not concerned with these.
Hopefully the missing standoff can be provided or the unit could just be swapped for a cool 5 star.

Item arrived quickly, just missing some small bits.

The feel of the factory switches are amazing. I love the curve on the key caps. Definitely mod the internal part for less of a clank sound on the space bar. Not worth the price ($150) if you're looking for absolute customization without hassle.
I'm disappointed on a well known brand to fail to meet expectations on their customization software. There are two softwares to download. One for the macros, and the second for the lighting customizations. The Aura Creator fails. After several times trying to troubleshoot on my own. Reddit users also reported the same.

Keys feel nice, very long battery life, good quality of the product. Offers a lot of stability when typing.
I got it on discount so I consider it good value for my money.
I'm used to more clicky keys, coming off an optical keyboard, but this one has nice sound and feel (I got the Snow keys). Certainly considered if you like thocky but not very loud keys.
Edit: Only a year into use some keys are exhibiting double-clicking (even after cleaning the keys) and my Enter led burned out. This is after about 1.5 years of use so taking off 2 stars.

I'm stuck on my couch for a couple months with a broken leg. I bought a generic wireless mouse and keyboard and returned them after 1 day. I then purchased these as I use an ASUS ROG motherboard and graphics card already. Both the mouse and keyboard were very easy to set up and use. I am using them in the room next to my office without any issue. Typing is very smooth and the switch action is very responsive.. I'm very happy with them both. (Mouse is ASUS ROG Spatha X Wireless Gaming Mouse)
