The first unit that I purchased worked ok for a couple of days. Then it stopped working. The unit would power on and sound would come through as long as the EQ was not active. When I pushed the active button everything went silent. I returned the unit and ordered a second. Same problem right out of the box. I decided to call the manufacturer given that they are located in the IS. I spoke to Alex (technical support) who was super dismissive. He took me through his trouble tree and verified that the unit was defective. He was not at all apologetic an told me to return it if I wasn't happy. I politely asked if I could speak to a supervisor and he would not allow me to do so and hung up. Unbelievable. I would not recommend purchasing equipment from this manufacturer as they do not seem to place a high priority on quality or customer service. Please see the video.

Major flaw beware
I tested the power adaptor if the power cuts of from the source but it is not. So the issue is on the unit where it randomly loses power for a moment. I can hear it click so it must have a defective relay or something on the circuit. I try to replace it and will be receiving another one and if it have the same issue then it is a shame made in USA.
Update: after the replacement I thought the issue was resolved but the replacement unit has the same problem so I am returning this as well. I ordered a different product and 60% cheaper and it does not cutoff like this one so I bought two “Sybasonic Tone Control Preamp” this is the product that works after I was playing it for 4 hours on my edrum it never had any issue and has more dynamic sound and more alive.

Popping sound soulution
It made a terrible popping sound when it turned on so I decided to purchase a timer delay so my amplifier would turn on a little bit after the EQ turned on. It’s solve the problem. here is a link.

Simple. Quality Build. Made in USA. 1 Flaw. (Update 11/24)
My EQ arrived 1 day ago. While I'm not extremely excited by the red color, it's more than acceptable given the quality of the EQ's build. A fairly small form factor that feels robust and of significant quality in the hands. It does what it's supposed to do and helped bring my desktop speakers to life when sandwiched between the Aiyima T8 6N3 Tube Preamp and the Aiyima A07 TPA3255 Power Amplifier. My only gripe, when placed in bypass mode you only get audio from one speaker,/channel. Initially I thought this was an issue with my set up (user error) but after extensive troubleshoot by swapping RCA cables and speakers, the root cause become apparent once I eliminated the EQ from the chain. Faulty hardware perhaps, I'll likely be sending it back within the next week. **UPDATE** I've come to realize that I initially had the EQ wired incorrectly. Yes, this oversight caused me to miss out on some quality music as well as erroneously reviewing this item initially. Now that it's connected properly, I absolutely love it! I will be keeping this and encourage anyone that is looking for a bit of additional "color" for their otherwise dull speakers to do the same.

Great product. Perfect for tweaking your preferred sound.
I upgraded my stereo. But all the modern receivers/amps no longer feature a "Loudness" button that adds more low-end and high "sparkle".
Even with my graphic EQ and tweaking my subwoofer, I was still missing the "fullness" I had become accustomed to.
I was skeptical if this 4 band parametric would help.
But much to my surprise, by putting it in the signal chain after the DAC (w/ linear power supply) and graphic EQ, the Bellari provides the audio "muscle" that was missing. No exaggerated colorization and without losing spaciousness and headroom.
Highly recommended.
But warning: This or any other comparable EQ will not make cheap speakers sound like expensive ones.
My only complaint? The red with gold knobs.
Also, power it up before turning your amp on. Engaging the Bellari power button, a rather loud pop occurs that could possibly damage speakers.

Old school meets new. Solid, sounds fantastic...
30 year old Pioneer CD changer to Nobsound HiFi 6J2 Tube Preamp to this Bellairi EQ to a Bose soundbar. Beautiful. I had the bass and treble control but this gives me the midrange that I needed.

Woke my speakers up.
About 20 years ago my vintage Onkyo A-8700 integrated amp was retired and replaced by a Denon 5 channel receiver to be used in the living room hooked to the TV with a 12 inch Bic sub. Wanting to play my old album collection again I decided to get my 8700 out of the attic along with my turntable and clean them both up. The Techniqes turntable also got a new cartridge and stylus. I also had an old pair of Bose 301's that would come out retirement to aide in my new setup. I wanted another pair of speakers to assist the Bose with upper bass and highs. I ordered a pair of Klipsch R-51M. Even though these 4 speakers sound great together I've always known I would get a sub to finish the low end. Even with these 4 Speakers driven with my Onkyo they seem to missing some clarity that I was looking for. So I started shopping for equalizers and came across this Bellari EQ570. Not being made in China was important and seeing they were made in the USA was the deal breaker.. My older Onkyo and turntable were both made in Japan and the quality is impeccable. The amp weighs as much as a city bus. This Bellari really added new life to these speakers. I can now hear every click on the high hat and the ride cymbals have such a nice clear ping to them the way they were meant to be heard . This unit looks well built and the knobs have a nice quality feel to them. The only thing I didn't like about the unit was the indents in the knobs should be painted red or black so you can easily see where each knob is set at. A black sharpie should fix this issue.. Still deserves 5 stars.

Works
Feels solid, nice color, all the frequencies knobs work correctly. the active button to bypass has a loud pop through your headphones, so leave it on or off before you put your headphones on. setup is pc to bbe282ir - bellari eq570 - shiit magni heresy and koss headphones kph30i with grado pads. still looking for a dac. the bellari eq570 really adds that much needed kick up in the low end.

Doesn't cause attention to its self...
Honestly, after the Rockville purchase and return, I was looking for a equalizer that didn't cause attention to itself. The first Rolls does just that. No crazy feedback, no crazy hum during quite times during audio playback, and no craziness with the augmentation. As a matter of fact, the only real criticism is that I wished it had more bump in the lower frequencies. And even with that critique, it does a really good job with the bass. I may have to just get some type of bass booster for that. Either way you'll be doing yourself a favor by getting this. There's no distortion and no trickery with the signal. Every thing is done with the thought of do no harm to the actual source material. That's really all you can ask for. Especially since, these crazy audiophile enthusiasts are now making linear amplifiers that has no sweetness to it at all with too much midrange. You need a device like this to add some sweetness to your listening. Also, I just want to add that if you get one of these. You may need a competent amplifier. Paring this with a 100 dollar amp, you will not get everything you want from a listening. That's not to say it won't help you at all but to me this works best with a non-integrated amplifier. Otherwise great pickup.

Simple and solid. Well constructed.
I could not effectively eq sound coming out of my iPhone with any app. Too muddy. The EQ570 solved that problem. Connectors on the back cover most situations nicely.

Embrace Equalization - Your ears will thank you.
This did the job.
I immediately noticed a difference both with headphones and speakers. I’m all for audio purity, but this takes all your flat vinyl mixes you think sound odd or better when you heard them as CD’s up.
And for those complaining or worrying about the dials being small, they are not.
And for others worried about the dials not having a mark on them to show you where you are in range - they have a tactile click feel at dead center.
Very cool very beautiful. Made in the U.S. and built like a Tonka truck you got for Xmas in the 80’s.

Beautiful Pair
I absolutely love the two Ross Bellari products I've pared together, the VP549 and the EQ570. It's like magic. They truly brought music to life. I didn't need to make any major adjustments with either the phono preamp or the equalizer. However, the minor adjustments I did make brought the music to the room with great beauty and life.

Poor build quality
I can't comment on the sound quality for this unit as I won't be using it after seeing the poor build quality. The pots are bent and not parallel to one another. The center detent for the knobs should be 12:00, but only on one of four knobs is this the case. The unit has many hairline scratches, with the worst being deeper on the top of the case. The condition of this unit was surprising and unacceptable.
