I was looking to improve my recording quality since I had a long time with my at2020, and this microphone is simply another level, arrived in perfect condition, brand new, and the audio quality is simply spectacular, completely recommended with eyes closed.

Decent mic sensitivity but beware internal wiring issues

I've had this mic for some time, at least six months at this point. Out of the box, I had a good deal of static with this mic, which I attributed to a poor power environment. I bought a grounding box and that seemed to help a bit, at least enough to muddle through. I also attributed some of the issue to the amazingly cheap XLR interface I was using.

I'm now at the point of having used Mogami cables ($50) and purchased a GoXLR ($400). This mic, if you get a 'bad' one, will be the bane of your streaming and broadcasting existence. To put it simply, buzzing static happens frequently, and the only way to alleviate it is by touching the mic (?!), over and over, until the efi discharges. Specifically, the Blue emblem near the buttons produces a hum when touched, every time. The hum will build on it's own, and it's only by touching the emblem that I've been able to discharge that hum, for a time.

This will be replaced soon, with a brand that makes professional microphones.

Amazing microphone

Wow, the perfect mic imo. Small size, build quality is amazing, shock mount included, you can't beat it for the price. Amazing clear crispy quality out of the box, doesn't pick up background noise at all. I am running it thru an tc helion go xlr. Aesthetically 10/10. Comes in a super nice wooden box. I want to buy another just to have incase this one ever breaks. Just perfect imo, If you're on the fence about it, get it. No regrets here, 100% recommend.

Amazing Microphone!!!

Big difference between this and my old mic! This thing sounds crisp and clean! Worth every penny! Box itself was a little worn but the contents are pristine! Love the wooden case for it too.

Casing is already loose

I guess make sure you buy a warranty if you get this. Hasn’t event been a year. It has stayed in my private studio and the casing is already loose and that causes noise with movement. A pretty expensive piece of equipment to be stuck with now

Love it nice upgrade

Superior value for the price point!

I highly recommend this microphone to anyone who wants to dip into the higher end sound spectrum for their content creation.

I'm a content creator for YouTube and I stream. This microphone is great for my voice. My voice is kind of unique in that I have a bassy mid-tone voice which allows me to pic up almost any mic and my voice will require minimum eq. This mic is FANTASTIC at picking up my low and mid tones. It gives a very pleasing warmth (think radio announcer) with great presence to my voice. Just remember that microphones are better suited to different tones of voice. I read somewhere that this mic is best suited for the low and mid toned voices.

One important thing to note is that I use a GOXLR Mini for my interface which is pretty much has the best preamp on the market and provides premium quality sound. Blue Spark SL + GOXLR Mini is a match made in heaven. It has made a huge difference in my work flow as I don't have to waste time in post processing my voice overs. I record and go straight into post video editing.

Great look and sound

I use this microphone with a GoXLR for streaming on platforms like Twitch. This microphone is crisp and clear, and the aesthetics of it are top notch... Well worth the money... Just keep in mind that you need audio equipment to use it with as it is only an XLR mic... no 3.5 mm or usb connections.

Incredible quality for the price.

Excellent microphone—at its price point, it delivers an absurdly clear and loud sound. I use it for recording music and streaming online, and it exceeds expectations. Because it's a powerful microphone, be sure that your studio or recording location is properly soundproofed, as it will pick up every stray noise, from cars driving by to the squeak of your chair.
