Okay for a couple weeks, then develops an internal click

Bought these a few weeks ago and while the sound is okay enough for casual listening and voice over, the headphones have since developed an intermittent clicking that is incredibly annoying. Unplugging and replugging them, turning off/unplugging my preamp does nothing to fix it (and it happens even while the preamp is only transmitting power to them.) It just comes and goes as it pleases. Next time I think I'll spring for a Sony.

Excellent value; Audio-Technica delivers in spades!

I've paid more money for headphones that satisfied me half as much as these did. To echo many of the other reviews: These are refurbished? Mine look (and feel) minty-fresh!

It's so much easier to dive into the details of the music I listen to when using these rather than earbuds. Circumaural designs trump all, and a relatively flat frequency curve means you aren't hearing your songs flattered and/or ruined by an excess of bass, mids, or treble. "Tonight, Tonight" by Smashing Pumpkins is my go-to for testing headphones. With these, everything in the track springs out, ready to take the spotlight of my comically-short attention span.

Of course, I've tried higher-dollar offerings. Sennheiser, in particular, make some nearly-unbeatable cans. However, Sennheisers are self-proclaimed "audiophile grade" and cost more than most bicycles.

The cable feels nice and solid, the plastic of the housing is fingerprint-proof, and the faux-leather of the padding is very soft and comfortable. I'd have no problem wearing these for hours at a time.

If you've got $60 to burn and need some capable headphones, give these a shot. They're worth more than the money asked for them, without a shadow of a doubt.
