I purchased Auxbeams 8gang switch over a year ago, I’ve since installed a solar panel and wanted to have access to my switch panel when my truck was off. I emailed customer service with my dilemma and they wrote back immediately with a solution. Not only did they have a solution they also looked up my info and sent me the correct wire harness at no charge.

This thing is a game changer in the sxs world. Wiring everything to the main box and only having one cable to go between that and the switch panel makes having rock lights, whip lights, and other accessories a much cleaner install.

But connecting it was a little tricky for me since I don't do electrical work. I was able to get it to go, but had to get a step down because the first one blew up I think when it was connected to my LiON Battery. I got a 48v step down to 12v and then was able to finish the project. Def recommend as their customer service was super easy to deal with too. I added a light bar, lights under the frame and in my wheel wells. I'll add other decorations to this now that its essentially plug and play. Thank you!

This switch panel is awesome! I hooked it to a converter box on my 36 volt ezgo golf cart . The panel gives you 8 ports to hook up any 12 volt items to control. I have a horn, blue tooth speakers and a USB already hooked up with a push of a button. Must buy if you want to hook up multiple devices to your batteries.

Satisfied with the product the install was easy enough. PSA: if you choose to hardwire straight to the battery and not to the ACC fuse, the screen will be always ON. There is no way to turn it off which is a bit unfortunate. Other than that no issues so far. I was able to mount the control box to the driver side fender making an adapter for the provided bracket.

Easy to install. Installed on my 23 4runner. Clean mounting on a Yota Expedition bracket. The controller is just velcroed to the dash for now. Currently only running ditch lights and raptor lights on it. More lights and an air horn on it's way.

This is my 2nd switch panel from Aux beam and I wish I bought this one in the first place! Love that I can change the color of the panel. Love that I can switch the function of the button. It works well with a bunch of lights and Train horn!

Bought this and installed it the same day. Unfortunately it wouldn't work. I got in contact with them and to my surprise there was an instant response from them and constant communication!! They told me they think the whole unit was bad and that they would send me a brand new one and said I would get it within 3-7 business days but I got it in the mail same day from the last email response! I swapped everything out and worked perfectly. To say that I am happy with how it works and the customer service with this company is would be an understatement! Highly recommend this product and will definitely be buying more things from them!

Hitting yes to submit my order hurt, but it was definitely worth it. This is MUCH cleaner than my original plan to just run a bunch of toggle switches. And this way I only had to run one small premade wire bundle into the cabin instead of a bunch of wires.
I'm taking a star away because I can't get the app to control the buttons like it's supposed to and because the app just keeps crashing over and over again. Also, as other reviewers have stated, the memory function only works if you turn the switch panel off and back on again. When you turn the vehicle off and back on, everything hooked up to the auxbeam is off by default.

Easy install, pretty happy with the performance. Added some lights to the roof rack and ran out of open switch slots. Installed in 2018 Tacoma, bought a 3D printed panel from Etsy and it looks pretty clean. I decided to run it directly to the battery with a toggle switch so I can use the lights without ACC on.
Only a couple of complaints. The iOS app is hella generic and incomplete when it comes to the interface, needs a makeover badly.
I wish it was a little smarter also, I have 2 free buttons that I wish could assign to operate a group of lights while still being able to operate the individual lights themselves. Maybe a future app update can add that.
Other than those inconveniences it works perfectly, I recommended if you’re budget minded like myself.

So I have had the opportunity to try out a few of the auxbeam products. They have all been of good quality construction. This 8 switch panel is no exception.
I have had a previous generation of this product, and while that was nice, this is a much better setup.
The main power block is much more water resistant if not outright water proof. I should never have to test that as I would likely hydro-lock the engine if I submerge the power block.
Like the last kit, all the accessories are of good quality and build. Comes with a nice 60 amp resettable fuse as well.
The best part of this whole kit is the control panel - since you only have to run 1 control line through the firewall. All the accessory connections are going to be done at the main power block which is likely to be in the engine bay.
The bluetooth app is a nice toy/feature as it allows you to set the control panel cover, and control the switches - There’s even an option to group some of the buttons. The app allows 3 settings for the lighting - red - on/off, green - pulsing, blue - monentary. I’m not usually a fan of strobe, but you can dial down the frequency of the pulsing so it’s not so annoying.
There appears to be some button press combinations that allow you to pulse or momentary without going through the app. Nice touch.
If you have run stereo amps into you vehicle this will be a snap to setup.

If you are trying to figure out why you would need 8 switches - consider - Led bar, driving lights, rock lights, backup lights, front/rear camera, side lights, air compressor. front/rear diff if you have the electronic versions.

Kind of disappointed with end result, install was easy, quality seems good until I went to label the buttons and realized there’s no label decals. Contacted Auxbeam, we’ll see how they resolve this. Will update at a later time.

I like that I only have to run 1 wire through the firewall. Ez to install and set up. I haven't tried the wifi yet. But the screen is ez to program without it. The strobe function is a bonus (most likely not going to use it). I didn't want to drill the dash so I used valcro instead and it's perfect. I have a 52" lightbar, extra reverse lights, rock lights and few other hook up to it. And everything works as intended. Will update if anything changes.

I got this to hook up my winch and sets of fog lights and perform benchtop testing, and I am very impressed.
The app connected quickly is Bluetooth, and it allows group switches, including configuring all the switches in the group to perform exactly the same.
You can configure each group, or each individual to switch one of 3 ways, on/off, pulse, and momentarily switch.
A note, if you add a switch to a group, you cannot add it to another group, and all the switches in a group with operations in the same mode, IE on/off, pulse, or momentarily.
You can easily change the color of the backlight, as well as the brightness, and overall it is complete. Includes a breaker, a control box that includes extra fuses, as well as mounting brackets and zip ties.
See the video for a more detailed look at what you get, but overall I am very satisfied with this and like the idea of not having to run multiple wires back to my dash and just being able to control everything via this control panel, 5 stars.

This entire kit has been well designed and constructed of durable materials. The mounting plates are a nice solid steel, no inexpensive aluminum which means they will hold up well.
Installation is very easy with the switch panel connector minimizing any additional wiring for this ti be installed. The main fuse box is sealed up well against any moisture, also built into the lid are extra fuses and a fuse removal tool.
Definitely recommend this product based off the design and materials used, but the additional device features and configurations made this an easy choice for accessory control management.

They shipped me the box with a different, old, used, unbranded control unit. It does not fit anything in the package. The switch panel also has scuffs. I really regret this purchase.

As of this writing, I have not permanently installed this into my Jeep as I have not found the ideal mounting positions. However, I have done a mock-up mounting and the system works with no issues.
Cons: The app seems to have been constructed by the lowest bidder as it is full of spelling errors and has a non-intuitive interface. Solid-state relays are great and all, but it means there is virtually no chance of repair should one of them go bad.
Pros: The ability to control 8 separate accessories is obviously very handy when you're building out an off-roading rig. This gives you 2 30-amp, 2 20-amp, 2 10-amp, and 2 5-amp circuits to connect to, and you only need to run a single narrow cable through the firewall. RGB is a neat effect - not necessary, but very neat. The bluetooth capability is really cool, as it means I might be able to hide the control pad out of sight and use my phone to control my accessories as I get them all setup. Having solid state relays does work out to be a good thing in that they work at much colder temperatures than traditional relays, I only wish they were user-serviceable.
Time will tell if it holds up, but for now this is a great value for having a relay-driven accessory switch bank.

First I want to say this setup is very complete. All the options that it has are some that higher price switching systems don't even offer. The included sticker pack and mounts are awesome.
Pros:
- You can set the color to the switch controller to a custom color.
- You can set the switch to 3 modes. (on/off, momentary, strobe)
- The companion App is very intuitive and lets you use your phone as a controller, which is great, you don't need to keep going back and forth into your vehicle to change things.
- Ease of installation, may depend on your basic wiring skill.
- Provided brackets give you multiple options to where and how to install the panel and the controller.
- Instructions are very well made and pictures included are actually useful.
- I have been treated well by their customer service. (yours experience may vary)
Cons:
- I really don't have any cons. I will update this if I come across any.
Suggestions:
-Test it before installing it. I do this to everything I buy, just to not to have to uninstall everything if there is a problem and have to send back.
Wish list:
- I wish the App had more capabilities.
Some examples are:
- More strobe patterns.
- Ability to dim a switch, maybe just the lower amp ones? Great for scene lighting.
If you have been on the fence about pulling the trigger on this, get off the fence. Maybe you don't have to get this high end version. The lower option iteration are fine too. I have had great experience with Auxbeam products. This set up is more than half the price of more expensive options that don't even include mounts.
