THE NEW UV-25
Just got this in today. It took 10 days to have this delivered to me on my doorstep... I'm really liking this radio..ITS A BEAST.. my BAOFENG AR-152 is next to it.. both bigger radios with bigger batteries...
I programed it and I'm able to hit every repeater within 60 miles.. that's about 30 repeaters...
I'll be updating this review as I have had it longer n used it more..
I recommend the BAOFENG UV-25..
When I say I hit that many repeaters in using my rooftop antenna, but the antenna that comes with the UV-25 works very well... just know you have to be in range to hit repeaters...
Ok.. first update for this review.. I've charged my battery twice now on this UV-25 and both time it took over 12 hours to charge... in the manual it states it will take 2 to 5 hours to fully charge... over 12 hours is just way too long to be charging a battery in this size..
I will be coming back for another update.
Ok.. I've contacted the seller waiting 24 to 48 hours we will see how this goes...
Seller is trying to see if they can ship me a new battery..... (stand by)
The seller HITALK reached out and are shipping me a replacement battery.... Great customer care..
Would buy from the again...
