Sounds very loud, bass thumpy. A little muddy at higher volume (worse with bass heavy songs) and indistinct at low volume, for the price point. Was also surprised at the old charger, instead of USB-C. Size is nice, looks nice, handle seems much sturdier than I expected. Glad I got it on a good black friday deal! Feels more worth the money.
Gave 3 stars because it showed up like covered in shampoo or body wash, from the smell.

This has been a great speaker for me. It is a great size because it's portable and light, and it is also water and dust proof. It is easy to use and connects well with my blue tooth, and also it has a sleek look to it that I really like. It's great indoors and outdoors, and I've really loved it!

I got it today… I’m traveling and I need some good quality sound speakers and this was the best.. very loud and clear sound, beautiful shape and color.. easy to carry and transport due the light weight… simply the best.. I am not high maintenance and as long as it holds charge, I am very pleased.. I will come back after the trip to give my feedback on that..
So I travelled with it overseas and it was great.. I carried it through the airport in my handbag because it can’t be shipped in a suitcase due to the lithium battery .. it holds charge very well, loud and clear.. I am still using it whenever I have troubles with Alexa to play my favorite playlist… I simply love it..

They are built well they sound very well for this size speaker bass is very good but the sound cuts off for a second and then right away back on. It stopped doing that about two weeks ago maybe because I select party mode and then stereo mode faster. They get loud for this size speaker I use these speakers every day mostly for movies. In this video the sound was at about 77 on the laptop. They can get much louder.

This speaker is the perfect size and has amazing sound quality and battery life. It’s very easy to connect any device to and is small enough to throw in your bag to take to the beach, a cookout, or anywhere. Can’t beat the sound quality for the price!

Replaced my old Bose SoundLink 1 with this and this is even a better choice! Definitely fills up the room with crystal clear sound if you are playing a great recording! Was disappointed with the Bose QCII earbuds but this really makes up for that disappointment! Highly recommend!

Nice sound, very loud and perfect size. The Bose app is useless, wish it had EQ controls and the Micro USB charging port kind of bugs me as well. But other than that it’s very nice!

THE GOOD

THE MEDIOCRE
- Charging cable: Not a huge deal, but not having a USBC on a premium product purchased in 2023 is a miss. The micro USB has worked well over the past 6 months, but I still would much prefer the new standard USBC cable and can't fathom why it wasn't included in this version of the speaker.
- Voice: For a premium speaker in 2023, I also thoguht the voice would be improved and sound more natural. Every time I turn this on, it automatically connects to my phone and says, "Connected to ...". The voice it uses to say this seems like it is from 2011 when Siri was introduced. It's by no means a deal breaker, but my expectation was higher at this pricepoint.
What truly sets the Bose SoundLink apart, though, is its remarkable portability. I've taken it on hikes, to the beach, and even used it at picnics, and it has never disappointed. The built-in handle is a thoughtful addition, making it easy to carry, and its water-resistant design offers peace of mind during unexpected rain showers.
In summary, the Bose SoundLink is a powerhouse of a portable speaker, offering impressive sound quality, ease of use, and incredible portability. It has quickly become an essential part of my daily life, ensuring that I never compromise on audio quality, no matter where I go. The first 2-3 months are fine and great. But after that, I started to notice there is very annoying background noise when the volume is low. The buzz sound is really irritating and you can not ignore it which means that if you play quite classical music before sleep is not a good idea with this speaker anymore!

I liked the light weight, good bass and strong enough clean sound at high volume. I did not like the loudness(not loud enough) and the bass is not that deep and powerful enough to beat the JBL charge 4 considering it’s price. All in all I think its a great portable speaker similar to the charge 4 for indoor use.

I loved this when I bought it in December. I had other bluetooth speakers outside on the porch about 10 feet away from my hot tub that worked for a long time but didn't sound good. I bought this because it sounded great and Bose says "Durable, water-resistant design. You’re not afraid of a little water. Your speaker shouldn’t be either. SoundLink Revolve+ II’s water-resistant design means you can use it more places without worrying about an accidental showering of water, like by the pool or by the kitchen sink."
Then 3 months later it would no longer charge. I tried everything Bose recommended to get it working and nothing worked. I then sent it back for repair. I got an email saying "We regret to inform you that the product you have sent us for repair is not serviceable due to water damage. We would like to offer you the option of a comparable replacement product at a 30% discount. Please call our customer service team to discuss this option."
I presumed this meant their website is false advertising. I am sure some rain fell on the speaker, but it is not supposed to kill the product. When I called I got someone who was frankly incoherent and very frustrating. They were telling me when the return was received it was in a plastic bag full of dirty water. Obviously I did not ship it that way. They told me you should not submerge the speaker. I never submerged the speaker! Therefore, I assume UPS dropped in it water on the way there. They said I had to contact UPS and have them send Bose an email. This takes 3 weeks.
At this point I don't want to waste money on buying another Bose product that may fail if I use it outside. I don't ever want to have to deal with their incoherent support. I will be looking for a replacement, but it probably won't be Bose

From the first time I ever heard a Bose I have been nothing but a Bose person. When I want new audio I only look for a Bose. They do sound like nobody else. It never ceases to amaze me how they make so much deep, rich, room filling sound come from such a little speaker. I got the SoundLink Revolve+ II home, turned it on and was once again blown away. The clarity of the sound, the deep bass and the volume range are incredible. I love that this speaker is portable. I can carry it all around my apartment and listen to my favorite playlists. This is the 4th Bose product I have purchased and it will definitely not be the last. Bose is the best.

One star because the package had previously been open. Product was fully charged and used. The package was mangled when returned and then shipped to me as new. The speaker seems to work so far. This is my second Bose speaker like this and they work great.

The connection on the charging station end of the USB cable is faulty and will not stay in the connection. The cable keeps working its way out due to a poorly connecting socket and unnatural bend they have in the unit where cable goes in (see photo). I had to duct tape it there to keep it in, otherwise the unit does not charge and speaker is dead when I go to use it somewhere. I would have expected better engineering from Bose on this.

Yes, I got this speaker bc of the handle. Of course, Bose is a fantastic brand, too. You'd be surprised how often the handle comes in handy while outside. A very good splurge.

My husband has one for his office and loved it . Our boys have managed to hijack or outside music devices so we needed something to stream music outside by pool. Bose was the first choice . Went with the water resistant Soundlink Revolve 2 . Great sound - perfect for pool jams , and easily transported anywhere in house or elsewhere . Awesome purchase 🔥
