Works great - Versatile and portable - Great for unmanned locations

This is a good quality camera that had many applications

The 4G LTE Cellular feature allows it to be placed in the most remote of areas; even without power

In an environment where the unit has direct sun most of the day, and not too high trafficked area ,this device can operate without any human action whatsoever

This is per perfect for Realtors that need to monitor a home

Has full motion detection with notifications

It's made durably and feels pretty heavy duty

Super easy to install and use

The unit literally walks you through the process by itself

Turn the camera on, scan a QR code and you are up and running

Delivers semi high quality 4 megapixel images with a full blown 360 degree pan tilt zoom function that works perfectly

This comes in at a pretty good value

I've used these brand before and they're pretty reliable. Even in the scorching Phoenix sun

Super easy to use

I do like the camera as it’s easy to set up. The app is also easy to set up and use as very nice features with easy set up for notifications and has excellent motion detection, excellent battery life with the solar power I find that the battery is always 85% or more even after it rains and there’s not much sun it still is 85 or above never had a low battery on it. Super easy to set up. Wi-Fi seems to have pretty good distance. I was able to set up from the house to the barn which is probably 250 feet from the house. Solar panel includes a nice long cable so you can mount the solar panel stuff from the camera, which makes notability much easier with more options. The app is also a popular Camera app as I have two other cameras that use the same app.

DATA PLAN REQUIRED

3 stars for no other reason than I did not use this product because a DATA PLAN IS REQUIRED. It will not work otherwise.

I was pretty jazzed about this Solar Security Camera - wireless. IT CLEARLY STATES NO WIFI

I missed that fact. You MUST have a subscription to use this camera - no if ands or buts..

The camera looks great. It's lightweight. The solar panel is lightweight and nice looking. It comes with the hardware you need to hook it up. It seems like a good price point for a very nice security kit.

The price seems really fair for the ease, the clear picture, and especially the peace of mind.

This is a great system. Out of the box, charge it to start using, add the app to your phone, connect it, and you're up and running. We added our own SD card that we had on hand. We have not chosen to purchase the monthly data plan yet. The only complaint my husband has is that the charging cord is forced to make a hard turn directly out of the port, so they should have put that on the side, or allowed a little more space to allow for a softer turn (shown in a photo here). The picture quality is excellent. My husband was able to send it from his phone to the tv, so here's a photo of our tv, showing what the security camera is looking at in our backyard. Easy to make it move left and right, up and down, and there's a moment delay to see it on your screen, but not a big deal. I appreciate this type of thing, being a woman. If you're ever home alone, it's nice to see around your house from being safely locked inside, and to be able to confirm that your gates are closed, that type of thing. The price seems really fair for the ease, the clear picture, and especially the peace of mind.

Excellent Coverage Area

This Aurumbach 4G LTE cellular solar security camera works extremely well. I tested it thoroughly, and I am very impressed with the overall performance, video quality, night vision, solar charging, and security features.

One of the best things about this camera is that it operates over the 4G LTE cellular network, so it does not require WiFi. That makes it very useful for remote property, driveways, fields, job sites, outbuildings, farms, cabins, or any location where regular internet service is not available. Just remember that because it uses cellular service, you will need a monthly data/service plan.

The solar charging capability is excellent, and the camera is very practical for outdoor use. I also like the PTZ 360-degree viewing, motion tracking, color night vision, and built-in eSIM. With the cloud upgrade, the AI detection features add even more value for monitoring and security.

Overall, this is an awesome wireless outdoor security camera. It is reliable, practical, feature-packed, and especially useful for property security where WiFi is not available. Based on my testing and positive experience, I highly recommend it.

Great remote use camera but note the cellular fees

This is a really well built camera. Setup is fast and easy and menus are well laid out and intuitive (see photos). The solar panel works well and I expect with normal alerts it should easily be able to recharge in use. It comes with mounting hardware for the panel and camera and the camera image can be flipped depending on the orientation of the mount. The charging port and sd card ports are both covered by a rubber housing so it should be able to withstand rain or humidity. When you plug the solar panel in, it also plugs into the rubber grommet on the back maintaining some water resistance. Video clarity is pretty good although using a 4G cellular connection, the video lags a bit for live viewing. This doesn't impact the motion detection or recording, just live video. It will also send push notifications when a human is detected and, it can send SMS texts or phone calls to you for a fee. Out of the box there is a trial period of a few hundred megabytes before you need to sign up for a plan ($15/month) and then SMS or phone notification plans range from around 3.99 per month (30 texts) to 100 for lifetime SMS and call alerts. The camera can also function using just an SD card but you will not be notified if motion is detected and won't have any cloud storage. Overall it is a really well functioning unit for off grid or remote viewing at close distance (typical of security cameras) and the price for the camera and solar panel combo is a great deal. The fees for service are too high for 4G service though which will run you 180 or more dollars per year depending on the packages you choose. For this reason it gets 3 stars. Great build and functionality but you get nickle and dimed for 4G service features if you are going to use this as a longer term solution.

Doesn’t start up easily - great picture quality - needs subscription

When I first got this security camera, I had a terrible time getting it to connect to the app. Once I finally did get it connected, I was able to get the camera to work well. The image quality from it is really quite good, even at night. The solar panel works well to keep it charged. The app could be better, but some of that is also because a lot of the features require a subscription to use. I’m not a huge fan of this and feel like that’s something that isn’t made really clear when ordering it.

Overall, I feel like this is an ok camera once you get it running. I do have some concerns with how well it will work if the wifi isn’t running at its strongest at any point.

Does not connect to the App/Network

The security camera will not connect to there app, I have the latest version of the app. Have charged it, have given all the permissions to the app. When I switch on it keeps saying connecting to the network, does it for few minutes and stops with a message cannot connect to the network. The product scan takes us to Tuya app, I tried that too and that failed to connect as well. Have tried it now for over 14-15 times with the Aurumbach app. I have there wifi camera which works fine. There are no instructions included in the box either.
