Works well for a Tiny SA
So far works great. Bought to check levels on FM signal generators used to service vintage receivers. Fairley easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of space on my work bench.

Connector was very snug when putting in headphones. When removing the headphones, the connector came off the PCB and was loose inside the case. Upon opening the TinySA to remove it, it appears as though 2 of the solder joints were cold.

Ordered the 1st one and it failed the self test.
The second one arrived today and it also failed the self test.
The concept is great but this batch seems to be junk.
ALWAYS run the self test upon receipt.
There is no other way of knowing if the unit is good.

Pretty impressed with this tiny spectrum analyzer. Yes, it's not some 60K analyzer performer but for the price it's pretty darn amazing. I have attached a frequency generator and just put in a pilot frequency of 3000 Mhz. You can see its reading 2.999500 GHZ. It's a bit noisy especially when you get up to the higher frequencies but that's to be expected at this price point for what I need its perfect and very cool. There are a ton of features, the unit is a touch screen and comes with a pick and a pencil as a stylist. The cables are needed to do the initial calibration to the unit and the website will walk you through that process. The book will too but it's easier to watch a video. You will have to go to their website to get the code to unlock the 5.3Ghz top end frequency. Don't know why they make you do it that way, but they do and it's easy to update.
This is an impressive spectrum analyzer. Its size, portability, battery life, and usability is outstanding.

I like this portable spectrum analyzer, it is super small, but the 4 inch color display
Is sharp and big enough to see what I need.. I found the touch screen works ok and it’s pretty easy to
Navigate the menus.
I been using this to scan vhf uhf bands for signals, and
Checking harmonics of transmitters.. The battery last a long time. Nice you can use it as signal generator
Too and has AM and FM modulation.. while I am happy it has headphone jack to monitor FM signals,
I found it quality is pretty poor, and one you turn it on you lose your frequency sweep of the band.
But overall, for the price and portability, I am very happy to have this on my test bench..

I got this Spectrum Analyzer to satisfy my hobby and curiosity.
I've been an EEE (Electrical / Electronics / Electromagnetic) engineer since 1984 and it amazes me when products like the TinySA comes along. In my video I simply show some of the accuracy if I reviewed the entire unit it would take more space than this page allows.
I've been using this unit for several weeks now and have not been disappointed, one note before using yours (you know you want one because you're here reading the reviews) calibrate the screen using the stylus and life will be good.
Thank you for taking your time to read my review & watch my video -- I hope it was HELPFUL.
