Small footprint - Good battery - Not entirely silent
Working in IT means I deal with screens and noise all day, so I need some quiet audio to wind down before bed. I got this bone conduction pillow speaker so that I wouldn't bother my spouse at night.
Build Quality: The build quality is surprisingly good. It has a really small footprint that slips under any standard pillow without creating a weird lump. You barely notice it is there when you are trying to sleep.
Battery Life: The battery holds up perfectly for several nights of use. As an IT guy, I appreciate a Bluetooth setup that connects quickly and stays stable. The auto-off timer is also a great feature so the device does not drain while you are sleeping.
Audio Performance: The sound is decent enough for podcasts or white noise. It transmits through the pillow well for the person lying directly on it. Just do not expect deep bass or perfectly crisp highs.
Noise Bleed: I hoped this would be completely silent to anyone else in the room. Unfortunately, the sound can still be heard a little bit outside of the bubble of my pillow. It is much quieter than a normal speaker, but my spouse can still hear a faint whisper.
This little gadget does the job if you need personal background noise to fall asleep. It is a good value for side sleepers trying to keep the peace at night.

Interesting idea, but inconsistent performance in real-world use
I thought this would be a great solution for listening to TV, podcasts, or audiobooks while falling asleep without disturbing my wife. It's a clever concept, and I was excited to give it a try.
Setup was simple. Powering it on is done with the somewhat unintuitive "M" button (I'm assuming it stands for Mode), and it automatically entered Bluetooth pairing mode when it wasn't connected. Pairing with my phone was quick and trouble-free.
Before trying it under a pillow, I tested it against my cheek, ear, and the back of my head. Unless the speaker was positioned almost directly against my ear, the audio sounded fairly muffled. It didn't provide the same experience I've had with other bone conduction devices.
Next came the real test—using it under a pillow. The instructions simply say to place it under your pillow, and even the product photos show it positioned off to the side. In my experience, placement was much more critical than that. With my normal pillow, I had to increase the volume to around 90% just to hear it comfortably. The pillow does an excellent job of muffling the sound.
I also tried a thinner pillow, which helped somewhat, but the speaker still needed to be positioned almost directly beneath my ear for the audio to be clear. If it shifted even a little during the night, the listening experience dropped off noticeably.
I had also hoped to use it for audiobooks and podcasts, but I ran into the same issue. Unless it's positioned just right, it's difficult to hear clearly.
On the positive side, the speaker itself is impressively thin, so it doesn't create much discomfort under the pillow. The build quality also seems decent.
Overall, I think the concept is excellent, but the execution falls short. The audio clarity and usable listening volume just aren't consistent enough for me to recommend it at this price point.
Bottom line: If you don't mind carefully positioning the speaker directly under your ear, it may work well for you. In my experience, though, it was too sensitive to placement to be truly practical, so I don't feel it offers the value I was hoping for.

Much, much, better than the old "pillow speakers"
Supposedly, it's terrible to sleep while stories and audiobooks are playing. Definitely, it's problematic to listen to a dramatic tale while the person in the next bunk is trying to sleep. For years, there were "pillow speakers" that produced rather tinny audio for folks who wanted a speaker near their ears while sleeping. They were typically shaped like a 4" square, 3/4-1" thick pillow. They were hard, and had a cord that had to be plugged into a radio or tape recorder.
This is definitely not one of those. First off, this NOT a bone conduction speaker, despite it's description. It's a relatively small, popsicle-stick shaped device, just over 1/3" thick. It weighs about 40 grams, and most of that weight appears to be battery, because the speaker seems to run forever on a charge. It's advertised to last 15 hours, but in my personal stress-test, it was going strong at 18 hours before I got distracted by squirrels and turned it off. Even with the long battery, it is small enough that it doesn't put a horrible lump under most pillows like the old-fashioned ones. I don't notice it underneath the pillow, except that the audio volume varies with your ear's distance from the speaker-stick.
I use it as a Bluetooth speaker, feeding it with my phone, but it has a nice trick up its sleeve beyond that: it'll accept what its documentation calls a "TF Card" (Trans-Flash?) which apparently means an SD card. Basically, you can put your audio files on an SD card and play them straight from the device, no phone or computer required. I haven't tested this, but supposedly you just insert the SD card into the speaker then connect a USB-C cable to your audio file source (computer, most likely) and you copy the files to the player like it's an external drive. Then, you use the pushbuttons on the side (see photo) to control the play. This isn't a huge trick, but it's a nice one, and a nice bonus.
Summary: It's an MP3 player and a pillow-speaker. It is small, light, and plays for longer than I had patience before, but at least 15 hours without dying. I'm not sure why they claim bone-conduction, but it definitely works nicely under a pillow, and beats the old tech hands-down. It sounds great. I definitely recommend this one. 5 Stars

Looks fantastic! Performs extremely well using micro-SD and Bluetooth audio.
Looks great! (It’s really pretty . . and nicely sized, about the size of a couple of short pens placed side-by-side). Works impressively well. Through a pillow, the sound is of course a bit muffled (by design), as it’s playing its vibrations through a pillow. Given that a person sleeping on the very next pillow over hears little to nothing at all (at medium volumes) and traces of much-diminished sound (if the listener is using higher volumes), this really sounds *great*! for the intended listener.
Our intentions for this were to find a way for one sleeper to listen to ocean waves or rain storms or nature/birds or other sounds meant to aid their sleep without the other sleeper necessarily being subject to the same sounds. This does exactly that, and surprisingly well. Like, impressively well.
Tested both with a Bluetooth audio feed (which works great though isn’t the intended sleeper’s favorite, as they have personal concerns about exposure to EMF frequencies from Bluetooth devices (though we tested and found the emissions to be in range of “very safe” (nearly undetectable, trace levels))) and using our User-provided TF card (micro-SD memory card) loaded with pre-recorded .mp3 audio. Bluetooth pairing was consistently smooth, and switching to or selecting to play from the flash memory card slot was just as easy. (To switch between Bluetooth and memory card, double-click the power button . . or, with the device turned on, insert (or eject and re-insert) a TF/micro-SD memory card. It switches over seamlessly.) Note that Bluetooth automatically disconnects when a/the memory card is selected, which is *exactly* as we were hoping (and is as preferred by the formerly-mentioned sleeping individual). Splendid. Bonus. Nice…
Minor oddity: Not important, though it seems a bit strange that the micro-SD flash card is inserted “upside down” into the unit. (Bottom of the unit facing up, top of card facing up. Or: Top of unit facing up, bottom of card facing up. You get it . . it’s just a little odd.) Manufacturer’s/Designers’ preference, yeah we get that . . Doesn’t at all adversely affect the operation, and the device is, as we may have mentioned before, quite pretty. Very sleek.
When loading music onto the memory card, we’ve tended to save files directly onto the memory card ourselves (our .mp3 source devices have slots for the various sizes of SD/TF), though the perfectly-sized and useful single-page, flyer-like manual / informational sheet cites that the device can be accessed directly from a computer via a USB-C data cable (one is included with the kit, just in case, for file transfer onto User-provided TF/micro-SD and for charging the unit).
It also has a built-in :30min or 1hr timer feature (triple-click the power key to activate and use the volume up/down keys to select the timer time). We don’t tend to use that, though it’s good to know that it’s available for times when we do want it.
Lastly, the volume up/down buttons, which double as “hold for previous/next song” buttons, work perfectly. (Also notable: Click the power button once for pause/continue, or hold power button to turn the unit off, if preferred. (Triple-click it for the Timer feature.)
.:.We very much dig this. It looks great, is a nice small size, performs exactly as described (if not better than described), fits *exactly* what we were looking for, and then some… Initial and follow-up responses from the intended sleeper were, “Wow . . this is nice!” That made me happy, just having found the right sound solution on the first shot out of the gate. …And because it’s a vibration source, it is audible even when not tucked underneath a pillow or touching a skull bone, so have sometimes used it as a low-sound-volume, nearby music source while working inside or doing recreational coding or so.
Very nice, very much worth the investment, we like the performance, the design (including accepting the whole “upside down memory card” personal preference weird-only-to-us ‘oddness’ ;^), the excellent look of this device, ease of use, reliable connectivity, nearly-undetectable (by our detector devices) trace EMF residuals, … We do recommend it to our friends (unsure whether they’ve yet ordered theirs) and would select this model as gifts for friends and family who are seeking similar solutions for improving their sleep experience.

A Few Things
This pillow bone conduction speaker does actually work when placed under your pillow. If you’re a side sleeper and like myself wear sleeping ear pods at night, this is helpful with ear pain.
The sound quality is pretty decent, but the louder you set the volume, you can hear it without laying on your pillow.
Which means your partner in bed may hear it as well.
The Bluetooth connection is seamless.
But there is no indicator of battery life percentage and when I placed this on a charger before using, there is just a red light that lights up and when done charging, the red light just blinks.
Since there is no color change , it might be easy to not notice when it’s fully charged.
I also tested the sound quality with a 6 inch dense memory foam pillow and it still works great in that regard.
The instructions tell you how to set this for timer function and changing from one track to another if playing music.
Although when I tried it for a movie, the audio for verbal dialogue isn’t that clear…
It’s quite small, so it’s easy to transport for travel.
It would be nice and I think important for the company to disclose what the battery life for this product actually is.
The price point seems fair and overall it is simple to use.

A great little gadget you never knew you needed if you aren’t sleeping alone
I honestly didn’t expect to use this thing nearly as much as I have.
At first, I assumed it would be more of a gimmick, but it ended up becoming something I use pretty frequently for:
* Music
* Podcasts
* Movies
* Relaxation audio before sleep
And the biggest surprise? It actually lets me listen privately at night without waking my wife, who is a very light sleeper.
Honestly, this feels like one of those great little gadgets you never knew you needed if you aren’t sleeping alone.
Sound & expectations:
Going in, I wasn’t expecting incredible audio quality or crystal-clear sound. Realistically, this is:
* A small speaker
* Under a dense pillow
* Transmitting sound through fabric and cushioning
So expectations need to stay reasonable.
That said, for bedtime listening, it honestly works surprisingly well.
Even at higher volume settings:
* I could hear it clearly
* My wife could barely hear it at all
That alone made this product way more impressive than I expected.
Comfort:
The slim design matters a lot here. Thankfully:
* It’s small
* Thin
* Lightweight
…and I genuinely could not feel it through my pillow while sleeping.
That was one of my biggest concerns before trying it.
Battery life:
Battery life has also been excellent. Multiple times I accidentally fell asleep with it still running and woke up hours later to find it still powered on.
So far the runtime has exceeded my expectations.
Volume control:
Ironically, my one audio complaint is actually the opposite of what I expected:
* I wish it could go EVEN quieter
I could still comfortably fall asleep while listening, but I personally would have liked an ultra-low whisper volume setting for nighttime use.
Biggest downside – Bluetooth behavior:
The biggest annoyance is definitely how the Bluetooth pairing works.
Once it’s paired to one device, it doesn’t easily “swap” to another device like many modern Bluetooth products do.
Instead, I have to:
1. Go into the first device
2. Manually disconnect the speaker
3. Then connect with the second device
A lot of modern Bluetooth devices let you simply:
* Put them into pairing mode
* Tap them from another device
* Automatically reconnect/switch
This one feels more old-school and clunky in that regard.
⸻
👍 Pros:
* Surprisingly private listening experience
* Doesn’t disturb light sleepers much
* Slim enough not to feel through pillow
* Excellent battery life
* Great for podcasts, movies, and music before bed
* More useful than expected
* Comfortable for side sleeping
👎 Cons:
* Bluetooth swapping between devices is annoying
* Volume could go even lower for sleep use
* Sound quality is good for the purpose, but not amazing
⸻
💬 Final verdict:
I’d rate this a 4 out of 5. It ended up being far more useful than I originally expected and genuinely works well for private nighttime listening.
If you like falling asleep to music, podcasts, movies, or background audio but don’t want earbuds in your ears—or don’t want to wake your partner—this is honestly a clever little sleep gadget.

Pretty cool speaker!
What an interesting item.. I honestly wasn’t too sure how this would work (if it would at all) so went into it without high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised how well this works.
I have a little one and my husband I have different sleeping shifts by a few hours. So there are times I am upstairs in the bed resting and scrolling shorts or listening to ebooks/podcast but am trying to be quiet. This was perfect! The sound is low enough but clear enough that I could still hear my ebook playing even when he was needing to be alseep. I had hated having my ear phones in for a long time, and this eliminates that issue!
It is easy to charge, and uses most major phone charger to do so. Which is another great plus in my book!

Perfect for side sleepers who want private audio without earbuds!
I’ve tried several sleep speakers and this one is by far the best one I’ve used. It’s ultra-thin, so it fits comfortably under my pillow without creating any pressure or lumps, which is a huge win for a side sleeper like me.
The sound quality is surprisingly clear and rich for bone conduction, I can enjoy podcasts, audiobooks, or relaxing music at night without disturbing my wife. The Bluetooth 5.3 connection is stable and pairs instantly with my phone. I also love the TF card slot as a backup option.
The auto-off timer is super convenient (I usually set it for 30 or 60 minutes), and it really helps me fall asleep faster without worrying about turning it off later. Battery life has been excellent so far.
Setup was straightforward, it feels well-built, and it stays in place under the pillow all night. If you’re a light sleeper or side sleeper who hates wearing earbuds, this is the perfect solution. Highly recommend!

Pillow Speaker Works Great
The bocoice bone conduction pillow speaker works great through the pillow. I also had fun experimenting with other items to conduct the speaker sound. The box it came in is actually a pretty good conductor.
The size of the speaker makes it easy to travel with. It's only 4.5 inches long. Plus, it will do 15 hours of continuous play on one charge. It charges quickly with a USB C charger.
By following the directions it was easy to connect with bluetooth. The speaker also reads a TF card and can be used like an MP3 player. I would prefer playing off a card for sleep. Those little cards hold a lot of data.
It was nice listening to the speaker through the pillow. It sounds kind of dreamy. I also intend to keep exploring other items until I find the perfect sound conductor.
