Perfect for listening to music off SD card!
I was looking for a music player to play music from an SD card that has good volume. The only negative I have found is that when you turn the volume up high it starts getting a little staticky sounding. In the video I didn't even turn it up as high as it can go. With the right volume for us there is no loss of quality. Once you turn it up and it starts getting staticky, to get rid of it you have to turn it off and turn it back on with the lower volume. I wanted three more so I found the best price on their website. Can't say yet how long the battery lasts, but I was just looking for something that would last at least a few hours and most people agree that it lasts at least 6 hours. I definitely can recommend for someone looking for a decent device to use for listening to music off of a microSD card.

3.5 years old and going strong 10/10 well worth the money
I work in construction and have put this little radio through way more than it ever should have been through. It’s been rained on, dropped multiple times only once or twice on concrete. the highest drop was from the top of a ladder about 16’ and it’s lived in a pretty dusty environment its entire life. It fits perfectly in a tool belt or tackle box. I’ve had it on multiple fishing trips and camping trips. Once mine decides it’s had enough I will be buying another one.

Very lightweight
Got for my father to use while mowing the lawn. He was able to figure out how to program it, although it did take him awhile. He also said he needs earbuds for it because it isn't very loud.
Overall, so far, it seems like a good product.

Very good but not quite great.
First off, I love this little Bluetooth radio.
Pros: compact, digital tuner, preset station functionality, Bluetooth, decent sound quality for the size, and clear sound. Great radio for quiet settings like the office (that’s where I use mine).
Cons: reception isn’t always great. It could use an antenna. Also, don’t believe the item description where it says the micro USB cable will act as an external antenna. based on my experience, this is not true.

1/3 of screen arrived broken
The unit seems decent enough. However 1/3 of the screen is dead making it hard to navigate setting or see file names. One of the main reasons I bought this was so I could read and navigate files so that sucks. No thrilled with my purchase.

I bought this to my father and I asked him about all the features so I can rate this and be able be as honest as posible and he was totally pleased. He said the radio lasts up to 7 hours a day charged and the volume is excelente and really high. I recommend it if you are looking for a fm radio rechargeable and easy to take with you.

The Perfect little portable radio!!!
With long rechargeable battery life, the ability to plug into bigger speaker systems and almost perfect radio reception, this machine rocks! It also has the ability to search and program all the local stations in the area you are currently in. I use it in my bedroom with custom speaker boxes that I made myself and it sounds about as clear as FM radio can get. Buy one and love it...

Impressive Sound and Perfect Size
Absolutely in love with this little yet powerful thing! Bought it intending to use out on the water while kayaking, but the uses are endless for this.
The sound quality is ridiculously strong-something I was shocked at for how small it is. You can see in the photo the comparison against some keys on my laptop and the MicroSD adapter for all the music I am loading into this from the computer! But I still have the option of using the Bluetooth or FM radio if I’m in the mood for something else.
Incredibly happy with this purchase!

i loaned it to a coworker it suprised him so much after 2 days he gave me money to get him in which came in today i charged it for him he'll have to get himself a memory card for his other listening options but i expect he'll be very satisfied

Review of this unit and 3 other FM / SD / portable / Bluetooth speakers on .
First off, I want to say I did NOT receive any item for review. I just like to leave reviews because that is what I base MY purchases off of, so I am giving back.
This is really a review on 4 of the top rated bluetooth, FM Radio and SD (tf) Card portable radios. You may do better with another unit IF you do not need the FM, portable or SD Card. All performed well with bluetooth connection. I will rank each radio listed and pictured based on a one to ten in EACH category, then overall. Something to keep in mind, all battery time listed on any site is false, unless you listen to it on a level 2? I listed REAL battery times on a loudish 80% volume. All unites reviews are in the $30 price range::::
(((Avantree 3-in-1, THIS LISTING)))
Sound quality = 6, small unit with one speaker. Ok for what it is.
FM reception and ease of use = 10, no need for a cord and picks up my hardest station.
SD Card (all micro) = 10, only unit I have EVER found to shuffle SD Songs. If you listen to SD Cards and want it independent from your phone, get this one.
Portability = 9, makes a good pocket size, plug into aux with this one.
Battery time, change capability = 5, replaceable with BL-5C (1020mah) Runs 3 hours on 80% level. Must get a 2nd battery unless you use headphones, in ear.
Overall = 8, If you're looking for personal sound with real FM and SD capabilities, get this one.
(((Wireless Speaker by Simpowel, )))
Sound quality = 8.5
FM reception and ease of use = 8, LED in grill.
SD Card (all micro) = 7, no shuffle mode
Portability = 7, not a pocket unit.
Battery time, change capability = 8, can use replaceable 18650 cheap and good 2500mah. Runs 5 hours on 80% level.
Overall = 8, Displays the station you are on and volume in LED grill unit. See pic. Overall, the best combo of all featured, champion of none.
(((Antimi Bluetooth Speaker)))
Sound quality = 7.5, for the size. Does very well for a small unit.
FM reception and ease of use = 6, several station do not come in without plugging the cord in. LCD Display.
SD Card (all micro) = 7 no shuffle mode.
Portability = 8
Battery time, change capability = 9, ran 17 hours at an 80% level.
Overall = 7
(((Rockville RockWave)))
Sound quality = 9, Best in class for base, volume and treble.
FM reception and ease of use = 2, poor reception even with the cord plugged in, no way to see the station you are on. If you never change your powerful station, it is usable.
SD Card (all micro) = 7, no shuffle mode.
Portability = 6, for the sizes I am reviewing. Handle is handy!
Battery time, change capability = 7, Ran 4 hours on 80% level.
Overall = 7, hard to see controls and volume is also your long press skip. If you really just want bluetooth get this one or the other 19,837 listed online.

Replaces non functioning truck radio
I have a 25 yr old 22 ft long box truck - you can imagine the noise level inside the cab of this truck. The original non standard sized radio died years ago. THIS radio (hanging on a magnetic hook from the steel cab roof - see pic) is a wonderful (if redneck) replacement. It is loud enough to overcome the truck cab noise, gets a good FM signal inside the steel cab, and will even act as an SD card player and Bluetooth speaker. Plays for a long time between charges. I imagine it would also be a great portable unit for a bicycle, motorcycle, or horse-drawn buggy as well

The perfect portable
Just the portable player I’ve been wanting for years. First off it is the only one under $50 that plays random selections from my 64 gig micro SD card so it doesn’t start at the same spot and can play my entire collection. Starts where it stopped last time. Having a screen makes all the difference in knowing how it’s setup and who’s playing etc. . Screen shuts off after about a minute to save battery. Mine is lasting 9 or so hours of continuous use.
Best feature is having an on/off volume knob so you can adjust in the dark. Radio presets are pretty simple once you learn how to set it up. Bluetooth and plug in options as well.
Most of the time I just start it on the Sd card and hit skip for anything that doesn’t fit the mood. Weird “SD Card mode” on start up is a bit irritating till U learn to leave the volume low for a second.
Sound quality is good for a small mono speaker. You can adjust the equaliser for your preference but don’t expect blowout bass. Plenty loud for camping , guests, travel or office.
For $30 this is a great player. My second one is on order. Great for a gift for anyone.

I used it in my car after my car stereo quit working
My old car radio broke. I enjoy to listen to NPR when I drive, but didn't want to spend money to install a new radio. So I bought this one to use in the car. Radio works excellent in my house and outdoors. Sound is amazing for such a small device. It really exceeded my expectation. I found some random hairties to secure it. See attached picture. It's pretty silly looking, but works great. Isn't it great manufacturer provides those rubber bands for use in the car?
Some radio stations sound good and some not inside the car. Sometimes signals are weak depending on where I drive. But this is a cheap way to solve my broken car radio problem. I am happy. Blue tooth and memory card are good too. I haven't tried.

Owned it for less than a month.
I like the design of the product.
It makes a humming sound at low volumes on FM mode. It does not make the sound on Bluetooth mode.
I can not get it to switch to AM mode.
The screen is starting to fail.

Yep, it's that small.
Close but no cigar. This radio is very small, which I like, but be sure to look at the dimensions before you order because I found the pictures to be misleading.
I wanted the radio mostly for listening to FM radio. I use one in the bathroom and my requirements are that it turns on right away (no messing with connecting it to anything), has good reception , a volume knob and not volume buttons, decent volume, and that it has digital present buttons that I can go through quickly.
Reception is not great but not too bad considering that it has no external antenna. Oh, that was the other thing, my girlfriend asked me to find a radio that didn't have an external antenna. Placed in the right locations it seemed to be okay. In some locations the static went up to 11.
It does find preset stations quickly, but I want to choose the station that goes with each button. It will give you something like 21 stations, but I'd just like 5 that I can go through quickly. That's about all I need or can remember. I love that you have preset buttons on the top, but unfortunately there is a very annoying pause before is changes stations. But if you use the skip forward button it tunes right into the next station. So if your stations happen to be close together you can skip forward and backward quickly but forgetaboutit if your radio gives one of your stations a 1 and the next 15. As far as I can tell there is no way to manually assign stations to each button. You gotta accept whatever the radio gives you. : (
So it's cool that it has all these different ways to play music and I'd probably use the bluetooth now and then, but the price you pay is that every time you turn it on it has to say "FM radio" to let you know which of the possible modes it's on. If it said "Hello gorgeous", I'd be in, but to have to tell me it's on FM radio every time I turn it on is going to irritate me. It's just asinine.
Call me old school, but I think the volume knob is superior to buttons. To me it is anyway. This works as expected. It turns on using the volume knob too, which is nice.
You can tune this either by pushing the numbers to a station (push the buttons on the top 9 1 5 and you'll get 91.5) , but if you want to tune it manually using the buttons, you have to change a setting in the menu. Otherwise the tuning button will just go to the next preset.
Honestly it's not quite loud enough for me. I have another bluetooth speaker that's the same way. Just can't turn it up to 11 like I want.
It's very cool that it comes with a battery and you can just charge it by plugging it in with an included cord. Very civilized.
But since it falls short on the basic FM radio stuff that I want it to do, I'm sending it back.

Great value for the price
I've been using this radio/speaker at work for about a week. I'm happy with it so far. It is smaller than I expected - smaller and lighter than my stapler - but I was surprised at how good it sounds. I had compared a few other speakers but ultimately chose this one because the FM radio has a digital display that shows the station. You can also dial in the station by using the numbers on the top. If there is one thing I would change it would be the volume setting. The radio's volume doesn't have a quiet enough setting - it's on too loud for my preference or it's off completely - so I've been using it mostly as a Bluetooth speaker so I can control the volume with my phone to make it quiet enough to sit on my desk and still be able to answer the phone. It was easy to set up and use. One battery charge lasts me through about a day and a half of using it for an 8-hour shift.

Avantree portable better than expected.
Didn't like it at first because it seemed counterintuitive. I rarely read directions. A few days later and after inserting a micro SD card with all my music, I got familiar with it and began to really appreciate it. The speaker output and sound is good but with a headset plugged in it really shines. This device has so many features it is rare for me to get to use all of them all the time. It is exactly what I want and way more. I especially appreciate it in my spa where I can listen to my music saved on an inserted SD card..

Great product for the money! I drive a truck and use this as my radio and it gets loud enough for me to hear it over the engine. Only down side I would say is the antenna is not the best. Battery life is great.
