Awesome lights, very well made!!
For $179.99 This is a sweet rock light kit and great value for the money. I wasn't sure what to expect but these are colorful and BRIGHT!!
I downloaded the app and was pleasantly surprised that it just works! I was expecting issues but after pairing, I was easily able to select color patterns, adjust brightness, and pick colors! I also tried the sound reactivity, and it used my phone microphone to make the lights react. Not bad!
The lights themselves are very well made, decently thick metal housings and silicone-covered LEDs. The wires are of good quality and everything hooked up quickly.
I'm debating installing them in a visible spot, but they light the ground up really well too. A
My video is a test on the ground before install, I just clicked through a few color types. I hope this is helpful!

High quality, bright and comes with remote and app control
Auxbeam has become my go-to for high quality automotive and off-road electronics and lighting. I always know that I'm getting premium quality materials and construction and well designed function and controls. These rock lights are no exception. They are very nice quality and with the plug and play design they are simple to install and connect together. With 8 pods they can provide light on front, back, sides and each wheel well. The angled dual light design has 15 LED's per lens (30 per light) which spreads the light wider than other designs. The LEDs are very bright and the can produce just about any color along with a bunch of lighting effects. These are larger lights so be sure your application has room for them. They're not crazy big or anything but they are not tiny like others I've used so just be sure you know your application. A remote control is included and they can be controlled through the Auxbeam app. You will not be disappointed by these.

Best rock lights out there
The Auxbeam 8-pod RGB rock light kit is a strong combination of brightness, reliability, and visual impact. The dual-side beam design makes a wide, even spread of light under the vehicle, eliminating harsh dark spots and delivering a smooth, continuous glow. Whether used for off-road visibility or aesthetic underglow, the overall appearance is bold, clean, and attention-grabbing.
The way these look and show off: the RGB color range is a major highlight. With millions of color options and dynamic lighting effects, the kit can completely change the look of a truck, ATV, or RV. The lighting effects feel modern and customizable, while the 6000K white mode adds a clean, functional look when needed. The brake light feature also enhances visibility and safety with a sharp red flash when stopping.
Build quality contributes directly to reliability. The die-cast aluminum housings feel solid and help with heat management, while the IP67 waterproof rating ensures dependable performance in rain, mud, dust, and rough terrain. The included vibration-resistant pads further improve long-term reliability by keeping the pods stable during off-road driving.
Control options are flexible and user-friendly. The Bluetooth app offers extensive programmability with over 180 lighting modes, music sync, and voice-reactive settings, while the RF remote provides quick access without needing a phone. Both options work smoothly, giving consistent and reliable control over lighting changes.
Installation is straightforward with a plug-and-play 12V system, and the expandable design (up to 12 pods per controller) adds strong long-term value for larger setups or future upgrades.
Overall, this kit delivers excellent brightness, strong reliability, a highly customizable appearance, and solid build quality—making it a great value option for both functional lighting and standout vehicle styling.

Auxbeam 4 Pods RGB LED Rock Lights
Got these rock lights for my 2019 Toyota Tacoma and though I prefer the white lights during the hours of darkness but if you're just parking your truck there. You can switch the color via the app. Installation is very easy. Just need a switch power and ground. These lights, the housing appears to be made from aluminum and then potted with a clear epoxy that doesn't obscure the light output. Though these are the 4 pod kit, you can get more lights and daisy chain them down the line if you want to.
I do have the Auxbeam 8 gang light controller and wish somehow these can be hooked up and integrated with the box but I think you need to the control box to power and control the lights. The app itself is safe from the app store and it only ask permission for the bluetooth connectivity, so that is a plus. Within the app you can pretty much control everything the light can do, from brightness, strobe, and changing the color or use the various modes.
Just finish installing this on the truck and can't comment how reliable these lights are but based on my experience with Auxbeam. They stand behind their products and I haven't had any issues with any of their products. Great product and company who makes quality lighting related products.

Even and bright underglow! Great colors.
These are genuinely impressive rock lights for the money.
The dual-side lighting really does make a difference compared to single-sided pods I have seen before.
Everything under my truck gets evenly lit without those dark patches you normally get. Setup was straightforward plug-and-play on my 12V system, took maybe an hour to mount all eight around the wheel wells. The brake light flash feature is actually useful and not just gimmicky.
Drivers behind me can see it clearly at night which adds a layer of safety on dirt roads.
The app gives tons of modes and the music sync works well enough for a party atmosphere.
The aluminum housing feels solid and the vibration pads kept everything secure on rough terrain so far.

These are some monster rock lights
Only reason this isn’t getting five stars is because of the failed units I’ve had. I went through two sets before I had eight working pods. It was always two that were failing on me. I replaced it with a second set and out of all those eight, three of them worked. The rest of them that wouldn’t work would be white Car. The Daisy chain is definitely packed up on an install. If you have to install these one by one with each wire going to the switch, you’re in big trouble because you’re gonna be hiding about 1 mile of wiring. Install is a breeze. Just hooking up your car battery and you can just disconnect that you with the Bluetooth. Mine was hooked up to the auxiliary, which doesn’t make much easier for me. It’s pretty bright and I am impressed. I just have them thread out and that’s good enough. Random locations underneath the Gladiator. Some of the dynamic color mills are pretty sweet. Some of them aren’t the best but I don’t think there’s one out there that is any good. Quality of them seem excellent so I’m confused on why a couple of them would fail, but customer service was quick to help me out. I’ve had them been on my truck for two weeks so hopefully they stay working through the Buffalo Winter.
I don’t have any LED pops from other companies, but I’ve had a few. This is number one so far. when I update this review with a video of the lights later when it’s dark.

Bright, customizable lights that really stand out
I installed these Auxbeam RGB rock lights on my truck and they look awesome. The brightness is impressive, and the dual-side lighting really helps spread the glow evenly around the wheel wells.
The app and remote make it easy to change colors and modes, and the music sync feature is actually pretty fun. I also like the brake mode—it adds an extra layer of visibility.
Installation took some time to route everything cleanly, but once set up, they’ve been working great. Overall, a solid lighting kit if you want to add some style and visibility to your ride.

Very bright and easy to setup!
These rock light leds are extremely bright! They light up everything below the vehicle where they are mounted!
The colors are great and the customizable features are almost excessive! You have so many options at your disposal. This kit is the most user controlled unit I have ever seen! The app was super easy to setup. The connection needs to be selected in the app not your device’s bt connections list. There is nearly no delay in between the app selection and the light changes. The app has a bunch (+100) presets as well as manual controls.
The housings for each light pod is very well constructed and tough. And the rubber mounting pads are fantastic for both flat and tube mounting. The housing also has a gel like film rather than a hard screen so it won’t chip or crack if rocks kick up. The wires are also very good at sealing out water. I didn’t do the formal submersion testing, but the work great as advertised!

Still the best brand around
I've been using Auxbeam products on my Atvs for more than 3 years now and they are really good made. In addition, these rock lights are super durable and great for offroading. They are water and dustproof and weather resistant which works in any seasons and conditions. The led light on them is super bright which could be remotely controlled by your cellphone through the app. Besides, they comes with all harnesses which makes installation easier.

Well Worth the Cost!
All 8 LED RGB pods came as ordered!!! The lights are extremely bright and allow for numerous different lighting color combos!!
I love that it comes with the correct wiring for the Brake Light Mode. It also is completely waterproof including all the wiring it came with, as listed in the description. These features work well on both my Highlifter and my Hellcat Charger.
Install was easy and all wiring included had the perfect amount of length. All had solid quality and clear easy to connect, connection points!
The app makes controlling the lights super simple and allows to easily explore the 180 modes. Overall, these rock lights are well worth the cost and I’d recommend to anyone looking for cost effective lighting upgrades for their vehicle!

Bright, easy control, short wires, app requires location
These are nice lights, and I cant wait to get them installed. I've done the power-on self test, and checked out some of the features. The video shows me cycling through the lights with the remote and testing the braking wire, but more can be done with the app. I just cant film it with my phone while still using the app. I did however get to test some of the other features of the app involving color changing and patterns.
The lights are quite bright, and change color easily. There are a couple of colors, like yellow, that appear somewhat washed out, but you don't have to use them. Each light comes with two rubber backs, one for flat surfaces and one for curved surfaces. These rubber backs look sturdy, and should stand up well to the elements. Each of the four lights come with two small bolts. I'm a bit puzzled at the size of the bolts. They are small and equipped with nuts, as if there was some place on my truck where there are a couple of convenient holes drilled and which I can reach the back to screw on the nut. That probably never being the case, I'm surprised that these did not come with self tapping screws, or at least screws that would fit into and hold to a hole drilled for them. There is almost no chance that all four locations for the light will be free in the back to use the nut, so I will have to get some different screws to install these.
Speaking of installation - you can see from the picture how very short are the pigtails for the power supply. The whole wire is about a foot from the controller, meaning you would need to mount it very close to the battery, or have some other 12V power elsewhere in the car to attach it. It would be better to have provided some sort of connector, like SAE so that you could run the wires where you want. The fact that they have ring terminal adapters, make it look like they are supposed to go on battery posts, but they can only be spread about three inches apart. I will have to cut them off and solder on an adapter, so that I can more centrally mount the controller in the vehicle. Without being mounted in a more center-front position, the two strings of lights (two each) will not reach to there intended locations, and i did not see any options for any "extension wires" for the connectors from the controller to the lights or between lights if that distance is longer than the existing cords.
I've removed a star for the lack of proper mounting hardware (in my opinion) and the poor choice for the connection harness, but only a single star, since as a veteran DIYer and electronics buff, i can easily fix these problems myself. If you are not handy when it comes to making these kinds of changes, then you may want to have these professionally installed.
Here's another feature?? that may put you off. I'm not sure if it warrants removing a second star or not. The app requires location permissions. Why on Earth would a light controller need to know where you are. Of course you can use the remote to control the lights instead of the app, but the app is much more versatile. If you have privacy concerns about tracking, the app may warrant loss of another star.

Rock lights that also double as work place safety lights!
This may sound strange, but I was able to hook this rock light set up to my 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. Instead of attaching it inside the wheel wells, I put them on the front and rear bumpers. I work in a construction area and being able to use these as safety lights was a dream come true. The listing was exactly as it was described; mounting and wiring was simple to do; no need to cut or attached wires or even install a switch. All what was required is to drill some small holes to secure the lights to my bumper and then attach the power cables to the cars battery. Using the remote, I am able to wirelessly control the lights by changing its color, brightness, and even the strobe speeds. From flashing yellow, and strobe red; I have the freedom to control all aspects of these LED lights. They can even be tied into your brake lights to use as brake lights, very cool. As for reliability, the frame is aluminum and the lenses are thick and damage resistant. All the things needed when you are surrounded by potential hazards.
