Original box broken.
When I opened the envelope, I found the original box in that condition. An unpleasant surprise. It doesn't look used, and I hope it's okay. I'll try it tomorrow.

Best Budget MEASUREMENT MIC money can buy!
The mic is a surprisingly good measurement microphone that won’t stress you out if it gets lost or banged up. It’s affordable, works well for room measurements, and delivers accurate results without costing an arm and a leg. I love that I can bring it to gigs, rehearsals, or any setup without constantly worrying about babying it.

Awesome for single mic on drum kit for IEMs
I am using this mic in our IEM setup with an XR18 mixer. I didn't want to deal with multiple mics and I wanted it out of sight. I needed something small, cheap, and omni to pickup all around. I figured placing the mic in the center of the kit was my best bet and I didn't want it overhead. I clamp it to the bottom rim on my snare using an old Shure PG series mic clamp. See the pic. I can play with the angle of the mic depending on what I need more of. I scoop out the mids with a large amount of EQ and then tune to taste for lows and highs. I get plenty of attack on all of the drums and the cymbals are all present as well. Nice low end too, but I don't need a lot as I can still feel the vibrations from the drums. At this price, if I destroy one every once and awhile, I'll just replace it. Try it!
